My boyfriend wanted to buy some white shirts for work, so we came to this store. There were two men working, each helping a client who was trying on suits. We were looking around and found a shirt my boyfriend liked, so he decided to try it on.
When he came out of the fitting room, he asked the older salesman what he thought about it. The man completely ignored him because he was busy chatting with a woman while her husband was in the changing room. Even when the other clients were changing, the salesmen didn’t bother to help us.
Then my boyfriend said, “I have a question.” Without even waiting for the question, the older salesman replied, “The shirt is 30€.” We’re not sure what he meant by that. My boyfriend actually wanted to ask about the size, since the shirt was a bit loose around the wrists and overall. The salesman just said, “Our shirts are made to be worn under suit jackets.” It was just a simple white shirt, is it forbidden to wear it without a jacket? He didn’t even offer to show a smaller size or provide any advice. Both employees looked grumpy and annoyed the whole time. They could definitely smile more and actually help customers instead of chatting the whole time.
We specifically went to this store because we wanted a more personalized experience and some professional advice, otherwise, we could’ve just gone to H&M.
