Considering 856 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people expressed significant dissatisfaction with the service, finding it to be poor and unprofessional. Customers frequently reported issues with the pricing structure, noting that advertised low fares often escalated significantly due to numerous additional charges for basic amenities. The staff were often described as unhelpful, cold, and at times rude, contributing to a negative overall impression. A strong consensus emerged regarding the lack of adequate customer service, with many struggling to get responses or assistance, particularly when problems arose. The booking process also caused frustration for some, especially when flights were cancelled or changed without sufficient notice or support.

Thanks Norse ....should be Nause.

Thanks Norse ....should be Nause.

You've just completely shafted me after i booked flights LAX-LGR back in November and you've just booted me and my family off the flight even though its not cancelled.

You don't fly from LAX beyond October so i must've been one of the first to book that route on that date ...and we've been hoofed off the flight in Premium ?

Disgusting ...will be looking to take legal action.

Disgusting experience

Disgusting experience following a flight cancellation and have been waiting 22 weeks now for compensation, despite escalating it through CEDR. Tried to fob me off so many times and still haven't been paid, despite agreeing. The customer service is beyond shocking and almost got scammed as people phone you impersonating them. Horrendous.

I would give 0 stars if I could

I would give 0 stars if I could. We booked a flight with Norse to Orlando on 27th February because we have always had good service with them in the past. However when we were waiting to load our bags at checking we asked if we could upgrade. They told us it would cost £517.54 which I paid. It turns out the flight never left Orlando and the staff were well aware of this. I understand that flights get cancelled and Norse did put us up in a hotel and we flew out the next morning. They did not honour our upgrade and with a fair bit of correspondence to them they have still not replied.

I had an extremely disappointing…

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Norse Atlantic Airways on my recent flight from Bangkok to Oslo.

We were seated close to the lavatories, and there was a strong, unpleasant smell throughout much of the flight. On top of that, this was an overnight flight, yet the cabin crew were loudly talking and even shouting to each other, making it nearly impossible to rest.

The overall service felt unprofessional, and communication was poor. For a Norwegian airline arriving in Oslo, it was surprising that the crew did not speak Norwegian or make any effort to communicate clearly with passengers.

Due to the situation in the Middle East, ticket prices were extremely high, and we paid far more than usual. Under these circumstances, I expected a much higher level of service.

I have contacted the airline multiple times regarding this issue but have received no response.

Very disappointing experience, especially considering the price.

An absolute scandal

An absolute scandal. The fact that Norse Atlantic is still allowed to operate flights is unbelievable. Repeated flight delays, outrageous extra costs, no real customer service, no refunds. They take your money and disappear. Zero respect for passengers — they clearly don’t give a shit about people. Avoid at all costs.

Take months to reply/refund

Our flight got cancelled which is fair enough because cape town didn’t have any fuel. our flight was first delayed to the next day then cancelled right before boarding , even though the fuel issue had been known for a few days. sent the claim for a refund and compensation because we had to buy a very expensive last minute flight. it’s been 5 months and am still waiting. they first said we will get a response in 6-8 weeks which didn’t happen. very unhappy with everything. wouldn’t recommend flying with them, had to fly with emirates and the difference between the services is insane!

Very poor experience and no customer service

Very poor experience with Norse Atlantic Airways.
On our 11.5-hour flight N0195 from Stockholm to Phuket, the electronics in our section failed about 15 minutes after takeoff. For the entire flight we had no lights, no ventilation control, no entertainment, and the onboard ordering system didn’t work.
Because of this, we couldn’t order any food or drinks during the whole flight, which was extremely uncomfortable on such a long journey. The crew acknowledged the issue and advised us to file a complaint.
However, after submitting a formal complaint, the airline has not responded for over 30 days. Very disappointing customer support and lack of accountability.
Would not recommend.

NORSE is WORSE then any other airline

Do not book this airline, booked Stockholm-Bangkok, the price was the same as booking Qatar, KLM or SWISS but with the difference that it was without a stopover i.e. direct flight and nothing is included during the flight. All the extras that are necessary during the flight turn out to cost extra. This is not clear when booking and is misleading marketing. The service is crap, check-in and flight attendants are rude and not happy, bag, food, blanket, pillow and headphones are extra. The entertainment system had to be started 8 grr during the flight and even if you travel with your children 14 and 15 years old you are not allowed to sit next to each other this also costs extra, all the extras end up being several 100 dollars more and the airline still does not live up to other more well-established airlines. I would gladly take a stopover to avoid this disgusting low-budget experience again. I felt so sorry for those who paid 500 dollars extra for premium that part of the cabin looks like a bad movie with only wider economy seats and zero premium experience.

THE WORST AIRLINE IN THE WORLD…….EVER!

