Me & husband used this service for our holiday to NYC. At first my husband booked the wrong days but this was changed & we had to pay a free. When it come to the day of travel, they couldn’t find our booking even though we had paid extra. We then arrived at the car park and they took ages to come, when they did we had to cover the ticket (when they said you would not have to) & then upon arrival we called with plenty of time, we found our vehicle with no keys. We had to wait 30 mins for someone to arrive & then we had to cover the ticket again. We booked this company because it was advised you would not pay the parking ticket fees!
I will never book with these again
I originally booked the wrong dates and free2move gladly rearranged my booking for a small fee. It seemed like great customer service to start. Then on the day of my actual booking they said they had no record of my booking. They say to ring 30 mins before but they weren't even there when we arrived. Then they still hadn't found my booking so had to take photos of my booking reference and confirmation email of my booking dates being amended. Now on arrival back they have parked my car up and left it so I've had to wait another 30 mins for them to arrive with the key. I will never book with this company again. Another gripe to add was the cost of the booking stated short stay car park fees would be covered but I was told to pay them on both drop off and pick up
My worst car-sharing experience ever – think twice before using Free2Move…
I want to share my experience with Free2Move so other people, especially tourists, can think twice before using this service.
I only used Free2Move because I received free credit as a first-time user and wanted to try it while visiting Paris as a tourist. That decision turned into a nightmare.
Here is what happened:
• I used the car once and ended the rental
• I was charged 75 € by Free2Move for “improper parking”
• Then I received a 35 € official parking fine from the police
• After that, Free2Move charged me 20 € as an “administration fee” to process the police fine
• Then they charged me ANOTHER 20 € for the same reason
So a “free credit” ride ended up costing me 150 €+.
What makes this even worse:
I am not a resident, I’m a tourist
Local parking and charging rules are extremely complex
Free2Move’s app does not clearly warn you when something is wrong
Their “service” that was supposed to prevent fines did not prevent anything
Customer support keeps sending copy-paste replies and takes no responsibility
I already called their customer support to ask why I was charged 20 € twice for the same administrative process, and they said they would “check with the accounting team”. I am still waiting.
This experience honestly felt like a trap rather than a service.
What started as a “free credit” ended in multiple charges, stress, and wasted time.
This is by far the worst customer experience I have ever had in my life.
Free2Move is a big regret for me.
I strongly recommend thinking twice before using this service, especially if you are a tourist and not familiar with local rules.

Worst company ever, i booked a car 1 month in advance and i put the time 18:00, which i should pick up in the street. I went there 18:30 and my booking was cancelled and is was fine 40€. I cant go home from Christmas

Unclear charges and poor transparency
I was unexpectedly charged a “validation fee” that was never clearly disclosed at any point before payment. As a digital service, I expect full transparency about any cost, especially when it involves automatic or hidden charges.
When I contacted support, they tell it was in the T&C. Well geniouses, in Spain, you are breaking two laws (and probably some European ones) with a misleading omission and an unfair commercial practice. I guess they need a better legal deparment.
This experience left me with very little trust in the platform. Clear communication and transparent billing are the minimum customers should expect. Until they improve their practices, I cannot recommend this service eventhough customer service was expedite and they refund me.

Misleading “Meet & Greet” Service at Stansted – Avoid!
I booked what was advertised as “Stansted Airport Parking – Meet & Greet at the terminal” through Free2Move, expecting the official Stansted meet-and-greet service. This was completely misleading.
When I arrived at Stansted, the official meet-and-greet staff told me I had no booking. I was then directed to the Orange Car Park, where I had to call a mobile number. Someone came to collect my car and demanded £10 to exit the car park, and another £10 when returning the car .
To make matters worse, my car was taken to an unknown location and returned dirty and covered in mud. This is not what “meet and greet at the terminal” means.
This service is misrepresented and caused unnecessary stress and extra costs. I strongly urge Free2Move to correct their advertising immediately and add transparency about where cars are stored.
Under UK law (Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008), misleading advertising is illegal

SCAM!!
SCAM!!! I cancelled my booking within the free cancellation period. Back in September. It’s not December and I’ve still not had my refund. I’ve called so many times and emailed and they keep saying, we are trying to get through to the agency to release the money. That’s all I ever get. Been 3 months of trying and now I think, it’s a scam.

The whole situation feels intimidating, aggressive, and completely unprofessional.
