Good riddance to Bad Customer service … R.I.H. NCIX

Good riddance to Bad Customer service ...or is it?

NCIX is no more as I'm sure most of you know ...They officially filed for bankruptcy but watch out because I think the game for these lowlifes is to open up again when the smoke clears as online only. These goofs were taking orders they knowingly couldn't not fill while all this was going on ...in short online only or not I will never do business with NCIX or the shady little puke Steve Wu again ....ever! That's right I'll be looking at the ownership of any new business that pops up even under a different name because your a crook Steve! I Lost all my reward points! (I'm sure thousands of other people lost way more than I did)

One of the worst companies I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with.

Trying to get through to support for ordered items is literally impossible. I ordered a laptop, and received no tracking number. Then, it turns out, the store it was being sent to is closed permanently. No notice on that, either. No way to get a refund, and they don't answer their phones anymore. The only suggestion I have to people that still have outstanding orders is to issue a chargeback.

had a product that was doa, so I submitted an RMA form but no action was done on their end. I waited 2 weeks then sent an email to their tech support and still no response or action. I tried calling them but always in queue. I even left my number for call back several times but did not receive a call back. Terrible customer service.

Some of the worst customer service I have ever encountered....

I've had issues with NCIX in the past but ...It's so bad now I can't imagine doing another order unless they sort their s__t out. (We’re talking lots of orders and thousands spent here) Forget about customer service it's completely nonexistent you WILL NOT get through if you call, the chat feature is NOT available on their site I left a call back number 3 times ...it's now been 2 days and no callback. Don't believe the stock status either every item I ordered was in stock with the exception of ram (complete PC) it's been 6 business days and items that were supposed to ship in 1-2 days still have not shipped! I think I'm pretty much finished with NCIX it's not worth the headache anymore and seems to get worse with every passing year ....at this point I would happily pay more somewhere else more just to receive my #%#@#*& items in a somewhat reasonable time frame!

*Update* ...I ended up calling a local NCIX store front as it was the only way I could actually talk to someone! (technical support option if your wondering how to actually get someone on the phone)...only to find out more than half the items I'm waiting on will take around 30 days just to ship never mind arrive! I cancelled those parts and ordered them elsewhere ...what a gong show! (The guy I talked to wasn't even a customer service rep obviously very overworked and not very patient bordering on rude but managed to fix most of the F'ups./ refund etc) I asked them to remove my 30 day express RMA and re-add it based on the parts I am actually getting / he removed it ...and did not re-add it at a new price to reflect the items left on my invoice so I guess no express RMA at all now ...thanks for that. I've already spent most of the day today trying to deal with this so I'll guess I'll deal with the Express RMA coverage that wasn't reapplied ....if I ever get a callback.

Another note: Any 5 start review you see here is pretty much guaranteed to be either staff or one of the NCIX fanboys despite any claims to the contrary.

NCIX hire some customer service reps please! or at least have the option to continue holding because your e-tarded little robot /call back service that doesn't know my number in the first place cuts me off with no option to continue to hold...there's nothing like being on hold for 20 minutes just to get cut off ..then to add insult to injury even after manually entering my number not once but 3 times total I never get a call back?!? We just reached the end of day 3 with no callback in case anyone is wondering (will update when the magic callback takes place)

Although it took over a month and still …

Although it took over a month and still has not arrived, they only had to ship it from the city right beside me! Not to mention I called 2 TIMES. WAITED 20 MINUTES EACH TIME, A robot picked. WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Robot picks up and repeats back a totally different number than what I put in to call back. Even that, I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK! When I asked where is my package in email. The person that answered said, "would you like me to cancel if that works best? I can put you in contact of the seller." i bought this video card for a reason. Why don't you get in contact of the seller? Are you kidding me? You go fetch it out. I paid you the money.

I have not heard anything from my last …

I have not heard anything from my last response. I decided it was time for a review of this card you sold me, but failed to deliver on. This is the review I placed on your web site. I am betting dollars to pennies it will not get posted on your site:
I purchased this "pre-order" card on the very first day it went on sale at NCIX.com - August 14, 2017. I paid the going price at that time, and NCIX.com took my money immediately - not as soon as the estimated time of delivery of the stock was available, but immediately upon order. They have been stringing me along since then telling me they have not been able to get the cards at the price they promised for it since that date. They complain about the price of the card going up. It has never dropped to the price I paid since August 14, 2017. I contacted Sapphire, and this is their response to this issue:

Vega Liquid cooling version is a very limited item, if you are looking for the fan cool version there are plenty of those versions around and available, so not so much stock available for liquid cool version, i think that is likely why you have not gotten your order yet. It will be tough because the quantity of the liquid cool versions are all sold out and not longer available.

Yes liquid versions are only offered in limited quantity, once sold out they will not make anymore..

Sapphire stopped making this card, so that means the price will never drop to the price I paid, and NCIX.com deposited into their accounts. At this point, I am beyond upset with NCIX.com, and they have done nothing to fix this issue for me. They are unwilling to give me the card at the going price on their end for the price I paid to them and they accepted in August of this year. THIS IS FRAUD AND THEFT. I expect them to man up, and suck up the cost of the difference at this point, and either give me the card I ordered/paid for and that they accepted the money for in August, or give me an equivalent card at the going price that is comparable to the card I ordered - which does not exist at the price I paid. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR ENEMY'S MONEY. Nuff said.

If it does not, I will be sure to find other venues to post it - and you can take that to the bank!

No tracking number or email on a pickup after waiting 7 business days on an SSD that was instock in their warehouse, it's supposed to take 2-4. I'm a patient person and the wait isn't even what bugs me, it's the lack of information, especially considering my payment has processed.

