My first impressions of Fruu were excellent, I'd tried their watermelon balm and it became my go-to which I've used for years, so recently I decided to try some of their other varieties, which I almost wish I hadn't, because this is where it all went wrong.
I ordered a pineapple balm and a cherry balm, the pineapple one had barely any pineapple flavour, and the cherry one had no cherry flavour AT ALL, both of which I could have managed, but what was worse, and unmanageable, was that they both had a horrible waxy, and very prominent bitter taste to them (which I didn't even have a hint of in the previous Fruu balms I'd used), making them unusable.
Now I understand that sometimes things go wrong, and I gave Fruu the benefit of the doubt, certain that they wouldn't intentionally sell a horrible tasting product, so I wrote to them about this issue, but they have simply ignored me, which tells me that they see no problem at all with sending out sub-par and unusable products.
I can't even seem to create an account to leave a review on their website, which is convenient for them I guess.
So here I am, warning others - you might get a good product, but you also might get a terrible one that you'll have to bin, and when you do, no one will be there to help you and make sure they're actually sending out quality product, because it seems that once they have your money they don't care much at all about your experience or satisfaction.
It really is such a huge shame when such a small company with a (usually) great product would rather throw their reputation (and this customer) away by running and hiding from their faults, instead of being honest and actually dealing with their own screw up head on.
