We were flying from Calgary to Toronto, staff was very rude, arguing with passengers, especially one ugly, old nasty woman with sour face. No smiles given, not even "hello" or "goodbye" It feels like... See more

Worst customer service ever i had ….not…
Worst customer service ever i had ….not answering the call from last 1 hr …continuously m on phn line …
This is my first time using this…
This was my first time flying with this airline, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The overall organization and customer service were far below my expectations.
After paying for my luggage, a staff member rudely removed my baggage tag and left me feeling as though I had done something wrong or was being accused of not following the proper process. The interaction was both embarrassing and unprofessional.
As a first-time customer, I expected to be treated with respect and provided with clear guidance. Instead, I was left frustrated by the poor customer service and lack of professionalism displayed by staff.
Based on this experience, I do not plan to use this airline again
Exceptional Customer Service
On May 18, 2026, I was flying with Flair Airlines from Abbotsford, British Columbia to Edmonton, Alberta. Somewhere between leaving the security screening area and boarding my flight, I lost my laptop. Despite my own efforts and the help of several airport security staff, we were unable to locate it, and I had to board the plane believing it was gone.
The next day, I filed a missing items report with Flair Airlines, though I assumed the chances of recovering my laptop were very slim. To my surprise and relief, on May 25, 2026, I received a call from a Flair Airlines employee informing me that my laptop had been found. I was then connected with the Baggage Services Department, where the team went above and beyond to assist me.
The staff in Baggage Services were exceptional. They guided me through the process with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care, ensuring that my laptop would be shipped safely back to my home. Thanks to their efforts, it arrived on June 2, 2026, in pristine condition.
I want to express my sincere gratitude to the employees involved. Their dedication, communication, and outstanding customer service turned a very stressful situation into a positive experience. They truly went above and beyond, and I am incredibly appreciative of their help.
Never Fail To Disappoint !
Booked a ticket on a Monday which was confirmed and it was cancelled by Flair on the Tuesday, because prices changed. This was going to be me giving Flair a second chance after a horrendous experience 4 years ago - will never use them again.
A zero-star airline.
A zero-star airline.
Make it possible to rate a business zero star. This airline deserves it. The staff are incompetent. I travelled from Toronto Pearson airport and return back to it from Edmonton. The check-in experience for the same Flair Airline is totally different. If I could bring items A, B and C with me from Toronto, they wouldn't let me with the same A, B, and C items when I tried to go home from Edmonton. I had to throw away a lot of our infant's food, diapers, because we needed to fit our same clothes we brought from Toronto somehow. We didn't go shopping. We didn't buy any new clothes. The staff are literal NPCs. Zero empathy, zero agency to serve the clients to help their day better. The lady I was dealing with still had the thought to tell me "I'm trying to make your day better" and I replied back "well, you are not making it better and you're making it worse instead."
I'm never flying Flair Airline again. If you want to keep your stupid rules instead of customers, so be it. We'll go elsewhere. I've flown Air Canada, AA, UA, Delta and I've not had such a poor service before. I couldn't believe my eyes how they're still in operation.
DO NOT FLY with FLAIR AIRLINES!!
Do not ask for a napkin!!
I tried to check in online 24 hours before my flight but received a system error telling me to see the airport desk. When I arrived, the desk agent told me I had an outstanding balance. I explained that this was for the Mexican tourism tax, which had already been refunded, but their system was incorrectly flagging it as unpaid.
The agent was incredibly rude, showed zero empathy, and refused to help. She literally rolled her eyes at me, gave me a horrible attitude, and told me to just go online and pay it or talk to her manager.
I asked for the manager, who immediately understood the situation, fixed the system error, and apologized. While the manager handled it well, the initial agent's hostility and laziness were completely unacceptable. If your system glitches, your front-line staff should help solve the problem, not attack the customer.
During the same flight, I asked a flight attendant for a couple of napkins. She responded with a terrible attitude, handed me a single napkin, and told me that next time I should just go to the lavatory and grab toilet paper instead.
I was stunned. I know Flair is an ultra-low-cost carrier, but this level of cheapness and disrespect is unbelievable. The staff is hostile, poorly trained, and completely lacks any sense of basic customer service. It was an awful experience from start to finish.
All I can say disappointment
All I can tell you is, the worst experience ever I had , first time and last time with Flair
Worst experience in my life
Worst experience in my life
Worst airline in existence
Lawsuit on the way.

Let's not let the Blackrock owned Flakey companies put our lives in jeopardy any more and fleece us for carrying a squirrels napsack for 111$!!!!
