Took G3 to court and .....WON

Won a 73 plate Audi A3, 3 months old, 2500 mile. Has some minor damage on bumpers and alloys. Had a fully ticked green assured report..NO FAULTS. Paid 21k for the car. We picked the car up no 2nd gear other gears difficult to get obviously a damaged gearbox.
1st You only have three days to report a problem (from the time of the hammer)
2nd put a online compliant to G3 asap ( l did two before the warranty period was up) in total i issued six online complaints.
Took the car straight to a independent garage and then Audi all in the first 48 hours.
G3 IGNORED OR SAID THEY WERE NOT RESPONSIBLE TO ALL MY ONLINE COMPLAINTS.
They ignored my letters on intended court action and only replied when the court got in touch with them, the reply was 'if l pursue this action l will be counted and costs will be included'
They hired a solicitor to fight there case and presented there defence. Although l did not have a clue how to do this l went online and continued with the claim. We finally went to court 18 month later, the solicitor prepared there case but they represented themselves...very poorly l may had.
l won the case and G3 had to pay just under 5000 pounds including my fees which l paid out.
NOTE If this was a normal auction l would not have stood a chance BUT G3 supply an ASSURED REPORT which you pay for plus if you put a complaint in part of the t&c'S THEY HAVE TO TAKE THE CAR BACK FOR INSPECTION, they failed to do this so l won the case. We didn't even get to the faults missed on the assured report which i would have thought would also go against them.
PS The car turned out in the end to be a right bargain so thanks to the snakes at G3 (Corocan and Short : )))

Misleading Inspection Report

Misleading Inspection Report – No Accountability from G3 Auctions

I had an extremely disappointing experience with G3 Auctions. I bought a car based on their inspection report, which claimed the vehicle had no issues. However, when I collected the car, I found that the clutch was completely gone — a serious and obvious mechanical fault that should have been clearly identified and reported.

To make matters worse, I contacted G3 immediately, and they refused to cancel the purchase or offer any form of resolution. Their response was dismissive and unhelpful, leaving me to deal with a costly repair on a car I had just bought, under false pretenses.

This level of negligence and lack of accountability is unacceptable. I expected at least a minimum level of honesty and support — instead, I was met with indifference. I would strongly advise others to be extremely cautious when dealing with G3 Auctions. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend them at all.

Poor show

Purchased a vehicle. No drivers arm rest. Inspection report says nothing and limited photos shown. Cost to replace arm £395 + VAT.
Spoke to G3 who do not want to know and pointed me at the 360 photo which was very dark and hard to make out.
Very disappointed, no customer service, no good will gesture, no meet in the middle, just a total washing of hands.
Also, the usual guy I deal with has moved positions and has not responded to my emails in over a week and not told me that he is no longer is in the same dept.!

Not for risk averse buyers- most cars…

Not for risk averse buyers- most cars have no service history many owners and no V5 - appraisals do favour the sellers- assured is meaningless they simply reject complaints coming back with nonsense- do not buy or buy over a grand under book value -

Would give no stars

Would give no stars. Delivering a van and needed to use toilet after a long drive only to be told I could not use them as they were for staff. Guy said drive u the toad to the auction building where they have toilets. Also said they had to clean their own toilets , though not sure when as they were all stuck in their cabin doing sweet f.a.Not the only time my experience here has been less than courteous!!!. Need to send all staff on a course in politeness. Avoid if necessary, BCA or Mannheim far more forthcoming with treating you like normal human kindness.

I bought 2 cars from G3 in Bedford at almost market price. When they were delivered to me, both cars had major mechanical damage, one to the gearbox and the other to the clutch. the auctions are rigged and raise their bids as most cars get sold at market price once the g3 fee is included. stay away from these scammers.

G3 AUCTIONS does not take their customers into consideration, they misrepresent and false advertise their cars and do not offer fair contributions.
I do not recommend purchasing cars from this auction. I have purchased plenty of cars from OTHER auctions and issues which I had were resolved fairly and quickly, with G3 this is not the case.
