I joined Freebeat as a Pro subscriber, paying over $300 per year, expecting a reliable AI video-generation experience. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing.
The AI consistently fails to follow basic instructions. One of my most important requirements was to keep the same character throughout the video, but Freebeat repeatedly changed the character’s appearance. A Midwestern man would suddenly become an American man, then a woman, then an Asian man. It also changed their clothing from scene to scene, despite explicit instructions to maintain consistency.
The generated visuals also contained some bizarre and unacceptable errors. At one point, the AI actually decapitated a character (it showed the character without a head). In other scenes, it buried characters in the sand up to the middle of their chest or made characters mysteriously appear out of rocks or seemingly out of nowhere.
Lip-syncing was another major problem. The characters’ mouths didn't properly match the song's lyrics, making the final result look unnatural and unusable.
Perhaps most frustrating of all, Freebeat consumed more than 10,000 credits trying to create a single song/video that ultimately could not be used. That represents a significant amount of paid resources wasted on a result that failed to meet even the basic requirements.
For a service costing over $300 a year for the Pro plan, I expected much better performance and consistency. Instead, I spent substantial time and credits trying to correct problems that the AI repeatedly created.
Overall, my experience with Freebeat has been a failure. The AI does not reliably follow instructions, maintain character consistency, produce coherent visuals, or synchronize lip movements with music. Until you address these fundamental issues, I cannot recommend paying for a subscription.

I gave Freebeat a fair shot and spent a lot of time and credits testing it.

The image quality can actually be impressive. Unfortunately, **control and consistency were the deal-breakers for me.**

I tried detailed prompts, shorter prompts, Auto mode, manual settings, visual references, corrections, and even references generated by Freebeat itself.

The same problems kept happening: characters changed appearance, reference images weren't followed reliably, requested actions were ignored or replaced, and fixing one problem often created another.

For casual experimentation, that might be fine. But for a serious music video or character-driven project, I need to know that when I provide a reference and clear direction, the system will actually follow them.

That's especially frustrating because there is clearly some very capable image generation underneath it all.

My biggest suggestion to Freebeat:

**Give creators more control. Make prompts and visual references actually matter.**

I genuinely wanted this platform to work for me. After putting it through a pretty extensive test, I just can't trust it for production work in its current state.

Hopefully they improve it, because the potential is definitely there.

For now: thanks for the experiment, Freebeat — but you guys drove me absolutely nuts. 😂

Absolute scam. Pay your money, lots of money and you wont get a video at the end of it, Always stuck in the creation process and never finished. Consumed all credits

I have had a very poor experience with FreeBeat AI.

I paid to create a music video using MV Agent. Most of the scenes generated, but one scene became stuck on “Generating Movies” and the entire project has now been unable to complete for more than 36 hours.

Because the video is not finalised, I cannot even download the completed parts of the project. I have already spent credits on the generation and there is no option in MV Agent to simply regenerate or repair the individual stuck scene.

I contacted customer support, but so far the responses appear to be automated AI replies rather than meaningful human technical support. The issue remains unresolved.

The frustrating part is that when FreeBeat works, it can produce very good results. However, if a generation gets stuck, the lack of proper scene-level control and effective human support leaves you with a paid project that you cannot complete or download.

I am currently waiting for FreeBeat to either repair/finalise the existing project or restore the credits used.

I will update this review if FreeBeat resolves the problem properly.

Bought the Ultimate subscription.
It takes 1,5 hours to create 15 seconds.
When it is finally done it doesn't look at all like the photos uploaded. Even with an extensive promt it freestyles and doesn't follow the promt.
With 19.000 credits and this slow it is impossible to actually be able to use all credits within a month. A 4 minute video would take a day or so to make = impossible.
Stay away.
I want a refund.

I want to warn other creators before spending money on Freebeat AI credits. I attempted to generate a music video for a full 4-minute music track using a Suno link. The system glitched and only rendered a 10-second clip, consuming a massive amount of paid credits.After reaching out to an agent, I followed their advice and manually uploaded the raw MP3 file. The platform processed it and marked the video status as "complete," yet the final video is still completely broken—it remains stuck at the original 10-second mark and cuts off the entire song. During this troubleshooting process, I encountered multiple internal service errors.I have spent hours on this project and used a substantial amount of paid credits for absolutely zero usable output. Given that the platform failed to deliver the video length corresponding to the audio file provided, I am waiting on customer support to issue a full credit refund.

