Ordered an Adidas track top
Ordered an Adidas track top. It arrived about a week later. I opened it, tried it on and it was a bit small so I immediately put it back in the packaging and returned it. When they received it back they said they could only give me a 50% refund as “ during quality control, we found that the item shows clear signs of wear and is dirty. Because of this, we cannot accept it back as a brand new and unused item for a full refund”. This is absolutely untrue. It was out of the package for probably less than a minute. I also asked them to send me evidence of the signs of wear or dirt and they have not provided it. They sent me the same email again yesterday (02/06/2026) and once again I asked them to supply me with evidence and I am still waiting. I definitely wouldn’t be buying anything from them again.
UPDATE
They Replied on Trust Pilot yesterday (16/06/2026). I asked for evidence of the so called dirt and they didn’t provide it. They are scammers. I also asked them to either send the jacket back to me or give me a full refund. What did they do? Sent me half the amount and kept the jacket.

Website misleading - No customer service!
Received the shoes promptly, but was disappointed to discover that footshop.co.uk lists US sizes on their website. Their website is misleading - this is only made clear on their returns page. Although their website states, 'If you choose the wrong size, we’d be happy to exchange it for you,' they don't do exchanges. I've tried contacting the company, but I only get automated responses to emails and chats. Their UK phone line is never open. I'll need to return the shoes, and if I want to order the correct size, I'll need to pay for shipping again. I should have ordered directly from the company and saved myself money and time!

These are new customs duties introduced by your administration for the import of goods into the US. We clearly state this information during the order creation process and before completing the purchase.
If you are interested in receiving the package, the customs duty must be paid.
If not, please let us know and we will contact the carrier to request cancellation of the delivery.

They charged me for a bot replying to my request
I received a pair of Adidas. Unfortunately the photos did not show that they were with fur inside, I wanted them for summer. So I wanted to return them. They use a return system with Packeta. I tried to find a Packeta point that accepts returns (as only few points accept returns), but it was difficult to find one. In addition, I wrote to footshop asking for help to find a Packeta point. A bot answered saying that they will charge me a fee of 13 RON for the help they provided, but did not give me any option for my request!

Fake Asics from Footshop
Bought a pair of Asics from Footshop. I saw that from the moment I reveived the package and tried them on that they were fake. I called customer service and complained but kept them. In a year I developed severe foot pain. I thought it was plantar fasciitis, went to several different doctors, physical therapists and thought that I probably had a new condition but for other reasons. Tiredness, age, knee problems etc. Threw the shoes out, bought new Asics from another store and the pain disappeared.
