FM Property - “award winning developer”!
If it were possible to give -ve stars then it would be more accurate. Bought new build home from one of the many FM corporate entities (FM Dalnair Limited) in 2021. Within weeks of moving in we discovered multiple serious defects. Over a two year period many multiple serious structural defects were identified by independent surveyors and engineers as well as FM’s own staff. Had to decant three years ago as temporary certificate of occupation could not be renewed due to the seriousness of the defects. Have been in temporary accommodation for three years. Despite extensive documented acceptance of liability and personal promises by FM’s owner and director to resolve the situation we have had to raise a Court of Session action against the developer. Proof scheduled for September 2026 so can’t disclose details but will report back after the hearing.
