I signed up because I wanted to use the…

I signed up because I wanted to use the platform. The platform was very overwhelming so decided against using it. But it has been 2 years and their calls haven't stopped.
When I request them to call they become rude and tell me it is my fault I signed up. Super toxic company.

Non stop cold calling

I opened a demo account a long time ago with them, I never used it. They called me and we had a long discussion, I told them I am not interested in their service for now, and to please not call me again. Yet they keep calling me from different numbers so it's not possible to block, even though on each call I told them I am not interested. Reporting them to the authorities, but meanwhile, people stay away or use a disposable number to subscribe to them

They don't return your calls when…

They don't return your calls when signed up to the 'academy'. I literally sat in over on hour yesterday, waiting for 'Danish'(directly from his email, that he would call me at 10.15 to give a call; he didn't, and he didn't again today). Can I have my £100 credit card refunded please? I initially wanted to play around with the 'free' £10k, but was 'encouraged' to make a deposit. I'm not gambling away my life, and I want my money back. They tell you, it's not gambling, but it absolutely is.
Edit: When *DaNesh* (that's how it's pronounced) called, he claimed I was 'too busy' to take his first instruction -I never had that first phone call.
I've made a few quid on the dummy, but they have £100 of my money, real money. I want it back.

Signed up for a quick look

Signed up for a quick look, and initially i was like "This is alright, i might come back to this when i have more time"

Before i'd even had a chance to jump back on what proceeded was multiple phone calls, 3 of which were unanswered, but by the 4th i'd assumed it'd be something important so i answered.

It was Fortrade, and despite me saying on the phone not really interested and no time, they still tried to talk over me.

Unsolicitied phone calls have to be the worst sales tactic you can employ in todays standards.

No idea why or who thought it would be a good idea to start harrassing customers the moment they signed up, but that's enough to put me off ever coming back.

Anyone would think they're paid on how many clients picked up that day.. thats how desperate it felt.

A big NOPE from me.

P.S - Trading212 seem to have an appropriate level of communication, no phone calls and the odd informative email now and again, nothing like what was experienced here.

I had a very bad experience with…

I had a very bad experience with Fortrade. Their service is extremely unprofessional. My account margin was low, so I deposited money using my credit card expecting it to reflect immediately—just like it does with other platforms like Forex Trading. But Fortrade kept holding the money for over 24 hours multiple times, which caused my account to stop out. This seems intentional so they can wipe out the balance.
Also, this is not a true Canadian platform, even though it may appear to be. If you look closely, their trade commissions are much higher than other brokers. I strongly advise traders to be cautious. Based on my experience, I will never recommend Fortrade to anyone.

No proper response

I have been using Fortrade for a while now and had a simple query regarding my account usage. I sent a polite email to the Fortrade support team, my assigned account manager, and the representative (Arslan) who helped create my account.

It’s been several days, but I have not received any response from any of them — not even an acknowledgment. This is very disappointing for a platform that claims to be professional and regulated.

As a genuine client, I expect timely communication, especially when it comes to account-related concerns. If support doesn't respond even after multiple follow-ups, it raises doubts about the platform’s seriousness towards its clients.

I hope this review gets the attention of Fortrade’s team and that they improve their client support urgently.

Desperate "account manager"

I opened my account up four years ago and have never used it. Suddenly I'm receiving multiple calls a day from Bruno. Even after trying to tell him I'm not interested and that I want to close my account I receive the usual "read from a script response" whilst trying his hardest to lure me back in. I closed by account online and still received multiple calls per day, as well as now an email.

If you think that will work as a marketing technique you're wrong, phoning someone multiple times DAILY is just pathetic.

DO NOT INVEST WITH THESE

Started off good seems really helpful too called everyday sometimes annoying
Put a bit in to see profit quickly in first week
Put more in. Was always prepared to lose it as well as gain.
But few weeks in dodge things happened. Like my 50units had vanished!
I called up and they said we can see it out end. I said well it’s flagged red my end saying missing.
Within 5 minutes it was back.. very odd
Then Friday they called and said prices set to rise you gonna a be putting more in??
I said not sure. Glad I didn’t. I couldn’t access my account I was locked out. I called that said it must be you end. No I tried lots of ways.
Again while on call I could access it. I was trying to with draw and close all accounts you see. But it wouldn’t let me in long enough. By the time I closed I’d lost lots of money
Thankfully I didn’t put more in the Friday
Like I say I took a gamble. I was prepared to lose but the dodge activities leading to my withdrawal and still can’t access the remanding of my funds amd they locked me out my account

Harrassment that doesn't end

I warned them to stop calling me and take my details from their system and they wouldn't listen. I told the 3 times and warned them I would write this review. SO here it is. I would advise anyone to Avoid FORTRADE like the plague but some people need to learn the hard way. Your choice. They can now pay me reparation for the nuisance calls if they want a truce.

Harassment

Made an account one night just to have a look at the website over a year ago. I had no real interest; I made that clear the first time I was contacted. Despite this, I have been called off over 200 different phone numbers over the past year. I have repeatedly blocked them, but they keep coming back. Will not accept that I have no interest—complete and total harassment to the point where it has to be a scam. DO NOT give this website your phone number under any circumstances.

Repeated Unsolicited calls despite opting out

I signed up with Fortrade had a look, seen some shady reviews and then canceled my account within minutes. Since then, I’ve received three unsolicited calls over three weeks, despite clearly asking multiple times for my details to be removed and for the calls to stop.

On the third call, the rep said they were calling “to educate their clients.” Ironically, I’d now like to educate Fortrade on data protection laws.

Under UK GDPR, individuals have the right to erasure and the right to object to the use of their personal data, especially for marketing. Under PECR, companies must not make live marketing calls to anyone who has explicitly said they do not want to receive them.

Fortrade’s repeated contact, after I withdrew consent, appears to breach both sets of regulations. If I receive any further calls without my consent, I will be reporting the company to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Fortrade must take data protection seriously and respect individuals’ rights. Repeated unwanted contact after clear instructions to stop is not only unprofessional but it’s likely unlawful.

Had a demo account for about 18 months…

Had a demo account for about 18 months learning how to use the Fortrade Platform and how to trade FX in between my normal day job.
Fortrade rang constantly trying to get me to open a live account when I didn’t feel ready, so a lot of their calls were just ignored.
This week I made the mistake of taking their call. Spoke to a so-called accounts manager who explained, to be a good trader I would need regular market analysis daily, and if I deposit £100 on to the platform I would have access to the same information as professional traders.
Seemed cheap and fair, I sent the fee along with KYC information as they asked. I then get an email saying due to my account being inactive they have now decided to close it, and no sign of a refund.
All I had was a demo account, and I was using it daily, now the account is deleted I’ve lost all trading history including the P&L spread sheets which are really important, and £100 down.
The platform works well but the people working there are not traders and have no idea what they are talking about, they make their fees on your trades win or lose that’s why they push you to open a live account
The company is based offshore in Cyprus....Wonder why
