Paid for an upgrade to legal cover and they won’t let us use it because the policy hasn’t yet started. We’ve paid though!

We are sorry that you are unhappy with the service received. However, the Legal Protection cover you purchased is not due to commence until 2 August 2026.
Insurance cannot normally be used retrospectively for a dispute or incident that arose before the policy began. As the matter you wished to claim for occurred before the start date, no cover was in force at that time.
We appreciate this may be disappointing, but we must apply the policy terms consistently and cannot provide cover for an event that predates the policy. We would be happy to discuss this with you directly if you require any further explanation. We also feel your review is very unfair and would appreciate it if you amend the star rating or remove it all together.

Online only experience, not needed anything from them, hopefully they don’t auto renew if so that’s going to be a fun experience going on other reviews.
Good price but from what other people have said make all the difference back through “admin fees” I don’t have a caravan anymore but I didn’t cancel the policy as I didn’t want to deal with the “admin fees”.
