The trip to Sardinia was incredible! Sardinia is so beautiful, I didn't want to leave! It was the perfect combination of relaxation, food, culture, fun and good vibes! I feel like the timeline of all the activities and free time was planned perfectly- it was exactly what I was looking for. I loved all the activities, but my favorite day was our boat day in Cala Gonone- the views were breathtaking! Our guide Pi was amazing! She truly gave us a wonderful experience. She was warm and welcoming and extremely helpful throughout every single aspect of our trip! 10/10 I would highly recommend anyone to take this trip!!!!

This trip was by far one of my favorites! Incredible views, activities, food, etc. Pi was an incredible tour guide, so much fun and made the trip easy, exciting and relaxing! I’d highly reccomend the Sardinia tour and would love to have Pi as a tour guide again!!

My husband and I recently traveled to Sardinia with FTLO, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. We visited Cagliari, Cala Gonone, and Alghero, each offering its own unique charm, breathtaking scenery, and incredible food.

A huge part of what made this trip so special was our trip leader, Piera “Pi”. She was warm, organized, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. Her enthusiasm for Sardinia was contagious, and she went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt welcome and had a great time.

The itinerary was the perfect mix of adventure, culture, and relaxation. Highlights included a beautiful beach day, an amazing food walking tour, a visit to an olive oil farm, a catamaran excursion with stunning coastal views, and a hands-on pasta-making class. Every meal seemed better than the last, and the scenery throughout the trip was absolutely breathtaking.

Between the delicious food, beautiful landscapes, unique experiences, and the incredible guidance from Pi, this trip exceeded all expectations.

I would highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for a memorable adventure in Italy. Sardinia completely stole our hearts, and we can’t wait to return!

​I recently returned from an incredible trip to Seville and Mallorca and I can't recommend it enough. The itinerary offered a great mix of active hiking, unique cultural activities and plenty of time to just wander and explore small towns. I formed strong connections with others in the group, which made the shared experiences even more meaningful.
​But truly our trip leader, Jordana, made the trip what it was. She was an absolute star. She was incredibly flexible with everyone’s needs and genuinely cared that we got to see and experience the best of what Spain has to offer. Her warmth, leadership and dedication made the entire experience. The trip wouldn’t have been the same without her.

The Budapest, Vienna, and Prague trip was absolutely incredible! Not only were the cities beautiful and the activities thoughtfully planned, but our guide, Arpi, truly went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt comfortable, included, and had a great experience.

Arpi was enthusiastic, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. His energy and passion made the trip even more enjoyable, and he was always willing to help however he could. You could tell he genuinely cared about making the experience special for everyone.

The accommodations in each city were excellent, and the local guides we had for city tours and site visits were fantastic as well. Everything was well organized, and it was the perfect balance of sightseeing, culture, and fun.

I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to experience these three amazing cities. I would absolutely recommend this trip to anyone considering it.

I just returned from Sardinia (my seventh trip with FTLO), and all I can say is WOW! The trip and itinerary exceeded my expectations, which were already high due to my previous experiences with the company. I am constantly blown away by FTLO’s ability to create thoughtfully planned itineraries and work with the most amazing tour leaders, local guides, and activity providers.

Our group was especially lucky to have Piera (Pi) lead us around her home island. Pi was so gracious in sharing her knowledge, passion, and love for Sardinia with us throughout the trip. Having a trip leader who grew up on the island added such a personal touch to the experience. She helped us gain a much deeper appreciation for Sardinian culture than we could have on our own.

Pi was also incredible at helping us make the most of our free time. Whether it was recommending the perfect beach, a local restaurant, the best gelato spot, or unique jewelry shops, her suggestions were always spot on. It felt like having a knowledgeable local friend show us around rather than simply following a travel itinerary.

And Sardinia is amazing! The natural beauty is almost impossible to describe. The water was some of the clearest and most vibrant turquoise water I have ever seen! Every day seemed to bring another spectacular view, from towering limestone cliffs and hidden coves to charming seaside towns and both rocky and sandy beaches. I found myself constantly stopping to take photos, yet no picture could truly capture how magical it was in person.

One of the biggest highlights of the trip was the food. Sardinia has an incredible culinary tradition, and FTLO made sure we experienced it. Dinner after dinner featured course after course of amazing local specialties paired with fantastic Sardinian wine.

It’s hard to pick a favorite memory from the trip because there were so many great moments shared with so many wonderful people. From swimming in crystal clear water, the two boat days, enjoying unforgettable meals with cool people and ogling each sunset, every day brought something special. Thankfully, I have a full camera roll to help me relive all the incredible memories.

Sardinia completely captured my heart, and Pi played a huge role in making the experience so special.

FTLO continues to set the standard for group travel, and this trip is another reason why I keep coming back. If you’re considering Sardinia, book the trip!!!

