A company with no reguard for its customer experience.

I was a loyal customer of this particular game developer. Some would probably believe I am insane for spending hundreds of dollars over the past few months on a mobile game, but I was truely enjoying the experience. Until I had to report an issue reguarding certain, low value items I found missing (or perhaps never delivered) from my inventory. These items were not direct purchase items, so I thought it would be a simple matter to have them replaced. I was told that they had no record of me having these items in my inventory, nor do they have a record of me using them. I thought, "Yes. They see the problem and will correct it.". Wrong. Instead they asked for further "evidence" before they would replace the items, including impossibilities such as providing "exact timestamps" related to the items. As I further expressed my concerns with other player complaints about similar issues, their language remained polite, while becoming subtly mocking. While not outright saying so, they suggested that I never had the items in question and was simply trying to recieve something I had not bought or earned. At first i couldn't understand why they would stonewall over such a small matter. I then realised there would be nothing I could say or evidence I could give that would convince them to return these items. If they were to do so, I would not be forced to pay even more real dollars to replace them from the in game store. The customer support person even went so far as to suggest, to be fair with a thin veneer of civility, that I tell someone who cares. I don't understand why they are so eager to treat their customers as disposable. Beware spending money with this company, they aren't worried with your experience, just squeezing the next dollar out of you.
