AKA Plumbers Immediately. Mains water pipe burst late evening and was flooding kitchen - could not get hold of our regular plumber and had no time to shop around or consult Trustpilot (but wish I had). Charged outrageous £850 for a couple of hours work and plumber would not leave until paid via bank transfer. Will never use again.

Total Scam - They have just tried to charge me £607 for 2 hrs work. The Plumber that came was good and fixed the issue ( i paid him direct so he wouldnt be out of pocket ) but I told the company go 'forth and Multiple' for the rest - do not use at no cost

As my ten-year lease for my two-floor semi-detached house came to an end in April, I began the daunting task of finding a reliable rubbish disposal service. After conducting some research, I stumbled upon this waste disposal service company and decided to reach out for a quote and to gain a better understanding of the services they offered.

From the moment I spoke to the phone operator, I was impressed by their level of assistance and guidance throughout the entire process. Despite contacting them in mid-March, they were able to accommodate my request without any additional charges.

The job itself took a couple of days, just as estimated, and the team was nothing short of amazing. Their professionalism and efficiency made a difficult process much easier for me to navigate.

Rubish forget about this company I think they are scammers,

Engineer came for bit over an hour, could not ultimately fix our boiler, bill ended up at £700, engineer wouldn't leave without us paying.

A company designed to exploit people in emergency situations. The £75 emergency callout fee sounds reasonable and they tell you the plumber who attends will quote, so I assumed this company just takes the £75 fee for referring the job to an independent plumber who will price it up.

Wrong - GBSE invoice you and they stipulate the hourly rate to the plumber, but don't provide this information upfront. In my case it was £350 an hour which is extortionate and there is no rational reason they can't share this rate in advance - they put the onus on the plumber to deliver that news when you've already paid the fee for them to attend. The plumber receives a fraction of that 'labour' cost.

Their website has multiple subdomains so they appear as a local company, but the same website is duplicated for all counties. e.g 'surrey.plumbingimmediately' and 'gloucestershire.plumbingimmediately' are the same website with different county names. Their 'Areas we Cover' is just plugging the county name in to Google Maps.

These racketeers are paying to stay top of Google search results and lure you in with an immediately visible phone number and promise of someone attending in 45 mins (which was more like 90 mins for me). You call in a frenzy, they withhold their prices and invoice you extortionate amounts.

All of their communication with the plumber is via whatsapp and invoices come from a gmail address. Call me suspicious, but seems convenient none of their communication can be tied back to the business.

I got my invoice reduced by 40% for threatening legal action. They didn't put up much resistance and just ask for confirmation you will pay it once reduced so they can count their losses (huge profits) for the 10 mins work they do of calling a plumber.

Don't use them.

I called them for a boiler repair, I explained everything over the phone, the boiler model the error number and what the error number means
It was as simple as low pressure.
They sent me a leak detector engine which couldn’t even recognize the problem with the boiler and they charged me £102.
I asked them for a refund but they refused
Will I call them again?? Definitely no !

I was not told the price per hour. He was meant to mend a towel rail. He did nothing and left me instead with a leaking towel rail after £336.00 bill. A complete scam and worried they will come back to haunt me

I have since had my plumber in and he fixed the problem in ½ hour and everything works now. You can tell GBSE LTD aren't a professional company as the plumber had no plumbing tools with him and no bucket. Never tried to look at the valves. which only needed washers.

Worst company I ever hire, them charge almost 400£ for nothing them didn't fix nothing, be awere and don't let them scam you

Not quite sure how a £75 call out charge turned into a £430 bill for a 15 minute boiler pressure job. A very expensive lesson to ensure you always read company reviews before engaging a service and being RIPPED OFF!!!

I basically was forced to pay call out which I didn't requested. The guy who came to fix it the gas leak wasn't even interested to do any job but straight asking to pay call out- which I didn't requested! Women on the phone had a bad reception so she was keep saying I have requested call out. The guy then asked to pay £350ph for a job he didn't even know how to do it. Absolutely scam! They still coming as a first on Web search when you need a gas engineer.

Absolute scam. They do not inform you of the £275ph +vat rate when they get there. Evil company praying on people in emergency situations.

Overcharged. Incompetent work. Taking them to court

An absolute scam. They take advantage of the fact that you're in an emergency situation to try and gouge as much money out of you as possible. £79 call out fee. I asked how much it would be, I was advised they would let me know on arrival...I wasn't expecting them to say £289 AN HOUR for a minimum of an hour of work. I informed him of the flooding on the outside wall to which he told me that it definitely would not be the issue (spoiler alert: it is). Told him to leave. Company then tried to say the call out fee has VAT on top. The engineer wanted me to pay his personal account to avoid paying VAT. Just absolute scum. Avoid at all costs.

Absolutely exorbitant - charged over £ 400 for a half-hour job. Obviously set up to exploit people in difficult situations. I would advise anyone to avoid hiring this company.

We live in an end of terrace house and ours is the first to experience problems when any of the 7 properties have a blockage. We contacted GBSE and they confirmed a call out fee of £69 and that any work would be additional cost. Their operator was polite and did solve the problem within an hour. The bill was £414.80 made up of £69 + £245 per hour labour + £31.40 admin + £69.08 VAT which is double the going rate however the job is done. Would I use them again - definitely NOT

Website looks some what decent but this is all a scam!! Called the office who mentioned there would be an £89 call out fee and if any work needed to be done it would be clarified with us as the customer and if we wanted to go ahead this would be done.
‘Engineer’ comes to the house to supposedly fix the boiler straight away (again no consulting the customers) and turned a switch ( not consulting us that this was the issue and would slam us with another £200 bill to flip a switch) he done everything off his own back even after being told we wanted no work to be done until the diagnosis as it were….. this then so called professional started threatening behaviour towards my innocent children that if payment was not made he would undo the work!! He has broken the cupboard in which the boiler is situated, damaged the counter where his tools were and was intimidating my kids!!!!! The woman from the supposed office was very unprofessional and unhelpful. Any decent company or human would not put kids or anyone for that matter at risk and start tampering with a boiler and then run out of the house. His ignorance could’ve cost my family there lives!!!
