Terrible experience and very poor handling of a missing parcel.

My parcel did not arrive on the agreed delivery day, and Evri left it in an unsafe location on the main road. The parcel is now missing.

I was initially told by a customer service agent (Sharon) that I could choose either a replacement or a refund, and I requested a refund. This was then reversed, and I was told this was not possible and that the matter would instead require a 3-day investigation.

The communication has been inconsistent and contradictory throughout, with different information being provided at different stages. It is unclear what the actual process is for handling missing or incorrectly delivered parcels.

Overall, this has been a very frustrating experience with poor communication, lack of clarity, and no clear accountability.

Unreliable online collection

I went to my nearest NEXT store from my place since I received an email from GAP with ID #. In a nutshell, the parcel never was found in the store, and GAP Customer service didn't assist to the NEXT manager who had a thoughtful and high standard customer service in spite of NEXT was not responsible of my GAP purchase. I requested refund let me see what will happen, yet everything was so phony and tricky buying on GAP website. I'd recommend to avoid this kind of episode on a cruel winter outside where I felt ridiculous waiting for a stupid parcel which never appeared. Don't cheat folks, please. We are responsible for stuff more remarkable on our daily routine🙏

Complete wrong sizing

Complete wrong sizing. The first time I thought it was a quality issue when the waist size on 32 inch chinos was measured at very nearly 34 inches. So thereby were returned . Ordered some more, both pairs turned out to be the same - 34 inch waist on chinos that were supposed to be 32 inch. I used to buy a lot on Gap, but now it’s just a waste of time and money to send them straight back.

Terrible-gone down hill

I wanted beef and all that was available was scraggy over cooked end bits. I asked if there was any nice beef available and was told I had to wait and he can't throw the bits away that were left. I ended up with dried scraggy, fatty end bits as my husband had already got his meal. Not great service.
Half of the vegetable dishes looked dried out and some were empty. The roast potatoes were absolutely burnt to nothing.
It was my birthday today and my daughter tied a birthday balloon to my chair. Unfortunately when we left we forgot to take the balloon.. After 10 mins we realised we'd left it and rang to ask them to save it so I could collect it, which we would have done within 15 mins. I was told quite matter of factly and rudely, that as it was left, we assumed it was rubbish so disposed of it! Of course they could have removed from the chair and kept it longer than 10 mins to see if we came back for it
No care and consideration at all.

Stunning Rockdoor

Absolutely love the back door for my late mums house the stunning White Cottage View Light with Cat Flap, after 26 years of having an old wooden door that had gaps in and was letting all the cd in. my late mums partner is very pleased with it and highly recommend Rockdoors 👌☺️

Terrible customer service

Gap flagged my recent order for a pair of pants as fraud and literally won’t help me to get it resolved. Their customer service is horrible and I tried many times to reach out and just got disconnected. This is maybe the 5th time I’ve had a disastrous experience with them but ofcourse I forgot and bought again, but I sure can tell you I won’t anymore. And neither will you if you don’t want a headache, trying to buy their overpriced stuff they may or may not send you. The even might send you the wrong thing and blame you.

I had a really disappointing experience…

I had a really disappointing experience trying to return a few items to GAP. I originally sent back four GAP shirts, but instead of a refund, they sent me back three shirts. I had to call in again just to get a new return label, and not once did the customer service reps apologize or take any accountability. They were dismissive, cold, and made it feel like I was being punished for an unclear process. Now I’m going through this whole return process again for the same items, and it’s honestly exhausting. GAP needs to seriously improve how they handle returns and treat their customers.

GAP have discontinued the worlds’ best t-shirt!!!

I’ve been a loyal GAP costumer for 20 years. They’ve always had the best quality and especially the worlds best “modern crewneck t-shirts”!!

I’ve bought maybe 30 of them ! But the past 1,5 year they have been “sold out” on the webshop - I’ve been in GAP in Chicago, Boston, UK, new york, Washington and looked all over the internet for the original “modern tee crewneck Short sleeve” but without any luck! They have replaced it with a new “modern crewneck” - a bad model with longer sleeves and a different shape ! Why why WHY change something that actually works and replace it with a bad new version ?!! The original modern crewneck short sleeve was a classic!! A true winner ! Perfect shape, fabric, figure and length ! What are you doing GAP??? GET IT BACK PLEASE! Don’t ruin what’s working !

Website issues

I travel a bit and Gap is usually my default go to place for Pants and formal wear (especially shoes). I have no issues with their store. Always a good experience at checkout and the team in the store. However, same cannot be said for their Website. I've never had success to log into their website. I created an account, saved my password, tried to log in, NO. Wrong password. Reset again, no luck. I've no idea what is wrong with it but even if I change browser, no luck. This needs to be fixed, can't be an isolated issue as other stores such as Burtons, H&M works fine.

Absolute waste of time

Absolute waste of time. I have ordered a pair of chinos 11 times requesting a 34x34. 11 times they have sent 34x32. It’s beyond a joke and a reoccurring problem with their jeans too. Used to be a great shop, but now a dreadful website. It’s the final straw and I won’t be shopping here any more.

No problems collecting my orders from Next

I've purchased 8 of the GAP "Modern Crew Neck Short and long sleeved T-Shirts" as I like the weight and stretch of the fabric. They cost £20 for the short sleeve and £25 for the long sleeve. They fit well and the length is well below the waist so they don't ride up or look too short. They wash well and don't shrink. I get my orders sent to my local NEXT store and have had no problems whatsoever. However, I did buy 2 of the GAP cotton long sleeved T shirts at £18 each and they turned out to be absolute rubbish! Didn't keep their shape; thin material, baggy sleeves at the wrist and too short. Couldn't be bothered to send them back so sent them to a charity shop. I won't be buying any more basic T shirts that don't have 'stretchy' fabric.
