Booking from China to Canada

Freightos is a very user friendly website for quotes & booking. I would like to see them go one step further by improving....what documentation is required & who is responsible for each. i.e. customer provides packing list & commercial invoice. Supplier is responsible for Cert. Of Origin, Freight Forwarder is responsible for emanifest & Bill of Lading.

Uncertainty in shipping line schedules

Freightos makes freight management very simple. Comparing prices and transit times is quick and transparent, and the platform is intuitive and easy to use.

The only negative aspect is the increasing uncertainty in the schedules managed by shipping lines, which sometimes makes it impossible to create realistic forecasts regarding stock availability.

Everything was smooth until I received…

Everything was smooth until I received an additional charge for a "Dimensions Adjustment." This charge was the topic of an email conversation between our company, Freightos and the logistics company (Primorus Worldwide) during the previous 2 days. The situation developed after the final shipper (DHL) falsely added an additional charge to our Freightos shipping fees due to a "dimensions adjustment." DHL falsely claimed that the shipment measured 80cm x 80cm and added additional fees. When I saw the additional charge, I went to the warehouse and took photos of the pallet that clearly show the dimensions match those entered on the original shipment quote (40cmx40cmx60cm). I sent the images to Freightos and to Primorus. After seeing the email, Primorus sent a message to Freightos clearly requesting that any additional charges be placed on hold until the issue is resolved. At about 5AM Monday morning, Freightos put the charge through anyway... even though the charges are clearly fraudulent. You guessed it - so I had to call the card company, dispute the charge... write this review and spend half the morning fighting over something that is fraudulent... and should have never been entered on my account in the first place.

Money on hold, no Support

Money on hold for one month. Support is useless (if they gives an answer ( usually not.
dont choose frightos if you have any Alternative.
it seem to be a scam.
i dont know if i will get my money back.

Shipping not quoted correctly

Shipping not quoted correctly. In a site where people are competing for your shipment based on quoting you shipping, it should be quoted to you more accuratley instead of adding up charges when the goods are in route or have landed. Not tarriff charges, these are extra shipping charges added on to bill.

Amazing service from Adam at Unicargo

This was my first time organising freight from China. Adam from Unicargo was incredibly helpful in stepping me through the process and giving me peace of mind. He kept an eye on the shipment until it was delivered and was always very timely with his communication.

extra charges should have been covered by forwarder because forwarder inputted wrong dimensions..

You will be charged extra regardless of what the original quote shows. Booked a shipment for the correct dimensions. Forwarder sent the wrong dimensions to the carrier. Carrier adjusts cost of shipment and I (the consigner) was made to pay for it, despite booking and paying for the correct dimensions. Customer support team doesn't try to understand the situation nor provide any help.

They trick you into making an account…

They trick you into making an account to calculate ddp shipping they are a joke of a website, takes half hour just to check a single shipping. Wouldn’t recommend unless you have a lot of time on your hands, stupid sly website why would anyone need an account for calculating shipping and they are a joke.
