Love my Genie 7055..super quite with a 18' solid wood door.

I needed a replacement for a genie 912 opener the new one that came won't work, and customer support said that my garage door is too old. Totally the wrong response. They should have found old stock and shipped no charge.
Customer support did not even realize that the original part number was from their parent company. Even though they had purchased the original company. Pathetic Service. One can read about their history on their own web page. I expect the President of the company to e-mail me and make this correct.

Required assistance reprogramming my garage door since the previous owner failed to leave access. Representative was extremely helpful, walked me thru the reprogramming process although it took quite a long time. But it worked! Also, recommended garage door openers and assisted with programing once received. Great service!

The XMTR,G1T-BX ,GENIE ..Was so small like sized of Thumb and to program it , you I guess had to get back cover off and press something for light to blink , then press again for another light to blink and so on . First of all I couldn't get back cover off and not even for the Battery Compartment either. I then fooled around with my Old Genie Remote Garage Door Opener and got it to work . I return the G1T-BX , GENIE GARAGE DOOR REMOTE OPENER , have not heard from GENIE COMPANY about my return , that is why I'm giving the GENIE COMPANY 1 Star

The web site was designed for the benefit of GENIE customers. I liked the CHAT part which made it easy to spell out my problem. My remote opener was ancient but GENIE was still able to solve my problem by suggesting an up- to-date remote opener.