Just got back from the Sardinia trip with Pi and it exceeded my expectations. I knew the trip would be amazing, just from the photos of the island, but being there in person was 10000/10. Pi was an excellent tour guide and had amazing recommendations for everything when we asked! Being a local, she knew everything and anything there was to know about Sardinia. The blue water, and boat days and food was everything and more. I might just book another trip 😉🤍

Manolis on the Greek Islands trip was the best group leader one could ask for! He went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible (even gave us specific guidance on when to wear our best dresses out and about, essential for us ladies!) He gave excellent tips and recommendations for our free time activities and helped us book additional reservations when we wanted more time together as a group.

As for FTLO as a company and the trip as a whole, can I just say: wow. The response time, guidance, and information leading up to the trip is top notch customer service. The itinerary and execution of the trip is seamless, which is especially impressive when we literally traveled to three (4 if you count dinner in antiparos!) different islands. As a group, we could not stop talking about how perfect the itinerary was. Such a good mix of sight seeing, activities, and nightlife. And time for naps if you need them (which I did!)

Jordana was the perfect guide for the Nice/Barcelona trip! She went above and beyond to make suggestions of how to make the most of our free time. She was also great at making sure every restaurant was aware of mine and other travelers food allergies.

It’s so incredibly bittersweet to write this review because it means my Sardinian Summer trip is over. This is my sixth FTLO trip and it was one of my favorites. From start to finish FTLO created an amazing itinerary filled with sun, sea and swimming. FTLO boat days are iconic and this trip had two!!

Special shout out to Pi who is one of the best FTLO guides. Truly she felt like family by the end of the trip and we even met her family. She was great at giving suggestions (thanks for the guidance on Sardinian coral jewelry) and showing us her home island. My favorite memory will be being brave with Pi and swimming over to the beach from the boat. The few of us who went didn’t have phones with us so we will just have the experience of seeing that view from the cave in our heads. Just a real life, unplugged moment. FTLO really knows how to get guides who are great at being knowledgeable and friendly and Pi is a great example of this!

Each city/town was great and I enjoyed seeing so much of Sardinia. My favorite was Cala Gonone. It was such a unique beach city and the kind of place you want to return to spend more time at the beach.

I’ve been going on FTLO trips since February 2020 and I am always certain I will get lots of great support from the team. I’m always impressed by their responsiveness to feedback and making sure everyone is having a good time.

If you are on the fence for any trip company go with FTLO! And if you’re considering your next FTLO trip Sardinia is well worth it. And see if you can get on Pi’s schedule. She’s a gem!

Travel for FTLO Budapest, Vienna, and Prague trip. Beautiful cities and a nice mix of history, sights, and experiences. Guide was very knowledgeable in all areas and worked to ensure smooth travel and time. Guide was expert in food options in all areas. If you went hungry or had a bad meal then you either did not ask or did not listen to him.

Another 5 star excursion with FTLO, this time on the Amalfi Coast and Southern Italy tour with Angelo. Angelo’s clearly done this many times over and it shows — he knew exactly where to get reservations at beach clubs and restaurants that would otherwise be booked solid, how long to budget for each city stop, and the best times to visit so we avoided crowds. He seems to know everyone in Southern Italy, and that network meant everything ran smoothly with genuinely great service throughout.

Even on the day I skipped the Positano hike, Angelo was behind the scenes coordinating taxis, equipment rentals, and bag transport for everyone else — that level of care for the group didn’t go unnoticed. His restaurant recommendations were spot on every single time; the man has great taste in food.

The itinerary itself was packed with action but well balanced — plenty of sightseeing and the obligatory social media-worthy stops, paired with real stretches to relax. Lecce and Matera were highlights I wasn’t expecting — both incredible and still relatively under the radar, so go now before everyone else catches on. Hotels throughout were great too.

Highly recommend this tour, and especially Angelo as a guide. Five stars all around.

Just had a wonderful experience in Turkey led by Feyza! Got to experience a range of experiences in a short amount of time - especially enjoyed Cappadocia. We did a sunrise hot air balloon ride there which was just magical.

Really appreciated how Feyza went above and beyond in helping us - coordinating a horseback riding excursion a bunch of us did during free time, great food/restaurant recommendations (she used to be a chef!), booked our taxis to the airport after the trip, and even helping me with my dress after a seagull led to a red wine mishap.

The only area for improvement in my eyes is the scheduling in Sirince - the area wasn't super walkable and we had the most downtime there.

I've been on two FTLO trips (a winter trip to Budapest, Vienna and Prague and a summer trip to the Greek Islands) and have loved it so much that I know there will be more. Manolis was the guide on my most recent trips to the Greek Island and he made the trip so special in so many ways--from great recommendations any time we had free time, to going out of the way to arrange for a coffee pickup or a reservation at a greek napkin dancing spot we saw one night out, to just being able to chat about anything with anyone and fostering a great group dynamic. The trip itinerary was amazing, a lot of sun, sea and delicious food balanced by experiencing fun nightlife--it was a much needed nervous system reset and a dreamy escape from everyday life.

