I have purchased a number of items now

I have purchased a number of items now, latest being another pair of bib shorts. The clothing is exceptional quality, packaging is excellent and the customer service is first class - value added freebies and a personal message from the team with every offer I have made. A very happy customer here and highly recommend.

Crazy bang for a buck

So I ordered a few items from Galibier last week: Bib, Jersey, Base, Jacket, etc. It arrived 7 days later at my place in Germany with good packaging. If DHL wasn’t terrible at the moment, it probably would have arrived earlier… I spend tons of money for cycling and usually buy Assos, Ryzon or Rapha… the quality of the Galibier items match the quality of those mentioned above pretty easily. The fit from the sizing chart is quite accurate, so I don‘t need to return anything. I can’t say anything about the longevity of the clothes yet…
To put it in a nutshell: Very decent quality for a third of the price of other premium brands. Very nice! Thanks a lot to the Galibier Team! (And thanks for the socks for free! Very cool of you guys)

Excellent experience with this company

I bought Barrier Deep Winter cycling gloves. Although not quite winter yet and therefore still to be put to the full test, so far, I am very pleased with them. Well made, very warm, an excellent price in comparison to other brands and delivery took only a couple of days. So all very good.

Great quality excellent customer service

Ordered a cycling top which arrived promptly and the product was great quality. Excellent customer service, I have just ordered more gear based on this purchase. As I am 6'3 and 16 stone I struggle to get the right fit as most companies seem to be based on 5'8 65Kilo cyclists, refreshing to get good gear that fits, well done.

Great product, top service

Nice attention to detail with the old school stitched-on but unobtrusive badge on the sleeve. Excellent price, nicely packaged, with a personal note and snood from the company. Highly recommended all round.

Honestly, these guys are fantastic

Honestly, this brand are incredible. I ordered some bib shorts late on a Monday evening (bank holiday too) and they arrived by Wednesday morning! I left a note on the order saying I really needed them by Thursday and they clearly went the extra mile to ensure I had them. Will definitely be using them again!

Grand Tour gilet

Received my Grand Tour gilet and it’s really as good a the bigger brands such as Castelli Endurance and at a fraction of the price.
The service and help from the team at Galibier is second to none. They also sent me a free set of gloves very generous.
I have other pieces of Galibier kit and it’s all very well made and is serving me well in all weathers.
It’s so good to see such excellent customer service from a team that goes the extra mile to please its customers.
My advice is to try their products you won’t be disappointed

Deep Winter gloves

I have bought a number of items from Galibier now and have nothing but praise. These gloves are superb quality - and the small touches on the care label (warm hands warm heart you are amazing) are lovely.
Great company to deal with.

I had a unsavoury reply from Galibier

I had a reply (after I should add many attempts to seek help) from Galibier and approximately 12 months from first communication,stating that I demanded a free replacement zip. What a falsehood !!
Old E mails show Aug 2023 communication, and I have a letter from Susanne telling me that my jersey was 2yrs old and informed me that I would be charged, and I was very happy with this.
So this is utterly false !! I liked my cycling jersey so much in terms of fit and weather proof that I wanted to offer them first dibs at replacing the zip
1.Because their web site claimed this was a service offered
2. I wanted it done properly with an OEM Vs generic zip.
Money was NOT an issue.
I have been on the GMC registration for 40 years with NO PROBITY issues so I take great offence at this accusation.
Maleficient company who may be struggling ?

Thermal Gloves that are far from Thermal

Bought "thermal" gloves as winter was coming on. Thermal they ain't. Supposed to be good for down to -3*. Was out today at 6* and my fingers were cold when I came back after 40 mins. Because they look like the gloves I was replacing, I previously mistakenly wore a Galibier glove on one hand and my old glove on the other. This was at -3*. The fingers n my Galibier glove were so cold they hurt but were bearable in my old glove. Reported this to Galibier. Silence. Hence leaving a review.
P.S. Their overshoes aren't fully waterproof either.

Poor customer service

The customer service from this company is appalling. I ordered an item, which was straight forward, until I noticed the address was incorrect. I instantly emailed them to change the address, no reply, emailed again no reply. No sign of parcel although had email to say it had been sent.6days later still no response, so raised a dispute with PayPal and reordered. 5 more days later after receiving 2nd order, still no sign of first order, had an email from Myles who basically told me he was a small family run business who was not impressed with my PayPal dispute, and told me don’t order from us again! How rude. I did suggest that if he didn’t want complaints then respond to queries. To say it bluntly, I definitely won’t be ordering from them again! I’m shocked it’s still a functioning company after reading the above reviews.

First garment

Purchased my first garment from this company (Grand tour jacket) and it is fantastic. Warm, comfortable and excellent pockets. The Heather is a great colour and there was a pleasant surprise addition in the package. Would certainly recommend.

I'm unfortunately one of the many…

I'm unfortunately one of the many customers that purchased a few items from them and have been really happy but had a bad experience and been met with poor customer service ..... boy do they not like anyone complaining.... or have an issue with a garment.

I'm also a bit annoyed I left good reviews in past but after being let down I left a 3 star review and they took it down . That's why I dropped this another star.

Will I buy from them again...... yeh I probably will because the quality of my other stuff is spot on and money very reasonable but for goodness sake don't bother ever complaining

Gaining customers is one thing, keeping them is another

I’ve bought hundreds of pounds of gear from Galibier and have advocated for them to friends and fellow cyclists. No longer. They fulfil orders brilliantly but put the hands over their ears when it comes to unexpected faults and breakdowns in their gear. Symptoms of a business that is struggling to cope with early, well-earned, success or is starting, like so many companies , to believe it’s own bs rather than well-intentioned customer feedback. What a shame.

Poor response from Customer Service

The response from Customer Service was a very unprofessional one - I emailed regarding bib shorts which started to fray (not at the hem) after about 12 - 15 relatively short cycles and included photo. I explained that I had other brand bib shorts that were used much more and that I did not have any problem. The smart response from Myles was to stick to the other brands as they appeared to suit better. Smart response and not the type of response one would expect from, what I thought was a professional company. Their customer service is great when it comes to fulfilling orders etc. but a different issue if problems arise.

Premium pair of bib shorts for a…

Premium pair of bib shorts for a non-premium price! Delivery was fast, they even included a free pair of socks - clearly a business that really cares about their customers and their product. Definitely plan to buy from here again.
