Good afternoon, Mr McGowan,
We had attended your property on 07/11/2022 following a boiler service request. The service was booked in for 2-5pm, to which the engineer had attended and completed his service, along with taking his flue analysis readings. Nothing out of the ordinary was noted on the CP12, and we had spoken with the engineer who informed us that no faults were identified during the service.
The boiler would have been drained for him to top the pressure vessel up, but the PRV wouldn’t have been touched.
Looking on our database system, I can see you had contacted us on 08/11 stating the water pressure on the boiler was low. We had arranged with yourself to attend 9-11am to check over the boiler and get the heating working again. During this visit, the engineer had found that the PRV was letting by and dripping water which was causing the pressure to drop.
Checking for the specific version of PRV due to the different models and age of boiler, we had provided a quote which was sent out for confirmation. Following the call attempts made to speak with a manager, I’m unsure of what was said, and why the manager never called back.
We are sorry you feel this way, as we do everything we can get to the heating and hot water working for every property we attend.
