Scary bad Cybersecurity
Looked through their code base. Their security protocols are terrible. Don't know if I could come up with a worse architecture design to buy/store/trust as my bitcoin holders

Banned forever and Fold refuse to explain why for security reasons. What a joke?

Been waiting a week for them to handle a basic customer service request. Tried multiple follow-ups. Switched after BlockFi CC blew up and was referred. Card supposedly on its way but communication has been poor. Not a good start and just may keep looking.

I had $6000 fraudulently withdrawn from my checking account without my authorization. A portion of that was immediately withdrawn by someone somewhere. Their fraud telephone number doesn’t work and I’ve received no reply to my email.

It takes too much time to spin the Satoshi wheel and reach the minimum amount to withdraw, but if reached apply for withdrawal they will surely pay you on Tuesday, I just got paid and the BTC is in my wallet now.
Too many fees. Do not use. There are better alternatives.
If I get a debit card I don't want to be penalized for not using it or have to pay for an activation. I'll just stick to my free Coinbase, Nexo, or crypto.com card (also higher rewards than Fold just Fyi)
Card needs major tweaks to justify price tag.
The idea of the fold card is great but the card itself and the app it uses need major upgrades for it to be a viable way to spend money. There really is no easy way to load the card, unless you want to be charged a 1% fee ( Apple or Venmo)which defeats the purpose of getting anything back for your purchases. The other (and free) way is an ACH transfer, which takes 2-3 business days, so your spending money is tied up for half the week while you wait for it to reach your card. A quick fix to this would be to do what Apple Cash and CashApp do, which are free instant transfers in app via a debit card, that would make this card a 10X better experience and worthwhile. The premium card ($150)is kind of a scam and most definitely not worth what they are asking for in its current form. your better off taking $129, buying a couple hundred thousand sats on cashapp, and taking the other $21 and getting the regular card to use for spending.the only thingyour really paying for is a .0001% chance at winning 1 BTC, and you get that with either card, the satback prizes are not worth paying a dime for considering there are Credit Cards that are free that offer cash back without hassle on all purchases. Probably the best thing you get with the premium card is actually something that isn’t out yet, which is apparently a free invite to a credit card that the App is releasing sometime in the future, a credit card would actually be worthwhile because they are just so much more convenient than debit cards, and if they offered a 2-3% cash back on all purchases along with a spin with the CC that would be a nice $150 dollars spent. They say they are working on these upgrades which is good but you do wonder why it’s taking so long to roll some of these vital features out, it has a little bit of a scammy vibe to it which isn’t a good image for the app and what they are trying to accomplish; rolling out free in app instant deposits should be like, top priority and they should be rushing that out ASAP, everyday they hold that back the card loses credibility. All in all, until these major logistical upgrades and the CC comes to fruition, the fold card will be in the back of my wallet; I’ll move it to the front when they make it easy to use. I also will be canceling account after my 12 months already paid for if the Credit Card doesn’t come out in that timeframe, $150 Is kind of a scam for a prepaid debit card that’s only half functional.
One of the best out there and with the easiest transactions ever.
I was skeptical at first, but after trying them out, the transaction went smooth and the vouchers are real and most importantly, they are working 100%. Thank you for providing such a amazing service and a great platform.
Keep up the good work.
