Based on my first experiences looking at some mineral specimens, I feel that sellers here are not flexible with pricing and think their items are worth much more than they really are.

I made several offers for some specimens I was interested in, basing my offer price on what I've paid at other large auction sites over the past few years. 3 out of 3 sellers turned me down completely, and one only accepts offers between 5-10% off the asking price.

One of the specimens I looked at was priced at over $3500 but based on it's size and quality, is really only worth a few hundred dollars. The wouldn't even budge on the price - insane!

Make sure you do some shopping around to get familiar with what things are worth before you buy from here.

This is one reliable place to purchase beautiful gemstones from any seller across the world. You will find genuine sellers here. It’s not easy to buy original gemstones in this day and age. I’m on my second order. Just brilliant.

Great site to shop and buy. So far purchased items have arrived well packed and quickly shipped.

This was my first order. I began by looking at everything with my desired stone.....tourmaline....then I was able to create a short list by tapping the heart on my selected item. Then I contacted the sellers. Then I made an offer and then I paid by using a credit card. Don't be worried about putting your cc info during the beginning account creation process. It makes it easy when you want to immediately bid on something or make a lower offer to the seller. I have not got the 2 pieces yet. I'm in US and the will come from Australia but this web platform is VERY easy to navigate and use. The pictures are clear and I chose my seller bc she puts a video with most of her pieces, that made all the difference.
Lastly, we need to support small artisans doing what they love! Don't buy jewelry from chain stores and big box. Buy pieces made with love from small sources and that love will resonate every time you wear the piece! over and out❤️

I have received stones from around the world without any problems from vendors or GemRock. I know all postal / customs services are not secure but so far no problems.

This is a great site to purchase the many different types of gemstones. My concerns are some sellers give NO INFORMATION OF THEIR GEMSTONES, as to the three C’s , cut clarity and CT’s. . They should be required to give this information. They also should disclose the Country shipping is from, I was a metal sculptor since 1972 and just retired, finally. I always gave everyone a COA . I respect all the craftsmanship from Whatever country as we all need to support ourselves and families. But I feel this information is a MUST to make a good transaction even better. Although I am new to this site but for me to continue I need the Truth nothing but the Truth. And so far I asked for a discription and have had no return reply so I would not trust that seller they must have something to Hide.

Gem Rock auctions is an excellent market place. It is far superior to its competitors particularly EBayas it isn’t awash with synthetics and other man made rubbish fraudulently masquerading as earth mined gems. With Gem Roctk one at least starts in the right place. Gems are real and genuine. It’s then up to the buyer to find and select the level of quality they are looking for. It’s a a site that works for dealers and private individuals alike. I have no criticisms whatsoever.
The software interface is user friendly too and not over complex. Communication with sellersis easy in stark contrast to EBay which seems to construct its systems to deliberately prevent communication between buyers and sellers.
Simply put it does provide what it says on the tin.

I have ordered multiple dozens of gems, gem rocks, and rough uncut stones through Gem Rock Auctions all of them having gone through very smoothly. Their PayPal integration really makes it simple, fast, and easy to order so I can spend less time worrying about making a payment on time, and more time creating beautiful pieces of jewelry for family and friends.

I have been suspended for telling the true. The most of the items I buyed from the associated sellers has no comercial value. They offer money back guarantee is true but they do not want pay the shippement cost to return the bad goods to them. Some of the items I buyed never arrived, no goods, no compensation at all.
My honest opinion is: you can beter be whitout them than whit them. I think that a lot of strange things happens in this club...