I was attacked by a samali pirate for bag after I paid 220$ for oversize

No water
O fks given 0 customer service
I had an anxiety attack with sauna tin can from hell with a dozen babies and 3rd world experience
Never again
Never again. This is by far the worst airline I have ever traveled with. Their pricing is consistently misleading, and their website barely functions. Our entire experience was a complete disaster from start to finish.
Customer service incorrectly booked our accommodations and gave us one room instead of the TWO we paid for. Despite repeated complaints, the issue was never resolved. Every time we contacted customer service, calls were either disconnected or agents hung up on us, and promised callbacks never happened. The staff were unprofessional, unhelpful, and extremely difficult to communicate with.
To make matters worse, we received multiple “discount” emails for luggage fees, yet none of the links actually worked. Charging $130 for a small carry-on bag is outrageous and unacceptable. I have traveled with much larger luggage on other airlines and have never been charged anything close to that amount.
This airline is disorganized, deceptive, and completely lacking in customer care. I will be sharing this experience everywhere possible and making sure everyone I know avoids this airline entirely.
Shady and poor service
Do
Not fly with this airline, poor services, shady bag fees and incredibly rude staff. We will never fly with them again, happy to spend the extra money and choose west jet, porter or air canada
The worst airline I have ever seen
I have traveled to many places since 1997, and this is the worst airline I have ever seen. This is my first time traveling with Flair, and it will definitely be my last.
Are the pilots properly trained?
The plane came in way too fast for it's landing. The gentleman sitting beside me, as we touched the ground, said "oh no, he's going too fast. He's going too fast." The pilot had to hit the breaks so hard it sent everyone flying forward. The people behind me had to brace on the back of my seat. I wasn't able to brace in time. My entire body hurts today. Feels like I ran a marathon.
Terrible experience with Flair…
Terrible experience with Flair Airlines. They damaged my bag on the first flight from San Francisco to Vancouver, then lost my luggage on my connecting flight to Montreal after a one-hour delay. After waiting 45 minutes at the carousel, we were told our bags were left in Vancouver. When we asked for an estimate, the supervisor became aggressive, insulted us with swear words, shouted at us, called security, and started recording us. I spent over an hour on hold with customer service. I have valuable items in my luggage with no delivery timeline. Complaints filed with Flair and the CTA.
On top of all this, their policies are a complete scam. They randomly assign seats to family members who check in at the same time, separating them and force them to pay in the plane if there are available seats. They are extremely aggressive about bag sizing and charge for absolutely everything. They charge unreasonable amount of money for the luggages and never provide the service. Want to check in at the airport? That's an extra $34. Want to book by phone? Another $25. They lure you in with low fares and then nickel-and-dime you at every step. This is not a budget airline — it's a trap. Avoid Flair Airlines at all costs.
WORST customer service I have ever…
WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I will never fly Flair again. The hassle and lack of service is not worth the small savings and you will end up spending way more if you have unexpected luggage. I planned to fly with just a carry on, but a hurricane hit Jamaica two weeks before so my workplace put together essential donations and I had two extra bags. The app didn't work to pay for the bags in advance, got charged extra for checking in at the country, check in was a disaster even though I arrived hours ahead of time, staff was rude (and in their defense exhausted from dealing with such a terrible check in with literally every customer). Filed a customer service complaint where they took more than 6 months to respond to despite 5 follow ups from me. Ultimately, they refused to refund any of the services fees (there are more details here, but I won't bother to get into it all) because the staff at the check in desk made no notes about the issues (as if that's my responsibility?). I won't be escalating this - 5 emails and 2 phone calls was enough of my time wasted, but I will never book a flight with Flair again and will make sure my friends/ family know that the potential to save maybe 10% just isn't worth the hassle of dealing with such a poorly run airline.
Do NOT pay extra for extra leg room…
Do NOT pay extra for extra leg room from rows 2-6. My knees still hit the seat in front and I’m only 5’4 for 40.00 for the seat! Row 1 for $45.00 is the only row plus exit row seating that has extra leg room. I asked to switch to exit row as no one was sitting in them and they wanted 20.00 more. So 60.00 for a seat!!! Kick rocks Flair, I will never travel your no frills airline again. The extras put the price up to a regular flight with other airlines!!!
I had one of the worst customer service…
I had one of the worst customer service experiences with Flair Airlines.
My original booking was from April 2 to April 6 (Edmonton to Toronto return). Due to changes in my plans, I needed to shorten the trip and reschedule my return to April 5. I called on April 1 to make the changes. Since it was originally a short trip, I had already paid for checked baggage, but after shortening the trip I no longer needed luggage.
