I was thrilled with the support from the team in helping me locate a specific dress and shipping it on express to me whilst I was travelling. Their attention to detail and solutions saved the day and I am over the moon with my new dress. Had to share some praise as I’ve always had such a wonderful time shopping with their online store.
I can’t even give this company one star.
What an absolutely disgraceful so called company this is. Please, please do not buy from them.
I have however bought one of their items from Mytheresa and they have been brilliant to deal with.
The items come beautifully packed in tissue paper in a decent sized box, with hardly a crease in them.
I ordered a dress from Galvan on 28th July 2025, it arrived in a battered large box, the dress was on a cheap plastic hanger in an oversized suit cover, full of creases.
The dress was too large so l filled out the returns label and returned it on 8th August.
I was totally and absolutely shocked to receive an email from Galvan on 14th August saying that they wouldn’t be making a refund as there was a ‘pull’ on the neckline.
There was no snag when l sent it back. I tried it on without jewellery, makeup or cream.
They sent me pictures of the dress in their warehouse.
They are saying that l damaged the dress when l know full well l didn’t.
I have asked for evidence of their unpacking procedure, but once again they are putting all the blame on me.
The coat hanger is of extremely poor quality, so this could have caused the ‘pull’ whilst in transit.
Their warehouse has a table with sharp edges that could have caused the damage, there is a fire extinguisher which again could have caused it.
I opened mine on a bed and repacked it on a bed with no sharp edges.
I will take this to the small claims court, but this is not the hassle you want from buying a designer dress.
Someone needs to be held accountable for their actions.
In the meantime please do not buy online from this dreadful company.
Have had the most stressful and upsetting time dealing with this company. Wish I had checked all these reviews first as I have now been forced to go to Small Claims for the £3,190 I am owed!
Ordered two dresses as potential wedding dresses (had already tried them on in the bridal shop, but they said they were no longer going to stock them - now I see why!) So ordered them via galvanlondon.com.
First of all they didn't come - so I emailed asking to cancel (by this point, I had already found my wedding dress). Suddenly, they were magically "already shipped" so couldn't cancel. When they finally arrived I immediately returned them WITHOUT HAVING OPENED THE BOX (no point looking at the dresses or taking them out, I thought, just to return them!)
First of all I chased for days to see why they hadn't acknowledged the returns or issued a refund. Then I received an email saying I was due a refund and they'd issue it as soon as possible. Nothing. Chased more - nothing. Then they emailed (two weeks after receiving the return) saying they'd found damage to the dresses and wouldn't issue my confirmed refund!
I chased them, their phone number doesn't work, their store which was listed on their website doesn't exist, they weren't replying to my emails - I ended up going down to their offices and asking to speak to someone, whereupon their Head of Client Experience(!), threatened to have me escorted from the premises (I was literally sitting with a glass of water waiting for someone to come and discuss the issue with me).
They ended up sending me a load of random unattributable photos as "evidence", and stating they'll send the dresses back to me (not that I in any way wanted their damaged stock or anything to do with their dresses at this stage, but surprise, they did not ever send me any dresses back, damaged or not).
One thing I did manage to get from going to their offices was an actual contact number for this person. Guess what - it's not the number listed as their customer service phone number! If I can help anyone in the same position, I would like to, I honestly was having panic attacks and got really really anxious because I kept being told that what I knew WAS true (that I did not open the box or touch the dresses) was NOT true by these scammers. Not to mention it caused so much stress in the run up to my wedding (cost a huge chunk of my wedding budget!)
It also helped me to get responses when I messaged them on Instagram, although that might be because I have a lot of followers. It was the only way I could get any response.
COMPLETE SCAM ARTISTS. Clearly shady dealings are happening since Galvan London went into administration and were bought by another company so they now are officially Galvan International Ltd. I hope this review stops someone from buying from them!
- OH by the way this is the second time I've had to post this as Galvan got it taken down because it contained the name of their Head of Client Experience. You can find the name online (but heaven forbid you can find the Head of Client Experience's name in a review about Client Experience!) This is after they have not responded to my Letter Before Claim letting them know I will take them to Small Claims, or to my Claim. Absolutely no wish to actually resolve the situation but they work to get an honest review taken down. Honestly shocking. I wish I could put my personal experience in this review so people could reach out to me if they've had similar terrible experiences with this awful company.
The most unserious company I have ever encountered. Ordered the Pandora bridal dress, which was advertised as 71% ACETATE 29% VISCOSE. Received a dress in 100% polyester (plastic), more seethrough and "cheaper-looking" than the one I had previously tried on in a physical shop in Oslo. I sent the dress back and was told they would search the warehouse for the dress in the correct fabric. They eventually sent me a new dress in a more correct fabric (still not exactly as advertised, but better than polyester). I found the fit was off and sent it back February 10th. February 14th the return was received at the Galvan warehouse. After pushing on email I got a reply stating that they received the return 6th March. It is now more than 6 weeks since they received the return and I still have no refund. To make matters worse, there is no customer service - all phone numbers go straight to voicemail stating the "extention line is unavailable" (even the one for their physical stores). Their so-called "live chat" is never operational, and all you get is an auto reply stating "We apologize for keeping you waiting. Our customer service team is busy at the moment, please leave us a message with your email address and we'll get back to you shortly". And my emails has not been replied to since 6th of March. I am deeply frustrated and surprised by the chaotic experience, and truly expected more from what appears to be a high end brand. I will never shop at Galvan again, and would advise you all to think twice if you are considering making a purchase.

