Regarding scams and nuisance calls, we are Ofcom registered, fully compliant with regulations and we take the misuse of our numbers very seriously. Gamma is a business-to-business (B2B) wholesaler for number ranges to thousands of businesses across Europe. Therefore, it can appear that Gamma is making calls to the general public or able to control who uses them - this is not the case. Our numbers are being, at times, misused by other businesses, or non-Gamma numbers are ‘spoofed’ to make it appear as though Gamma is calling when this is not the case.
With that being said, we want to help clamp down on nuisance calls in any way we can. Therefore, we would be happy to investigate any reports to check the current owner of the numbers and can act where applicable if they are ours. Instead of leaving reviews, we would kindly ask that you provide the details of the numbers that have called you, including timestamps with our Misuse team. It helps to provide the number that received the call so we would ask that you complete the form via the link at the bottom. Our Misuse and Fraud teams can then investigate the situation.
However, if you do not want to contact us further, we would suggest reporting the numbers to the police, via www.actionfraud.police.uk or call 0300 123 2040 (if in England, Wales or Northern Ireland). If in Scotland, report to Police Scotland by calling 101.

We take the misuse of those numbers very seriously. If you would work with us to investigate this further, we would appreciate it – please contact us directly and we can pass any misuse on to our Fraud team.
UPDATE - We are conducting legacy updates to the previous complaints and we apologise for not providing you this at the time. We want to clarify that Gamma, a wholesale telecommunications network, is not making these calls.
We will investigate any breaches by our customers. Unfortunately, we are also seeing a surge in call centres 'spoofing' Gamma's numbers to mislead recipients, making it hard to track the source. This means in those cases that non-Gamma numbers are being used to commit acts of fraud, while faked to appear as one of our numbers.
We encourage you to register your numbers with the Telephone Preference Service to avoid unsolicited calls.
If you receive unwanted calls, you have options based on the type of call:
1. For "Silent and Abandoned Calls," contact Ofcom at 0300 123 3333.
2. For "Sales and Marketing" calls despite being registered with TPS, reach out to the Information Commissioner at 0303 123 113.
Both organisations can assist you with your complaint. If you’d like to discuss this further, please contact us at Misuse@gamma.co.uk with relevant details.

I’ve now had several calls from numbers attributed to this company. Each time I lift up the phone there is no answer from the other end. Why are they doing this? Presumably they’re trying to find out if I answer and pass this info on. Also if I don’t answer they can work out when no one is at home. Either way this info is useful to scammers in particular

Awful is being unkind to the word…
Awful is being unkind to the word awful!
There was a failure to delivery services across a three-month period starting from November 2020 to February 2021. Gamma completely failed the redirecting of our phone lines and despite dozens of calls failed to rectify the fault over this period.
I spent a considerable amount of time and energy calling to try and rectify for it not to be rectified.
The issues caused a substantial loss of revenue, in a peak period time of sales for the studio when we usually sell a considerable amount of Christmas voucher campaigns including Christmas gifts for recording studio experiences and singing lessons.
Further loss of potential sales due to a lack in confidence in the phone services prevented us from launching further marketing and advertising campaigns.

I had a terrible experience with Gamma, I signed up to be a partner to sell network 3, so many hidden costs and things were unclear upon sign up. I have been in telecoms for 13 years and will be telling all my connections about the way I have been treated. **** is not a credit to Gamma and has provided me terrible service.
