Mum and I just wanted to drop you a line or two to say a very big thank you to you and your team for everything you did at Dad's funeral yesterday. The whole thing was completely seamless from start to finish. We really appreciated your helpful insights, kind words and thoughtfulness. It was never going to be an easy day for us but, between you and Rob, you certainly made it the best it could have been.

Nick Armstrong & his team provide an absolutely first class service & I would recommend them unreservedly. From the moment my husband Ian was collected from the hospice I felt that he was in safe hands. Every member of staff was extremely kind, helpful, sensitive & compassionate from the word go, nothing was too much trouble.

Michelle went above & beyond in making sure that he had the send off he deserved,from finding the right plane for the front cover of the service sheet to knowing that Penelope was exactly the right transport for him. She made the whole process as stress free as possible by taking the time to really get to know both him & us.

Visits to see Ian in the chapel of rest were peaceful, dignified & respectful. I especially appreciated that he was able to keep his Christmas throw & cushion with him whilst he rested; the wooden hearts to write on are a lovely touch! A heartfelt thank you too to Claire, who always made us feel so welcome.

Nicks reassurance & support over dealing with a potentially disruptive family situation,together with Michelle’s guidance & understanding through the hardest thing I’ve ever had to deal with, resulted in a beautiful service & a real celebration of the man I love.

The seeds provided on the day & the tree planted locally in his memory (which I’d forgotten about until the certificate arrived!) are lovely touches!

A truly first class family service which looks after both you & your loved one as if you were one of their own. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Armstrong’s dealt with our mother’s funeral arrangements just seven months prior, so we knew they would handle everything with kindness and sensitivity, making an incredibly difficult time a little easier to bear. What we found impressive was their anticipation of our needs and going that extra mile for us. We cannot thanks Armstrongs enough for guiding us through the arrangements for our dads funeral recently. From the initial meeting with Oliver through to the day itself was flourless. From my first contact, Fiona was helpful, conscientious and understanding. Everything was explained and arranged perfectly. The chapel of rest was beautifully set up and we were given all the time we needed. On the day, Nick was brilliant, he put us all at ease, explained every step and made a difficult day much easier. Foy, delivered the eulogy perfectly. We can now look back on this as a real celebration of Sue's life. Many thanks to all involved.

We had an excellent service for my father.We have used Oscar many years ago for my mother in laws funeral, so my mother wanted to use Armstrong as we knew we would be very well looked after. Certainly a 5 star experience. Michelle as the administrator was extremely efficient but also very kind and caring. Nick Armstrong lead the service and together with limo drivers and pallbearers were very professional and a calming influence on a difficult day for the friends and family. I would strongly recommend Armstrongs, a family run funeral business rather than the commercialised choices.

Armstrongs give bereaved families a very fitting and meaningful final tribute to their loved ones. The care from both Lewis the Funeral Director and John the Celebant who led the service for our recently departed Mum was exceptional. Throughout the whole process we were carefully looked after and no request was too much trouble. The service was perfect, Mum’s Casket Spray was absolutely beautiful and all arrangements left a lasting impression with those who attended both in person and using the online link.

Great care was taken from the moment we discussed the funeral with Armstrongs. Every assistance was given to making sure that all went well with my wife's funeral. Michelle worked with me throughout, and Rob Head conducted the service with skill and committment. All the staff involved were great, showing dignity, professionalism and care throughout. All persons who came to the funeral were very complimentary about the service. I used this company previously for my father's funeral, and I feel that I chose the right Funeral Service again. Would recommend Armstrongs to all and sundry.

The care we received as a grieving family by the team at Armstrongs was wonderful. We were able to visit my deceased brother whilst he was in their care on several evenings (as we all work full time) and the team never made us feel like we were putting them out how ever long we wanted to stay. This was especially comforting for my nephews (his sons). My brother died in the hospital in Manchester but his wishes were to be laid to rest back in Bury St. Edmunds where we all live and he previously lived, we found out that Darren, who went and collected him, shared a love of Leeds United football club with my brother and Darren went above and beyond getting the program from the match which my brother got a mention in - sorted out by my nephews! And even gave him a special scarf so we could keep his one after the service. The service itself was beautiful and ran very smoothly which is what you want at such a special last tribute to your loved one. Thank you all again, you’re all amazing.
