Will never buy any flymo product again…

Will never buy any flymo product again and have informed all my friends - read the following and see what you think. Bought flymo simplistore 340 Li cordless rotary mower which was delivered October 2024 - for £195 - I haven't got a large garden. Around 2 weeks ago (March 2026) I used it to cut the front (there was still 1 bar left) after I'd finished - charged the batteries and tried a few days later but it was dead - after reading the reviews it appears there may be something wrong with the design - excellent product but doesn't last - would have been cheaper for me to employ someone to cut the grass - flymo attempted to sell me new batteries (nothing wrong with rge batteries) and advised me product is out of guarantee not very good complaints process

I bought the Flymo Easilife 350 from eBay.
The product arrived with a battery that needed replacing, (my fault for buyingn2nd hand) after I sorted this issue out everything worked for a while. As time went on it just got more and more difficult to get it to do the job.
It was such stubbon robot that I eventually gave up and got something else.
Th loop signal is always becoming damaged. It costs a lot of time to keep this robot running.
There is no one to talk to, no help what so ever from Flymo. Their product is rubbish.

I had the misfortune of buying a Flymo…

I had the misfortune of buying a Flymo Turbolite 260, after two years of use it broke down. I replaced the powerbox however this didn't rectify the problem. I tried to remove the motorhood to see if there was a reset button inside and to remove any grass clippings that might have caused it to cease working. To do this you have to remove the plate and blade which is secured by a large nut/bolt, however when using the spanner provided I ended up slicing my fingers on the blade.

Also I couldn't get the hood off, only one end unclipped, the other end is fastened down by screws I assume, which were hidden deep within the hood so impossible to know what kind of drill bit to use, despite using various screw bits on my power drill it remained locked and immovable .

This machine was speedily flung in my local tip. I would caution anyone buying this product. I would've expected it to last more than two years. It was well maintained from the date of purchase so I can only conclude it was defective from the start or poorly made. I've ordered a new mower by a different maker and hope it lasts longer than this dreadful one. I'd never buy another Flymo product again. It's left me out of pocket and with severe cuts of my fingers.

Flymo Hover mower problem solved

We bought a Flymo hover mower from Amazon. There was a problem and we couldn't undo a bolt while setting the mower up. I called Flymo who recommended a local company to help us. We went to company and they fixed the problem straight away. Flymo were very, very helpful !!!

The single most useless bit of kit I've ever wasted money on

I had the misfortune of buying a Flymo Mini Strimmer and I can say, without any fear of contradiction, that it is the single most useless bit of kit that I have ever wasted money on. I can fully understand why the local garden centre (Pickering) refuses even to stock it.

If I could give zero stars on Trust Pilot I would. Do not, whatever you do buy one of these.

Shocked at poor reviews my experience was 5 stars all the way!

I came on to write a review for my recent experience with Flymo and was shocked to see all the bad reviews. Obviously everybody has their own experience but mine was 5 stars all the way. I bought a battery operated lawnmower last August from their ebay store and only had the chance to use it once. Got it out this year to use it and one of the batteries was completely dead and would not charge. Wrote to their customer services and explained the situation, provided evidence of order and pictures of battery with its serial number etc. Next day I had a new battery and all's good. My warranty ran out this August so was just in time and brilliant service all round, for me how a company should support it's customers so cannot give less than 5 stars, and from my experience recommend Flymo battery operated lawnmower as a great product, thanks.

No customer service

No customer service. Amazon directs you to Flymo customer service but there isn't any - they don't respond to emails or calls?

Will be taking up by Amazon I suppose. Buy from somewhere that you can return it easily.

Flymo lawn mower

The mower, does not collect. The cuttings. I have a largish lawn. Trifle amount in the box. There is a flat lip on the base where the box sits. My previous mower, had a good well. So the box was a better fit. Also, the collapse for storing, was push in and fold. This was positioned halfway on the handles. Easy. Now you have to unscrew knobs, to get the collapse. This is obviously going to wear the thread. In fact today, my bolt came out. It actually bent. The plastic knob, no good. In fact it's rubbish. Such regret with the purchase.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.INFACT I WANT MINE BACK 🔙

Absolutely madness that iv rang nearly…

Absolutely madness that iv rang nearly 15 husqa dealerships and not one them sell your robotics lawnmower or even have the batteries inside them , instead all they wanted to do was sell me a ridiculous petrol ride on tractor 🚜 like how would I even get it into my garden and why would I even need it for a medium sized back garden? I'm so disappointed that iv spent nearly a thousand pound on a lawnmower and it's house and I can't even get a battery for it sent out in a timely manner , the levels of where Flymo should be in customer service clearly aren't there and as a consumer it's bitterly disappointing.

