I was tricked by galleytrend.com and they charged my credit card.
I wrote them an email and they responded quickly. They try to black mail me, this is what they wrote:
Dear Sir,
I am personally representing the Escalation Team regarding your case, which has been assigned to me for a final review.
After carefully reviewing everything, I have approved a refund of the charged amount to the same account you used for your purchase. This is an exception specifically made for your situation, as I wanted to ensure you are completely satisfied with this experience.
To close your case in our database and mark it as resolved, we kindly ask you to share your feedback about your experience with me by leaving a short review on Trustpilot. Your feedback will not only help me resolve your case successfully but also show other customers that they can rely on us when they need support.
Here's how to leave a review:

Disgusting, it's unbelievable that they are on trustpilot with a positive review score. How is that possible? Trustpilot claims it trustworthy....
This is what I wrote to them:
Your recent message confirms my concerns about the fraudulent nature of your operation. You have taken €46.04 from my credit card without authorization. Now you attempt to make repayment conditional upon me posting a positive review on Trustpilot.
Let me be very clear:
A refund of an unauthorized charge is a legal obligation, not a favor and certainly not something that can be tied to positive publicity.
Linking repayment to a “5-star review” constitutes review manipulation and consumer fraud.
This email will be forwarded to my bank, card issuer, the Dutch Police, the Cyprus Police Cyber Crime Unit (cybercrime(at)police.gov.cy), the European Consumer Centre Cyprus (ecccyprus(at)meci.gov.cy), and Trustpilot’s compliance department (compliance(at)trustpilot.com) as evidence of your practices.
You are hereby formally demanded to:
1. Refund the full €46.04 immediately, without conditions, to the same credit card account.
2. Confirm in writing that the refund has been processed.
If you fail to comply within 48 hours, I will escalate this matter through:
Formal chargeback procedures with my credit card company (which are already underway);
Criminal and regulatory complaints in both the Netherlands and Cyprus;
Public reporting of your attempts to manipulate reviews and defraud customers.
This is your final warning. Any further communication that attempts to make repayment conditional will only strengthen my case against you.

Can you take notice of the fraudulent activities of galleytrend.com and the blackmailing that they use and take appropriate action?
Dear compliance team, can you take action and remove the positive reviews of galleytrend.com from your website as per your policy?
