no DKIM on free plan as promoted
They sell DKIM available on configuratable on free-tier, but actually you need a paid tier for this lol, i had to send an email to understand that they only"verify [DKIM] on free plan"... like any other competitor ? anyway don't waste your time just use cloudflare or your own registrar mx plans. their only point is being "opensource"
PS1 : after reading FE's answer you should understand that they avoid mentionning DKIM because they can't contradict what I said lol, hey even made a request to trustpilot that I was in the wrong company for my review to disappear haha

Excellent all around
I've been using the upgraded paid service for a while and it provides a ton of extremely useful features for not very much money. I run email for several domains through them, both inbound and outbound. When I've needed support (seldom) they respond within 24 hours. Do note they are very picky and careful about their IP reputations. I sent one email, just one, that got classified as spam (I didn't know that .msi attachments were not allowed) and my SMTP service was suspended at once, but when I emailed and explained what had happened, it was restored within a day.
It is too good to be true
It is too good to be true. Other competitors are not even close. If you are a casual(non-power) user, the setup can be complex. You might not even need it. Whatever they claim, they do it precisely. I have checked their commits on github, they do care about privacy. If they are using the same code for hosting, then it is definitely secure. First i decided to self host it for myself but 3 dollars are worth the time. I wish they create more product in future like this.
Awesome service, perfect of techie people
Awesome service! I have been juggling different services over the last couple of years - some are unreliable, some have terrible websites or tech support, some make it extremely difficult to set up aliases and delete them, some make you buy other products to get email services, etc.
After several migrations and experimenting with different hosts, registrars, DNS services and email services, I decided to have different companies for registration, name servers, hosting and email. So I looked and found out about ForwardEmail.net.
I quickly loved the snappy, detailed website, API that makes it extremely easy to import/export records (I may post some of my scripts on GitHub or Bitbucket soon), and the openness and simplicity.
Also, I emailed them a few times with questions, and they were clear and straight to the point - very little scripting, and I felt like I was talking to peers pretty quickly (I am in tech as well).
Great job Forward Email! Keep it up!
A Great Forwarding Service
I've been using Forward Email for over a year now and they are brilliant. It's easy to setup and maintain and does exactly what you want it to do. Also easy access to the logs to see if you are having any issues. I really like this service.
30 domains
I have 30 domains on one Forwardemail account, in order to keep email traffic off my server. All websites have an SMTP connection, and some clients actually use the IMAP service. All this costs me €3 a month.
Email delivery is flawless, reliable, and fast. Their helpdesk is great.
ForwardEmail makes simple work out of…
ForwardEmail makes simple work out of creating a forward for any domain. It literally took me just 5 minutes and it just works. Thanks you ForwardEmail team for making it so straight forward.
Great service and support!
Great service. I had an issue that had nothing to do with the forwardemail service. Support stayed engaged and went above and beyond helping to find the issue.
But the actual service is awesome. It's exactly what I need and works really great.
Amazing customer service
Amazing customer service! - I had an issue (my fault, not theirs) which they responded to and resolved within minutes.
Amazing service
Amazing service. Great for startup or small projects. Instead of creating a new inbox for your new domain, just forward emails to your existing inbox! Instead of creating sales[at]example.com, support[at]example.com, contact[at]examples.com, just create catch-all and forward them to your inbox (you're wearing all the hats anyways, right?). Highly recommended.
Best cost effective boutique email
Of all the cost effective / boutique email services, forwardemail.net is probably the best. I tried about a dozen over the course of a month and came to realize that forwardemail.net is a well engineered and streamlined solution compared to the others.
Surprisingly affordable, easy to use, and might help me finally get rid of gmail!
Have had their Enhanced service plan for nearly 6 months now, and it's been great! Their website clearly explains how to configure your own domains, and is very easy to create aliases which makes it easy use a different email address for every website.
A couple improvements that might be nice:
1. It would be amazing if they could provide a mobile app to make alias management easier (e.g., automatic alias creation when signing up for service on a new website). Although, they do have an API that I might be able to use as an alternative.
2. It would be nice if plus (+) aliases used the same SMTP password as the main email (user at whatever.com vs user+alias at whatever.com). As a workaround, I've just been creating manual aliases that use the same password, that way the SMTP server will accept my outbound email without needing to manually configure every alias in my email client every time I need to reply to someone.
Free email forwarding is good
This service has been forwarding emails for me for years now. I use it as a catchall for my domain. Very simple and free to use.

I've been using their service for a couple of months, and it has been great. The support team responds pretty fast and gives direct responses which makes it easier to answer my questions.
Great service at very affordable price point
My initial impression is very favorable. I've got 13 domains connected and validated for SMTP service, some with forwarders set up using multiple destinations. I've only been using this for a few days, but so far, my experience has been flawless. I combined services from Titan and Postmark into this one service and saved a lot of money.
Checks all the boxes
Simple pricing model, good documentation, usable APIs, easy integrations, works as expected.
Comprehensive email service for custom domains with great customer support
I use this service to handle emails for 6 personal website domains. I am very impressed with the completeness of the platform they have created and with the support for DKIM and SPF to protect against spoofing. I had a little trouble figuring out how to set up my custom email addresses on the iOS mail app, but I emailed support who provided prompt and very helpful responses to my questions. Highly recommend.
No hand holding, but great help.
This is an excellent service. It does require you to know a bit about what you're doing (I wouldn't recommend it for novices), but for the techies out there, it's pretty much perfect.
I've had a great experience getting support, but as a fellow dev, I use the right forum (as instructed on the website), and try to include the details I would need to debug the situation myself.
Worth it.
Tech tool for tech people, by tech people
We have been using the service for several years now. The setup is easy and powerful, and the price is very low.
We have encountered several bugs, sometimes quite annoying. Support has not always been responsive, but they are human and they understand our issues and always find a solution.
Great value for the price, and having customized documentation adds a very nice touch to the usage.
Go ForwardEmail!
Let's Encrypt of Email
They're doing exactly what they advertise. The only problem is their documentation can be cryptic, but it's cheaper than the service i was already using and also does more. Feels like the email version of Let's Encrypt, to be honest.