All I wanted was a replacement battery that's under warranty my advice is probably just buy a Lidl or Aldi robotic mower for a fifth of the price . Customer service is dreadful

Below 1* if I could!!!

Dreadful all round. My parents and grandparents always swore by Flymo and we've had several before this one. We bought a new mower last spring (2024). It blew up spectacularly a week ago. I have emailed warranty claims, no answer. I am currently on hold (last 90 minutes) same song playing on repeat, no updates. I have also sent another email while on hold. Doesn't look like we'll get a fix from them or even be able to speak to someone. I will be taking this further tomorrow lunchtime as I've given them 24 hours to contact me.
Give them a wide birth. Flymo has clearly gone down hill in quality and customer service. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Edit: I ended the call at 2.5 hours, still on hold at 2.30pm on a Monday which was their closing time!

Flymo EasiGlide 360 Hover Collect Lawnmower

Flymo EasiGlide 360 Hover Collect Lawn Mower - 1800W Motor, 36cm Cutting Width, 26 Litre Grass Box, Folds Flat, 10m Cable Length, Orange and Grey.

Absolute Zero star product. Fell to pieces after just over 2 years or 1 year of actual use. This product demonstrates the compete fall from grace of the Flymo brand. I read the reviews and thought it can't be that bad having owned previous Flymo mowers for over 35 years BUT no they were correct. Flawed design on nearly every point, it is obvious they don't test the products in the real world and now made from thin, flimsy cheap plastics. Contacted Flymo customer service, yep they are as bad as the Trust Pilot reviews etc say. Avoid answering the questions you ask and say its out of warranty, no spare parts available so buy a new one!! I provided pictures showing them the flat lawn that it has to cut and how could that cause the failure as shown in the pictures but they simply fobbed me off. I will provide the email responses if required.
Never again Flymo will you take a penny from me, keep doing what you are doing and do not be surprised at the demise of Flymo once customers take their hard earned money to better brands!

Appalling customer service.

Appalling customer service. The staff are rude and give the impression that they could not care less about their products or their customers. They completely ignore their own warranty terms and ignore their customers who complain about their products even when it concerns a safety issue. You cannot leave them a phone message because their answer machine is full of other peoples messages, also being ignored no doubt. Just do yourself a favor and avoid any dealings with them and do not buy any of their products.

Just bought a Flymo Hover Vac.

Just bought a Flymo Hover Vac.
Cheap and cheerful for my small lawn. Just try removing the bolt to release blade and add spacers to lower for closer cut. Won’t budge, presumably mechanically tightened.
Tried Customer Services: email bounced back, ‘mailbox full’, nor is phone answered.
Back it will go to B&M thankfully.

Worst Flymo Ever.

Bought the Flymo Easiglide Plus 360. When I took this home it was so disappointing. Started to mow my back garden lawn and there was more grass flying around instead of being collected in the grass collection box.
Done half the lawn and it died on me. I have always had a Flymo and my best one was the Ultra Glide. This has put me off from buying another Flymo. What has happened to them, they look cheap and nasty. Needless to say this was returned for my full refund.

I purchased a battery operated Flymo…

I purchased a battery operated Flymo lawnmower via the Flymo outlet on eBay. The ad said it had been checked over by the service department, the unit promptly arrived but it came with two well worn Gardena batteries. I thought it was suspicious but charged them up and cut the grass. I put the lawnmower away for winter during which time the limited warranty expired. Spring arrived and I cut the grass but I had to recharge the batteries part way through. I have struggled through several more cuts and contacted Flymo asking for replacement batteries, sorry the warranty has expired was the reply. So I have £160 down the drain, clearly the item was not fit for purpose. I wonder if Flymo customer services read these reviews?

Misleading and false - avoid flymo outlet on eBay

I purchased a Flymo easilife 350 from the "official" flymo eBay store which states very clearly that you are buying direct from the brand.
The unit failed immediately, I returned the unit, the seller didn't have anyone available to look at it, nor did they have replacement stock.
I approached flymo directly and they told me they don't support warranties for this reseller, despite them claiming to be flymo! Misleading and false marketing.

2 different flymos, absolute rubbish

If I could give 0 stars I would with a load of exclamation marks following.
Bought the 360v easyglide hover from homebargains after my other branded mowers motor went. Took it straight out being excited to use a flymo and it died 5 seconds after I began. It felt like cheap plastic but I assumed the reputation would justify that but no. Changed extension lead, fuse etc nothing. Took that back and bought the 300 easiglide version from Argos with slightly better reviews. Absolute waste of time too as it didn't pick up grass at all and left it blowing in my face, plus couldn't pull it back and could only go forwards. I returned that and went with a different brand. Customer service was excellent from both places and both said they have had nothing but returns with these.