They are constantly seeming to try to improve. I've had some videos that didn't turn out as i expected. But seem they are trying to fix the issue and now that have a chat bot .so seems to be trying to fix there issues.

I paid $26 for Freebeat Pro and received approximately 10,000 credits because I needed a music video for my business. I provided detailed instructions, the complete story, the correct lyrics, the ages of the characters, their skin tones, hair textures, and the modern animated style I wanted.

Despite all of that information, Freebeat repeatedly produced unusable results. The videos did not accurately follow the story, characters changed appearance and skin tone, the mother was duplicated, important parts of the story were left out, and an eight-year-old child was depicted looking like an adult. I specifically requested a modern cartoon or animated style, yet the visual direction was repeatedly wrong.

The lyrics were also handled incorrectly. One of the generated videos included the words “fight for taste” instead of “designing Protea,” which completely changed the meaning of the song and made the video unusable for my brand.

The platform’s own storyboard also created scenes that violated its stated requirements. One scene exceeded the two-character limit, and another contained 246 words even though the stated limit was 110 to 170 words. I was then left trying to correct problems the platform itself created while more credits were being consumed.

I used approximately 10,000 credits and was left with zero credits and no finished video that I could use. I contacted Freebeat for help and have not received a meaningful response or resolution.

I understand that AI-generated content may require adjustments, but customers should not lose an entire paid credit balance correcting major errors when detailed instructions were provided and the platform itself failed to follow its own limits.

I am requesting either a full refund of the $26 I paid or the restoration of my approximately 10,000 credits, along with direct assistance completing the video correctly. Based on my experience and the lack of support, I cannot recommend Freebeat.
Please don’t waste your time, money or sanity

This company will scam you when you purchase a one time top up to create a video they will not remove your details they will not answer emails and they take money out of your account every other day regardless if you you cancel change not a option to delete account this is the worst site ever do not use

Terrible platform, doesn't get anything you tell it right, uses up your credits making video scenes that don't even come close to matching up your feedback of what kind of images, plot, design, etc. And, no refund support, no one to talk to. Maybe it's a 100% AI with some nerd making money off it.

Eats up credits without explanation. If the video isn't finalized and requires edits, I don't think I should be charged again. Takes a very long time to generate. Stops running without explanation and requires me to tell it to try again even if I have the generation set to automation. Lip syncing by characters is, more often than not, out of sync. Movement of characters often provides odd overlaps giving people three arms, etc. as they move and the previous placement of the body part, character, object is not cleared.

I've tried it 4 times but it's really amateurish, you can't create with perfection, it's not for professionals!!! And then it always crashes, really not to be used, but do your own experiments.

Makes immaculate videos, better than expected!

Very good Music Videos. Its leading the AI Music Video industry. Very pricy , too. Really Expensive. Some of my Generations were broken but i got full refund. Difficult Helpdesk....

The concept behind Freebeat is genuinely impressive, and some of the generated scenes can look really good. I enjoyed experimenting with the platform and would actually like to continue using it.

Unfortunately, my experience was significantly affected by the credit system and technical problems. During one project, a large number of credits were consumed through repeated generations, character inconsistencies and internal service errors. In some cases, the system generated something different from what was requested, and correcting those results required even more credits.

I have contacted support with screenshots and requested a human review of my account and the credit deductions. I hope this can be resolved fairly, because the platform itself has a lot of potential.

For me, better reliability, more transparent credit charging and fair handling of failed generations would make a major difference.

Often it makes a lot of mistakes and you just loose credits and money.

I had a very disappointing experience with Freebeat.ai. I paid for the service expecting a professional AI platform capable of creating good-quality music videos, but the results did not meet my expectations at all.

The generated videos looked unprofessional and were not suitable for the quality of music content I wanted to produce. For a paid service marketed around AI music-video creation, I expected much better results and a more reliable experience.

What made the situation worse is that I requested a refund, but my refund issue has still not been resolved to my satisfaction.

I paid for this service in good faith, and I believe customers should receive reasonable quality and proper support when something goes wrong. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Freebeat.ai.

If my refund issue is not resolved, I am prepared to explore the appropriate consumer-protection and legal channels available to me.

I hope Freebeat.ai takes customer complaints, product quality, and refund requests more seriously.

This app is amazing of course with the correct prompts for a music video it definitely does it's thing.