For the past 2 days, calling their phone-number's online order status line has resulted in an endless busy signal...

I'm starting to feel like I got scammed out of 260$, what crappy company. Next time buy from amazon, newegg, or literally anywhere else, don't give these guys your money. If they keep this up their customer base is going the way of the dinosaurs.

In 2013 I purchased a custom i7 machine …

In 2013 I purchased a custom i7 machine from NCIX for photo editing. I was extremely happy with the product and service that I got from them so when my brother decided he needed a new machine for his photo editing I had no hesitation recommending NCIX as a local and reliable company. His subsequent experience attempting to contact service for a 4 TB WD Red drive that never worked has given me cause to regret my recommendation. The management at NCIX seems more concerned with their Audi's and Porches than providing customer service. It is very sad.

I also got tricked by a NCIX 'presale'. From reading the reviews it seems to be a common problem.

I bought a vega rx 64 liquid edition on the day of release. I could have gone with another retailer, but the price at NCIX was a bit better.

Here's my theory on NCIX's pre-sale tactics:
1. List new item as pre-sale on day of release (at MSRP)
- 1.a. Hold the pre-sale cash for short-term financing
2. Don't deliver if demand is high
3. Raise the price, then gradually lower it
4. Only deliver to the people who ordered later at a higher price, without informing the original purchasers
5. If no other orders come in, deliver the original orders

The only good thing about the experience was the customer service rep, who did everything he could to answer my questions and was very prompt.

BTW, most other retailers don't charge extra for delivery insurance.I also got tricked by a NCIX 'presale'. From reading the reviews it seems to be a common problem.

I did purchase 3 times from their website (Canada store), and only one of them arrived on time. The others had delay 3-7days because there are no communication between departments. Moreover, some negative reviews on products never show up, and for instance I wrote a bad review for a GPU 2 times (1-month between each) and none of them appeared under that product on their website.
So at this point I suggest to stay away from their stores or check tons of other stores and reviews before you buy from them.

This company lies its clients. In its website, they have available products but not in stock. I made a purchase 3 months ago and I did not receive my items yet. A month ago, I called and they told me that I have to wait 2 more months. A few weeks later, I realized that they are still selling this item but in a higher price, of course, with the same status of availability but not in stock. I think this is not ethic. They are just playing with the money of the people. Besides that, customer service sucks!!! I called several times and nobody answer. If you are lucky and someone attends the phone, it will be the rudest customer service person in the world, and the only choice he will give to you is: "you can cancel anytime". 4 months later, I decided to get my money back and I've been trying to reach customer service by phone or email for two weeks and I didn't receive any answer yet. This is very annoying. It's unacceptable that this is happening in Canada. I would give 0 stars if I could

Wow, asolute disgusting experience

Wow, just wow! By far the worst online company I ever dealt with. Put an order, everything looks fine, confirmation etc etc, time goes and after a month contacting them to inquire about my order, their CSR replies with a lousy apology that the item is "discontinued" !!! It's one of the best sellers and they still currently offer it. Wow, never again with these crocks, authorities should intervene and shut them down.

Constantly lies about items being in stock just so they can get your money

NCIX will lie to your face about them having items in stock and happily take your money, letting you think you'll be receiving what you paid for in a timely manner.

I've had this happen more than once. Their website will claim an item is in stock and ready to be shipped, but after I pay for I don't receive anything; no item and no shipment notification. I waited for over THREE WEEKS before I got fed up and opened a support ticket with them regarding my purchased item never being shipped, and despite their website claiming a response will take 1-2 business days I never received a response. I had to end up requesting a callback—which they claim will take about an hour, and it took far longer than that for them to finally call me—and had the rep tell me the item is not only not in stock, that he also has no idea if/when it will be and recommended I just refund it. Afterward, a separate rep finallly responded to my ticket and said they expect to have my product in stock in about a week and it will ship out then.

Two completely different stories regarding the exact same problem. This is now how a business should be run.

I've submitted a refund request with them and will never give NCIX any of my business ever again and am recommending every person I know who purchases computer equipment/accessories to avoid NCIX (fortuantely I've been able to convince 2 of my friends to never give NCIX business).

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I purchased an item over 2 weeks ago, saying there was 2 in stock. The payment went through, but I never received shipping info. I submitted two different support tickets and requested a call back to speak to someone about this - none were responded to. I never got a phone call, even though they said they called (I had my phone in hand - they didn't call), and I haven't gotten a response from the support tickets. I paid extra for fast shipping.

This is truly unfortunate as they had a good thing going - terrible customer service will be your downfall and ultimate demise if this is larger problem is not addressed.

NCIX is flat out ignoring my requests for contact and have effectively stolen my money. I have to now go through the credit card company.

I will no longer shop with NCIX and I will advise everyone I know to stay away from this terrible company.

Fake stock. Slow refund if ever.

crap. Showed all 3 items I need in stock. Took my money and shipped one item next week. Another item two weeks later. Then never shipped the third item. Contacted them and told me no stock and didn't know when will restock. Cancelled my order and requested a cheque refund. Another two weeks later the cheque was not shipped. By any standard, this company should just close. First and last time spent my money there.

If I could give this place zero stars I would but that isn't an option. Service is non existent here. When callling their number, you are put on hold. After calling their service line three times with the same result, I tried the sales line and it is answered but am told that service is off. So basically you are on hold waiting for someone who is not even there to answer the phone. Voicemail is not a new invention - after all it is 2017. On top of this, they will not even assist with dealing with a defective product purchased from them unless you purchase their service package. All they would do is say to contact the manufacturer. Needless to say, I will never purchase anything or bring anything for service here again.