I returned something in the first week of January. Finally, on 7th March I received a refund. Keep at them, be persistent…..oh and buy your Galvan from My Theresa or Net a Porter to ensure you receive your goods/refund!
I recently ordered some clothing as a gift for my cousin’s birthday. The site said up to 5 business days for delivery - it’s now been 10 and no responses to emails or phone calls from their Customer Services team. Dreadful customer experience - will never buy from them again.
After 2 months I am still waiting for a refund for a dress I returned mid December. It has been confirmed as received and awaiting a refund but it has been 8 weeks and still no payment has been made! Of the many emails I have sent customer service, I received only one reply to say the item was well received. Nobody answers the phone and nobody replies to voicemails. Don’t expect to be able to buy anything online and return it. Such a shame for lovely designs that I can only dissuade people from a purchase.

Have owed me £2.5k for returned dresses which were accepted by them on 18 July 2024 but they HAVE NOT REFUNDED me for 3 months. Have emailed multiple times - they confirmed that they have received the refund but "are having some issues processing". I have called them and it goes to voicemail and they ghost my emails. SCAM OF A COMPANY WHO STEAL MONEY. Resorting to taking legal action and also raised a claim through Amex. BUYERS BEWARE!

My daughter bought a Galvan very expensive wedding dress online to try. Unfortunately it did not fit her.
She returned it and after chasing finally received an email from Galvan London saying they had received it in perfect condition and a full refund would be issued in 2 weeks from the date of receipt.
No money has arrived, despite emailing numerous times and calling. Emails go unanswered,
Luckily my daughter is a lawyer and will now be taking legal action.

Although Galvan products are beautiful, I would advise against making an online purchase. I'd go in store and try on to be certain first or buy through a third party stockist.
I ordered a dress from Galvan London and it never arrived. When I checked with UPS, they said that they hadn't received the full address from Galvan. At no point did I receive an update from Galvan London. I tried calling the number on the website but it was never answered. After a long time, my email was finally answered. I did eventually receive a refund for the dress that I had never received. As I needed the dress for a wedding, I decided to order again. The dress did arrive this time, but as it didn't work, I sent it back. I saw that the dress had arrived back at the location, but I had not been refunded, so after several days I contacted the company again. It was difficult to get a response as usual. They initially said that yes, they had received the item, and the refund would be processed between 2-5 business days. When this hadn't happened, I contacted them again and the latest has been that I have been told that they are currently unable to process the refund, but hope to this week and will let me know if they can´t do this.
My wife purchased a dress for the evening of our wedding. When the box arrived it was damaged but the dress inside seemed ok. In the end she decided it wasn't right so we sent it back. Galvan then claimed we had damaged it, which we hadn't. We showed them the damaged box and they reluctantly offered us a credit but not a refund. Really poor service for a high end brand. Online Buyers beware!
