FreeMCServer is a pretty decent host. The pricing is a bit worse, but really, that's how it is with nearly every host these days. However, considering that FMCS provides free server hosting, i... See more

I use this with my friends.
But it takes longer than I wanted to start a Minecraft Java server.
But it does start!
Minecraft Bedrock servers start REALLY fast

It is actually better than Aternos. I love the fact that they give you an FTP instead of a watered down file manager where they will hide the actual files like the server config, here do want you want as long as it agrees with TOS. However that doesn't mean there aren't cons if you want the great access to the server like mentioned before for uploading a custom jar for example, It is very hard to get you account verified still even with a unverified account the service is better than any other in the market of free servers.

This server hosting web is excellent but only one thing i felt bad about this is why we cannot change the ip and port

I have been using this server hosting for a while now. And my only problem with it was there was no way for me to find out how to get add-ons. But i recently found out how to do it. It is a good server with a little lagg.

I just wanna ask why the server and port aren't working

if you want a "FREE" server hosting, I think freemcserver is better than aternos because it keeps the server on for 4 hours (it says "always on plan has 2 days on" but it's always full.), while aternos only has around 5 minutes after the last person left.
if you do not have any money to spend, you can watch ads from your phone to keep your server on for longer than 4 hours. it used to be 12 30sec ads, but now it is... always changing. there is a 14 ad and 26 ad plan but they sometimes lock the 14 ad one for paid users.
the staff on discord is always active, also.
The only downside is that it's not "that" good if you're planning to be a paid user.

i got banned for multi accaunt when i just helping a freand setting his server right up and we both got banned
The website is fast and free but the problem is that they ban our account very often for minor mistakes and we can't purchase credits through Google play store or in the app. Most of the time we can't create a always online server.
Application has a wonderful service with nice benefits just for using the service for free, but with that comes a big price. EXTREMELY dodgy way of handling costumer issues, extremely hidden TOS and rules are all over the place (and way too strict, you can get banned for using an adblocker??? what????).
If you get banned, whether accidental or not, takes away any way of reaching the costumer support. I got banned for something that I didn't even know was a bannable offense to begin with (using Bluestacks to access the android app, which adds literally nothing to the minecraft experience itself). Instead of giving me a short warning suspension so I'd stop using Bluestacks, FreeMcServer.net decided to straight up ban me and told me to check their TOS.
TOS? Where? The TOS and rules are very inaccessible, in the discord server nothing is hyperlinked either. If you want to read the TOS you have to go out of your way to search it up on google rather than just clicking on a simple link. The TOS itself is very unclear, none of the rules are stated by severity.
(EDIT: the company's reply confirmed everything I said in the above paragraph and provided no clear information. You've handed me the links towards both TOS's, why not put those links in the Discord server or have the TOS not be hidden on the FRONT PAGE of the site? If you're making your userbase go out of their way to search for the TOS you're giving your users a worse costumer experience on purpose. You can't expect every single one of your users to read your TOS if you don't provide a simple and quick way of heading there. Especially since the rules mean so much to the company, why not spoonfeed your userbase those rules to make sure they don't accidently get themselves banned? Or, maybe make it clear in the TOS what infractions result in an immediate ban and whatnot.... Changed from 2 stars to 1 star.)
Worst of all; they don't even give a backup of the server nor notify you beforehand that you're about to lose your server. Because I thought using an emulator for a third party application was fine, it completely threw me off guard when I suddenly got my account terminated. If only they had notified me beforehand so I could get a backup of the server. Now I've lost a server that had a lot of progress on it.
TL;DR: FreeMcServer.net may look attractive with it's high RAM and memory, but unless you're going to abide by the rules don't bother with this one. And, even if you're trying your best not to get banned, you most likely will still get banned for straight bogus. FreeMcServer.net goes out of their way to make the costumer experience as bad as possible. But hey, at least the hosted server itself works decently!
If it's too good to be true it probably is, and FreeMcServer.net is the perfect example of this.
