I so want to love this, and from other reviews I can only assume my experience is a one-off. Ordered March 29th and didn't receive my order until May 12th. Appreciate the whole point is that it's not fast fashion, but there must be a midway point between receiving something next day and having to wait 7 weeks. It was a birthday gift (ordered with 4 weeks to spare) so returned it once received. Opted for a gift card refund as I love the style of dresses and the quality was good. Once the return was sorted I went back onto the site to buy something else, but to my surprise prices had nearly doubled(!). Reason being that they now cover import duties to the UK (previously I paid the courier). Considering I paid £30 import duty, it didn't justify why some dresses had increased by over £100. I have asked customer service what can be done as I now can't buy anything with my gift card unless I spend more money. Had an automated AI response with 60 seconds advising me a real team member would get in touch to help. That was 5 days ago. If you're selling £300 dresses you have to at the very least be able to respond to customer enquiries within 24 hours.

I have ordered several pieces from Gaala over time, I am a regular client, and every experience has been great. The quality is consistently outstanding, each item feels carefully crafted, one can truly sense the care that go into the making of every garment. What I value most is that Gaala is not just a brand, but it feels like a familiar, human project. There's a deep respect for craftsmanship and ethical production, and it shows in the details: the stitching, the fabrics, the timeless cuts, Etc. I truly value contributing to a boutique that brings together fine detailing and ageless clothing. Gaala continues to inspire, and I’m always looking forward to their new designs. They have a very particular way of maintaining the new always timeless —this to me is what makes it special—. As for the waiting time in the delivery, in my opinion it's worth waiting, for the items are pampered and made progressively; it's a local boutique and growing brand, not a massive producer. The anticipation of receiving my dresses, the waiting per se, is a part of the feminine joy of purchasing. To dismiss a Galaa garment because pre-ordering/waiting inconvenience in my viewpoint is like preferring instant messaging over a handwritten-loving letter —some clients nowadays sadly forget that human-made quality things require time.

I have ordered with Gaala 6 times already over the past 2 years and I am very satisfied with the rapid delivery and beautiful quality of their garments.
Many of Gaala pieces are produced in Belarus - my home country. The fabrics are truly luxury - you cannot find this quality with cheap fast fashion brands.

Moreover, the customer carecis always reactive to help with recommendations about size and so on. The experience on their website is also very pleasant.

I bought my wedding dress from this store, and I have to say—it’s absolutely beautiful and looked stunning on the big day. The craftsmanship is excellent and the dress is very well made.
However, I’m giving 4 stars because the delivery was delayed by about 3 weeks, which caused me a lot of stress. I was informed the delay would be up to 2 weeks, and after contacting customer service, I was told it would arrive by May 3rd or 4th at the latest. Unfortunately, it didn’t arrive until May 12th—just two days before we were flying to Poland for the wedding.
Another issue was the sizing. The dress was supposed to be made to measure, but it was far off from my actual measurements. I expected to need minor alterations, but this was much more than that. I have no idea how that happened. I had to scramble last-minute to find a seamstress who could make it fit in time.
So while the dress itself was gorgeous and of high quality, the experience was stressful due to the delay and sizing issues.

As long as you read the measurements for each item, and check the fabric content, Gaala will not disappoint. Not only are their clothes beautiful, with amazing tailored cuts and clean seams, but they are also durable. I have worn one of their wool coats at least 150 times in the past two years and it's only now showing some wear from my backpack straps. The packaging is beautiful, with nice cotton bags for clothing storage during the off-season. The rose-petal fabric is soft, though be warned, it smells like you just walked into a rose garden! No need to wear perfume with this one. Please note, all my items were of natural fibers, I can't speak to the quality of synthetics.

I received the dress just over 2 weeks from the day I ordered it. The dress is beautifully made and looks long lasting. The packaging was very lovely and, given this dress will be my wedding dress, it felt extra special. Only thing to note for UK shoppers is that it cost me just over £40 in import tax.

