Hard to get hold of the support.
I have been trying to get my test once again, no real support in there to help until it got passed, they attempted to a chanrgeback to get there $36 , then no communication after that even i was able to see it happen in my bank account. and until now, the retest is not something they offered yet to fix their Tech stack and non communication on deadline !

Got the results and suggestions to improve my health in a decent amount of time. Now it's up to me to reach the goals set.

Overall solid tool and it’s helped identify focus areas for me as I tack my health carefully. Not sure if I will renew. Three reason for 2 stars:
1) you pretty much never talk to a person; it’s all AI driven. Would be nice to speak with someone live
2) huge upsell - lots of additional tests that get presented to you in money grab fashion. Expect to pay more than the base fee for additional tests that seem tempting
3) Ezra who they partner with for CT scans / MRI is an absolute disaster. They totally screwed up two CT / CAC scans so far (ie could not get accurate reading; scheduling mistake on their side). Their customer service is abhorrent. Never use them for anything.

The bloodwork appointment was easy, everything at the lab was seamless and efficient. Results came in quickly, and were easy to understand. The analysis of the results was extremely detailed and very helpful. I learned a tremendous amount about my health and how I could improve it. Highly recommend!

Clear communication and detailed instructions.

Relatively easy to initiate service and follow instructions for labs. Clinicians notes provide suggestions that help in making decisions. AI chat is helpful by answering specific questions.

The basic concept and service is reasonably good. The biggest issue I have is customer support. There is no number you can call to speak with a human. Their AI chat is useless, as it can't answer anything you couldn't figure out on your own. When it realizes you need an agent, it tells you to go about your day, and they'll answer you. HOWEVER, they don't answer you. Although the service seems legit, it unfortunately feels really shady to have a medical service that has no support. And very frustrating for something akin to concierge medicine. In this case, I'm trying to schedule a test I paid for a few months ago that I don't seem to have access for scheduling. So not getting back to me for something I paid doesn't feel good.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Tried twice to get a
Grail cancer test, but the lab they used did not the right collection tubes. To make matters worse, Function would not send them to me, which would have solved the problem. I’m not using them again.

I feel the business gives me excellent feedback and information with quick and easy access to the help
I need. Thank you.

This is my second year using FunctionHealth and I love it! I have been recommending everyone I know to use it, I have already learned a lot about what I needed to adjust in my life to get healthier, and I noticed a difference in my second year!

Complete functional health testing with good explanation of what is wrong and actionable steps on how to fix it all

Great value and comprehensive. I highly recommend this testing for anyone that wants insight and planning when it comes to health.

I love the amount of blood tests I get for my money. The value is amazing. The clinician’s notes are thorough and quick. A lot of extra notes explaining what it all means and the recommendations for diet and supplements are very helpful.

I signed up for Function because my primary care couldn’t order the labs I needed for working with my integrative medicine provider. It gave me more that I was expecting and for a cheaper price! I really appreciated the AI function to develop protocols. I like that there are actions to take, not just results with nothing to do about it.

Just paid the enrollment fee and trying to book the appt has been a nightmare. You cannot change your state/location even if there are no labs available. I have been trying to find someone/anyone to respond to my emails so I can book asap at another location. The chat function is not working on my account - it just says "couldnt send". Phone number is voicemail only. I just want my money back at this point.

I love the quick results and the tips on how to do better.

This has been a great resource for my health and a tremendous value. The app and website function well and continue to be a useful resource.