THE WORST AIRLINE IN THE WORLD…….EVER!
Hopefully after our legal action against this cowboy outfit and subsequent social media and potential documentary on them, they will be named and shamed out of business.
Here’s an updated timeline on the rogue trader……..
1. Booked flights to Orlando. Realising a slight date error, due to their site crashing, we made the change within 24 hours, which should be free of penalty according to their T’s&Cs. They illegally charged us again!
2. While contemplating what to do next with our booking of 4, without notice cancelled our flight and gave us a new return travel date.
After asking what our options are, they advised we would receive a refund for the inconvenience.
Our response was, we will accept that part of the transaction providing the return leg does not impact our travel.
3. The upshot is now they have now cancelled our flight completely after spending 5 grand on economy fares…….plus our car has to be retrieved from LGW!

We honestly have not come across a more foolish and disorganised airline ever.

DO NOT BOOK WITH NORSE ATLANTIC…….EVER!

Flight cancelled with no notification or option to reschedule

I purchased a round trip ticket Rome-NY-Rome in Feb for $350. On 31 March I got an email from them saying my outbound flight was "disrupted" and they had automatically put me on a flight leaving two days later, literally the day before my return flight. In the alert email my return flight showed it was unaffected. I managed to reschedule to an acceptable date. But later, when reviewing my trip in their platform, my return flight appeared cancelled and no options was given to modify it. None. And I was not notified by email. Repeated loop conversations with Freya, their bot, took me nowhere, as she escalated every time for a human to email me -- which they never did. As with everyone else, I was left in limbo, with no email or phone number to resolve the situation. I finally ended up cancelling the trip, as I had no guarantee of being reimbursed what had now turned into nearly $900 priced outbound flights. Now the claims process in their portal is limiting, so I doubt I will ever see my money back.

Flew LGW-BKK and return

Flew LGW-BKK and return. Booked on the premium seats, which I would highly recommend great seats and plenty of leg room, all drinks included and you can order through the screen which was great, head phones, pillow and blanket given all included. Food wasn’t brilliant but overall ok I would just take plenty of snacks or you can order and pay from their hot food menu. Also on premium you have a good hand luggage allowance. No delays and overall a good flight would definitely book again on premium again for long haul

Rude, unhelpful staff, loads of hidden extras

Very disappointing airline – do not book.
We flew on a 7.5-hour flight from Orlando to Gatwick, and the overall experience was extremely poor. The staff were unhelpful, cold, and at times came across as quite rude.

Onboard service was extremely limited – even basic items weren’t included. You have to pay for headphones to access entertainment, and meals aren’t provided. Shockingly, we weren’t even offered a glass of water during the flight, which is unacceptable on a long-haul journey.

Staff acted as though we were an inconvenience rather than valued customers.

The only positive was that the flight departed on time.

Gatwick to Orlando return 3rd/9th April…

Gatwick to Orlando return 3rd/9th April 2026. Overall great experience. As long as you prepare with bringing your own headphones, food and water or are aware of the costs if you choose to buy through the airline.
Excellent service, no delays, legroom pretty good for a 6ft man, check in line moved steadily.
My only cons were: on the way there my seat had a lump in my back, made worse by the guy behind packing his netting full of bottles and whatever else. Also for me arm room was a bit sparse.
Overall decent experience - as with any long haul economy, just stick it out for 7-10 hours and look forward to getting there.

Flew LGW to BKK return.

Flew LGW to BKK return.
Great all round service, checking in at LGW and BKK on return were both faultless, quick and friendly. On board service was also faultless. Very polite, helpful staff from the minute we boarded. Regular drink runs throughout the 13 hour flight and good food service. We flew Premium both ways and the extra is definitely worth it. My husband is 6ft 3”, the seat and legroom was the best. Drinks can be ordered via your screen and arrive quickly with a smile.
The smallest of criticisms is it would be nice if you could track your flight to see what country you are flying over, but it certainly doesn't spoil your flight!
Thank you Norse and your fab crew. Would definitely use again.

God speed and good luck your going to need it

If you’re thinking about booking with Norse, don’t—unless you enjoy frustration, dead ends, and being completely abandoned the moment something goes wrong.

Their so-called “customer service” is an absolute joke. It’s nothing more than a painfully limited chatbot that seems specifically designed to avoid helping you. It loops through the same useless responses, ignores context, and offers zero real solutions. There’s no clear way to reach a human being, and if by some miracle you do get a reply, it’s cold, generic, and completely unhelpful—like they barely even read your issue.

You’re left stranded with problems that never get resolved, questions that go unanswered, and no accountability whatsoever. It genuinely feels like once they’ve taken your money, you cease to exist.

Booking with Norse isn’t just risky—it’s borderline reckless. You’re not buying a service, you’re buying a ticket into a black hole of support where the only thing you have to rely on is blind hope.

Good luck if you’ve already booked… you’re going to need more than that.

Their website doesn't work

Their website doesn't work. You choose an outbound flight and then you cannot book the return because it doesn't recognize that you have chosen an outbound flight. No CONTACT US page. No way to book a flight and no way to let them know. TERRIBLE experience
