I recently completed the GSK modules with ross for my OOW 3000GT with this training company, and the standard of tuition was excellent. For GSK, the teaching was equally thorough. Complex topics were explained clearly and logically, with strong emphasis on applied knowledge rather than just theory. Overall, I would highly recommend this company to anyone preparing for GSK. The tuition was professional, structured, and clearly aligned with the syllabus.

Ross taught me for navigation and radar for OOW3000GT, enjoyed the lessons and passed my theory exam first time. I also used Ross for 1 to 1 oral prep for my OOW3000GT and really enjoyed his style of oral prep. I now have passed my MCA oral exam. Thanks again.

Last question in my exam was a question Ross and I went through the night before.

Simply brilliant

Ross was a great teacher both in the classroom where I met him for ecdis as well as nav and radar and also after when he helped me with my oral preps for OOW.

His long stint at sea shines through in his teaching so you get both the practical as well as the theoretical side of things.

Ross has a great track record of helping students get through their orals and I was delighted with my experience with him and have already recommended his services to other friends who also passed first Time.

He taught me nav radar and then I booked him for the oral prep and he was awesome sadly due to my own mistake I failed first time but he was so good I used him again and he was extremely supportive and professional through out

The second time round he knew exactly what ti do to prep me so that I wouldn’t make a silly mistake again

I had the pleasure to have Ross as my Nav and Radar and GSK teacher which was incredible and so I knew that he would be the best choice to prepare me for my Oral exam. Ross is very supportive, highly knowledgeable and knows what is required to pass. He is easy to work with and his teaching is very well structured and easy to follow which is very important when studying and gives you confidence and I therefore highly recommend using Flyingcolours!

I booked the full package with Ross to take me through my OOW 3000, feeling very overwhelmed and intimidated by the syllabus to begin with.
We started with weekly sessions going through everything, before increasing to recaps and mocks every other day in the last few days leading up to the exam.
By this time you get to know each other well and he’s able to tailor sessions to what you are weaker on.

And I honestly don’t think I would have been able to pass (especially 1st time) without his guidance.

Great knowledge, patience and a good laugh as well. Ross I look forward to catching you again for my masters!

I recently passed OOW 3000 first time, and I couldn’t have done it without Ross’ knowledge and patience. Also last winter I was worried about GSK and N&R. Luckily I met Ross who was able to not just get me through the exams, but understand it and go in confident to pass.

The syllabus is huge and intimidating, and I wasn’t sure how to tackle it efficiently. So I booked the full package which really helped me get through the syllabus, but Ross’ expertise will guide you through how to break it down and coach you in what’s really important.

As the exam was approaching, the final few sessions is were it all really came together. A mixture of sessions focusing on weaknesses, pass/fail questions and mocks will get you through the exam. Ross by this stage knows you and knows what you should be focusing on. This flexibility and tailored approach to oral prep was key to me passing the exam.