My first order was fine except for the return process which took way longer than what Gaala promises. It took so long that Klarna even contacted me and asked me what was going on. Only when Klarna then contacted Gaala did they finally process the return.
My second order was a complete disaster. I ordered on January 8th. The next day I received a shipment confirmation. I was surprised because the items were made-to-order but I didn't think much of it because I trusted that Gaala knows what they are doing.
13 days later I still hadn't received the package but Gaala had already notified Klarna of the shipment and so Klarna counted down the 30-day payment period. I contacted Gaala and apparently there was a problem with the system. It turned out that there never was a shipment. Okay, mistakes can happen. But because Gaala notified Klarna about the supposed shipment, Klarna wouldn't stop counting down the days. Gaala wouldn't help me with that situation and so I had to open up a problem in my Klarna account to stop the payment period.
Early February the exact same thing happened. I was notified of a shipment only to find out a week later that this was again a mistake and that the items will take a lot longer to be shipped than was initially promised.
On February 15th I received the first two items. I didn't like the quality at all so I wanted to initiate a return. The system wouldn't let me though because the 30-day return period was over (which only happened because Gaala mistakenly marked my order as shipped on January 9th and did not correct this mistake in their own system). I contacted Gaala and they opened up the system again so that I could initiate the return but they recommended that I wait until I received the last item.
This wasn't until March 4th. It took 2 months (and three separate packages because the delay between the items was so huge). The next day I initiated the return. As with my first order, it took Gaala way longer to process the return than what they promise. Again, Klarna contacted me and asked me what was going on.
On April 10th the return had finally been processed. It has been 4 months since I ordered with Gaala. I had to send countless messages to them and to Klarna to resolve the many issues that came up.
To be fair, I have to say that the customer service always quickly replies. Also, the 5€ return costs were waived in my case (only after I asked for this but still).
P.S.: A friend of mine also ordered from Gaala and had similar problems. Gaala notified Klarna about a shipment that never took place and Klarna naturally started counting down the payment period. Gaala claims that they can't contact Klarna about any problems so the customer has to resolve everything themself. The items of my friend's order are also heavily delayed and she still doesn't know when and if they will ever be shipped.

I am quite happy with the quality of the Gaala items I have purchased. I have bought some linen dresses and a silk dress from Gaala, as well as some coats. The dresses are beautiful, feminine and elegant in design and I’m very happy with the quality of the warm wool material used for the coats.
Darya has also been very helpful in answering my queries and has provided great customer service.
However, one thing I would recommend for Gaala is to get rid of the use of the Virtual Assistant which generates automated replies. I’m sure many customers would prefer to receive a response from a real person rather than an AI bot.
The other feedback I have is that 2 of the coats I received came with some minor defects. The trench coat I ordered came with a hole in one of the pockets, and the wool coat I received arrived with a loose button. If quality control checks could be done more thoroughly to prevent these issues, that would be greatly appreciated.

My first experience with Gaala was buying one of their dresses in the summer of 2024. They helped me choose the size, and since the dress had to be made (after my purchase—which is something I love about them), and it was delayed, they sent an apology. I really appreciated that. The dress was beautifully tailored, with a timeless silhouette that made me feel effortlessly elegant.
In the winter of 2025, I bought a wool sweater (after secretly fantasizing about it since fall). It is soft, warm and versatile.
The craftsmanship is amazing—the materials, attention to detail, and, most importantly, the communication and overall experience. I also love their commitment to slow fashion—it makes everything feel even more special. Their clothes are a part of my vision board, and I’m looking forward to investing in my wardrobe with their pieces in the future.

I placed my order on February 4, 2025, and I was told that pre-order items would take 3–5 weeks, while in-stock items would ship within a week. However, it's now been over 7 weeks, and I have received nothing.
What’s even more frustrating is that I only got an update after 7 weeks, saying they don’t know when the order will be delivered, and that it might arrive sometime next month. This is extremely disappointing.
The lack of transparency, delayed communication, and failure to deliver even the in-stock items is really unacceptable. I expected much more from Gaala.

I purchased my elopement dress from Gaala and I couldn't be happier. The dress is so perfect, the silk is buttery soft and every seam is expertly sewn. Their customer service were personal, approachable and most importantly, human.
I love Gaala's mission to create beautiful, feminine, timeless clothing designed to be cherished for a lifetime and I will treasure my dress and hopefully pass it down to my daughter some day.

It all started with just one dress (Ginette) and it hasn't stopped :) I have 15 beautiful pieces from Gaala with 6 more that are currently being made (and will hopefully reach me by the end of next month). Everything is so exquisite that I actively search for more social events so to be able to wear them and feel the way only a Dina tweed dress or a Lena silk blouse can make me feel. Hopefully the quality will remain as high and then my entire wardrobe can be filled with all the luxurious clothes it deserves. I will happily make some photos next time I wear something from this favourite brand of mine and post them here.

I have ordered 6 items from Gaala. I love the philosophy of the company, I love the clothes I have received. They are so beautiful and made with lovely fabrics. It’s very nice to get something you’ve ordered online and have it excede your expectations. I would mention that while the customer service is kind and prompt, it can be frustrating. I had to ask the same questions several times to get issues resolved. This happened more than once. Overall I am super happy I found this brand and would advise patience with any issues.
