I did the whole process with GAM Medical from the begining to reach the final diagnosis for ADHD.
The process went fine and I had good interactions with my therapists.
It took about 750 Euros and 4 months.

However they cannot give prescription if you're not fluent in german has they are legally required to do consultation for medication fully in German.

It's deceiving to not have been informed of this essential information when starting the whole thing in english. I've been told instead, everytime I asked, that they can provide me prescriptions if I couldn't find a another Psychiatrist locally.

My general doctor also told me, after reading the diagnosis, that another Psychiatrist would probably not accept this diagnosis has it was provide by a psychologist/psychotherapist (not a Psychiatrist) and done online.
Of which they might not be willing to trust the opinion and require to redo the diagnosis themselves before taking the responsability to provide treatment.

My experience with GAM Medical was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The entire ADHD diagnostic process was well-structured, professional, and supportive. From the very first contact, I felt taken seriously, and everything was explained clearly at each step. One thing that really stood out to me is their flexibility: although the appointment booking was in German, all my sessions were carried out in English without any issues. This was so important to me, because I know how difficult it can be to talk about emotions and struggles in a language that isn’t your own. If you don’t speak German, don’t be afraid to ask if they can offer the sessions in English – they were very understanding and accommodating.

The psychiatrist who handled my case was very kind, professional, and attentive. I always felt listened to and respected, which made the whole process much easier and more comfortable.

Before coming to GAM Medical, I had already experienced how frustrating it can be to wait months for a diagnosis through a Krankenkasse (public insurance) doctor, and I was honestly worried about how long it would take to finally get proper help. With GAM Medical, I was able to get an appointment very quickly, which gave me a lot of relief and peace of mind. On top of that, the pricing is very reasonable and, in my opinion, absolutely worth it for the quality and professionalism of the service.

I came away not only with clarity about my diagnosis but also with a real sense of support. I can highly recommend GAM Medical to anyone who is looking for an ADHD diagnosis and doesn’t want to spend months waiting and worrying.

Zusätzlich für deutschsprachige Leser: Ich habe meinen Termin bei GAM Medical sehr schnell bekommen – im Gegensatz zu den langen Wartezeiten, die man oft bei Krankenkassenärzten hat. Außerdem finde ich die Preise sehr fair und die Leistung absolut wert. Wer eine ADHS-Diagnose sucht, ist hier in guten Händen.

The communication with the team and therapists were perfect. I'm impressed by the professionalism and care. However, some gray areas were present regarding the procedure and additional sessions and how they are priced. Despite I've witnessed openness to find a solution, this process was stressful. Pricing, additional costs should've communicated better, more openly.

Life changing….

I found GAM Medical over an online add. I was pleasantly surprised how quick I was able to schedule appointments for everything. I felt compftable with Ms. Kaufmann from the beginning, even though I was very nervous at our first meeting. Everybody I talked to was very friendly, understanding and took their time to Listen.

I was initially skeptical about GAM Medical’s business model, but my experience was thoroughly positive. Scheduling was quick and easy, appointments were reliable, and the professionals I spoke with were competent, caring, and responsive. I received a clear ADHD diagnosis along with thoughtful guidance on therapy and medication options. Overall, a smooth and professional experience.

Professional and convenient service.

I began the path for a diagnosis in GAM Medical a few weeks ago. The whole process was lengthy (as it is normal to be) but thorough. One has to answer and fill many questionnaires first by themselves and then with the therapists, to complete the diagnosis.

During the sessions, plenty of space was dedicated to ask questions to better understand the process and the diagnose. Even between the sessions and after the last one, I was always given availability via email from the therapists, which is REALLY important, since one could always forget to ask things during the calls.

Overall, the whole experience was VERY good.

I have only one wish, which goes towards adapting the whole "GAM Medical" concept to offer "open diagnoses", instead of targeted ones, to better support neurodivergent people, since ADHD, Autism and other conditions may be co-occurring or misdiagnosed.