I recently traveled to Seville and Mallorca and had an absolutely amazing time. Not only did I get to experience incredible destinations, but I also made some wonderful new friendships along the way. One of the biggest surprises was Ronda. I went in with no expectations and it ended up being my favorite part of the trip.

This was my third trip with FTLO, and every experience has exceeded my expectations. The trips are thoughtfully planned and consistently attract fantastic people.

Our trip leader, Jordana, was phenomenal and went above and beyond to make the experience special for everyone. She kept us organized, shared excellent recommendations for our free time, and was always willing to help. She even arranged additional dinner reservations beyond the planned itinerary, which many of us happily joined and which made the trip even more memorable.

I’ve loved every trip I’ve taken with FTLO, and I can’t wait to book my next adventure. If I’m lucky, I’ll get to travel with Jordana again!

I just got back from the Budapest, Vienna and Prague trip! I absolutely loved this trip and had such a wonderful time. This is my second FTLO and I definitely plan on booking my third in the future. The tour leader, Arpi, is fantastic!!! He went above and beyond to make this trip so special. He planned additional fun optional activities for the group and made everyone feel included and welcome. You can really tell he cares about making this trip a wonderful experience for each person. He is incredibly knowledgeable as well. In every city we visited he knew different facts and information that made the trip even more special. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone interested in exploring Budapest, Vienna and Prague! You get a variety of activities and enough free time for your own interests as well. FTLO always books lovely hotels that are close to all the activities and easy to navigate from.

The Budapest, Vienna and Prague trip was beyond phenomenal. There was not one dry part of the trip and this was because of our spectacular tour guide Arpi. He did a great job keeping us all on our toes with great information about each place visited and suggested great food as well! Even though it was very fast paced, we had enough free time to rest or explore other places we had an interest in. On top of that, I met some pretty great people who I will always be able to keep in touch with. Overall, this was a great experience and would recommend it to anyone!

I just returned from Turkey, my fourth adventure with FTLO. We got to experience four very different parts of the country — the big city of Istanbul, the caves and fairy chimneys of Cappadocia, the mountain village of Sirince, and the turquoise waters of Bodrum on the coast. The itinerary included a lot of different activities (a nice mix of cultural/historical activities, free time, and active options) but didn’t feel overly packed. Highlights for me were our time in Cappadocia, especially the sunrise hot air balloon ride (in our free time/not included) and exploring around the fairy chimneys, and the delicious food throughout the trip. Our trip leader, Feyza, was AMAZING and made it a smooth, fun, and memorable experience for our whole group! She was very knowledgable, organized, and went above and beyond to make sure we all got the most out of our time, including helping us coordinate activities/logistics for free time, setting up reservations at great restaurants, etc. I arrived to Istanbul a day early and would recommend for others, since there was limited time there during the trip and there is a lot to explore. Overall a great trip!

I'm a multiple-repeat client: this review is for the TURKEY trip which I joined in mid-2026. A wonderful experience with our lovely trip leader Feyza, a local, who has built a packed but well-balanced itinerary -- 4 locations across 8 days (Istanbul, Cappadocia, Sirince, and Bodrum), but it somehow never felt rushed due to the careful timing of activities and flights/drives. She got along with everyone easily and (as a pleasant surprise) would frequently hang out with the group even during non-sponsored meals -- she would go so far as to make great restaurant suggestions, book the reservations, and assist with transport despite having no obligation to do so. In many other travel tour situations, trip leaders would instead disappear during these times to take care of work (understandable, and I would probably do the same in their shoes!). So this was quite an enjoyable change.

I wholeheartedly recommend FTLO as a company, and the Turkey itinerary in particular.

Worth noting: the trademark hot air balloon flight in Cappadocia is NOT included in the trip cost/itinerary. However, every member of our group booked this experience -- FTLO gives recommendations for which companies to book before the trip. All of us got to be in the same balloon to catch truly magical sunrise views! I would call this a must-do among the optional activities.

I recently travelled to puglia and Amalfi coast as my first FTLO trip and it was amazing! Angelo, our guide, was exceptional.. he’s a local so he’s knowledgeable about the region, he’s really funny and personable, he controls the group and the plan effortlessly with clear communication and reminders, and he forms excellent relationships with all the restaurants, drivers, and hotels. We never had to wait for anything which means no wasted time.. the buses were ready for us, porters to bring our bags to the hotel, hotel ready for check in, restaurants ready to seat us.. everything was seamless and exactly what we could have hoped for with a trip covering so many places. I’m sure a lot is happening behind the scenes but he manages the chaos well and ensures we are all in vacation mode and mindset!
Angelo exceeded all expectations as our guide, and I’m happy with the overall structure and value of the FTLO trip. It felt like I barely had to take out my credit card as so many meals and activities were included… and there was so much food and wine. It wasn’t “one drink” or “only entrees”.. it was an abundance of everything, we were never wanting more. Thank you Angelo and FTLO for a lovely trip!
