Sales staff in Gateshead Metro Centre store fine. Received a 3 piece suite which is damaged and faulty. Technician (who claims not to work for Furniture Village) came out a week after delivery. After Sales Centre - unable to get a manager to return my calls. They claim some of the issues not excessive. How can wonky stitching, dent in front, lack of padding, scratches and blemishes in the leather and excessive pooling on the seats not constitute faulty goods - regardless of whether it's manufacturing faults or damage in transit. Mixed messages and appalling customer service. Have now sent right to refuse letters to both store and After Sales as getting no where on the phone - just want the goods out of house and a refund. Buyers beware - sales staff may be fine - goods shoddy and after sales appalling. If no joy within 14 days looks like we are off to County Court!

When I called Furniture Collection they answered all my questions and some things I hadn't even thought of so I felt fully informed about the item I was looking at, and the delivery process.

When the chest of drawers arrived I was delighted with it. What a great experience for my first time buying furniture online! I won't hesitate to buy from them again.

After placing my order the company called me back to tell me that my chosen piece would take approximately a week longer than expected to come in as it was a Reproduction piece and timescales were dependent on the specific item. I said that was absolutely fine as I wanted this particular piece of furniture (quite hard to find the one I wanted), and they explained that I would not be charged until my item of furniture came in and was ready to be dispatched. I am now the proud owner of a lovely reproduction cabinet/bookcase.

I placed my furniture order online. I later received an email confirming my order and I was updated whenever the status of my order changed (by the same person, prompting me to call that same person if I should have any queries along the way). I was then contacted by the courrier so they could delivery my furniture at an appropriate time. The driver was very helpful and the furniture arrived within the specified time.

I'm now convinced that ordering furniture online really does work. Straightforward, no hassle and I didn't even have to leave home. Oh, and I'm really pleased with the furniture.

I chose a 'Made to Order' piece and was more than happy to wait the 6 weeks delivery time so I could have the furniture customised to my preference (paint colour and finish). It (the Calgary painted bookcase, I think) was very reasonably priced for a quality piece and Now I won't have my friends saying, 'Oh we have one of those too'!!

Our furniture store in town used to take about 8 weeks just to get a bog standard piece in.

I found the ordering process to be simple, the courrier called me to arrange a suitable delivery time and my furniture arrived in the estimated delivery time.

Hassle free and I avoided the busy crowds I usually have to negotiate to go shopping. I recommend this company.

I was really impressed with the service I received when I called to find out a little more about an oak chest of drawers. I was given as much detail as possible about the product and they were helpful and knowledgeable . I ordered the chest of drawers online and was pleasantly surprised when the delivery was arranged for 3 weeks after I ordered instead of the 4 weeks stated on the website.

I recommend that you ask for Barry when you pick up the phone as he really looked after me and couldn't have been more helpful. You can feel assured that you will be in safe hands if you order from Furniture Collection.

I was directed to this website to look for a bed for my son who was returning from abroad. I was amazed how easy it was to navigate my way through the website & found just the bed I was looking for in next to no time. On contacting the company my enquiry was dealt with very efficiently but with a friendly approach. My bed was delivred within the time specified.
All in all I would certainly use this company again.

After having real problems with another online supplier (see my review) I contacted Furniture Collection. They advertised the item I wanted -a Kudos TV stand at £5 less than the other supplier. I got an honest reply-the item could be ordered but would take at least 2 months to arrive from the makers. I would not be asked for any money until the item was ready for delivery. All happened as promised. Apart from a small hiccup with the couriers, who didn't leave a message on my phone and so delayed my delivery by a few days, everything went smoothly. The TV stand is superb, exactly as described. Furniture Collection kept in touch until completion, excellent customer service. The delivery driver was courteous and helpful and arrived within the specified time-slot.
I can recommend this firm, they deserve your custom!