During the first call, the agent told me the baggage could be removed and I would receive a credit valid for 12 months. She also kept reminding me I only had a few hours to decide, which felt rushed. I told her I would think about it and call back.
When I called again to finalize the flight change, I was suddenly told that nothing could be done about the luggage because once added it cannot be removed. I explained exactly what the previous agent had promised me. The second agent then said they would review the recorded conversation and call me back with a credit if the first agent had indeed promised it.
Because of that assurance, I traveled WITHOUT the luggage I had already paid for.
Nobody ever called me back.
After 10 days, I followed up myself and started getting excuses instead of answers. I was again told a manager would call me within 48–72 hours. I had to make multiple calls repeating the same story over and over, and still nobody resolved the issue or honored what was promised.
On top of that, every single time I called Flair Airlines, I had to wait on hold for at least an hour just to speak to an agent. Spending hours and hours waiting on the phone only to get no resolution made the entire experience even worse.
The amount of time wasted, lack of accountability, and poor communication was extremely frustrating. If an airline promises a customer something, they should stand behind it instead of making customers chase support for weeks.
Very disappointing experience and definitely not the level of customer service passengers deserve.
I am beyond frustrated with my recent…
I am beyond frustrated with my recent experience flying with Flair Air. If you are traveling as a family, be warned: this airline makes it nearly impossible to stay together.
Despite checking in online, our family was scattered across the plane. While I understand that budget airlines charge for seat assignments, the level of inflexibility we encountered on board was shocking. When we tried to switch seats with other passengers—who were completely willing and happy to move so we could sit with our children—the flight attendants stepped in and stopped us.
The most upsetting part was the behavior of the air hosts. They were actually yelling at passengers who were simply trying to reach a mutual understanding to help a family sit together. It was unprofessional, aggressive, and created a very tense atmosphere for everyone involved.
It felt like the airline was more interested in enforcing "seat purchase" rules than in basic customer service or common sense. I will not be flying with Flair again—the low fare isn't worth the stress and the disrespectful treatment from the staff.
“Flight Cancelled, Zero Customer Service, No Responsibility or Compensation”
Absolutely terrible experience with Flair Airlines.
Our flight was cancelled literally hours before departure, almost causing us to miss our Caribbean cruise and causing us to lose our non-refundable hotel reservation. The stress, financial loss, and disruption this caused to my family was unbelievable.
What made the experience even worse was the customer service. Every time I contacted Flair, I had to explain the entire situation again because different representatives clearly were not reading previous conversations or reviewing the evidence properly.
Instead of taking responsibility and handling the situation professionally, the process became exhausting, repetitive, and extremely frustrating. Communication was disorganized, responses were inconsistent, and resolving even simple issues took countless emails and follow-ups.
To make matters worse, Flair provided absolutely no compensation for the damages and losses caused by their cancellation.
Very poor customer service, poor communication, and zero accountability. This has easily been one of the most frustrating airline experiences I have ever had.
I will never fly with Flair Airlines again and would strongly caution others before booking with them.
Flair airlines robbed me with the law…
Flair airlines robbed me with the law on the hand, it means a "legal robbery". I am from Mexico and we do not use our second last name, so I did not put it in the reservation. Then just before to enter to the plane they told me I have to pay 131.00 canadian dolars because it was a difference between my name in the reservation and my name in my ID.
Of course I will never ever fly again with flair airlines.
Flair Airlines is a corrupt airline…
Flair Airlines is a corrupt airline corporation whose policies directly prevent consumers from using their travel vouchers or credits towards new flights. Don't give this airline your money unless you want to over pay for flights just to use your previous credit. I paid Flair their cancellation fees to cancel round trip flights when life happened and I was unable to travel, I lost 85% of what I had paid doing so, but 15% was redeemable to a future travel credit. I can travel again and tried to apply this 15% future travel credit to my new itinerary, but when booking through the original reservation, it will only let you book a one way trip, not a round trip, even though a round trip was cancelled previously. I tried to call to ask for assistance, was told no worries, start a new reservation and we will transfer the future travel credit to that reservation. So I made a new reservation, called back to apply the future travel credit to the new reservation, as I was instructed to do, and then was told I wasn't allowed to transfer the future travel credit to the new reservation. I was instructed to apply the future travel credit to a one way trip, and just book a one way trip home again. How convenient for them because if you have to book two one way trips to get home again, you have to pay 1.5-2x more for the same flight just because you are only doing a one way trip, instead of a round trip. On top of that, there "policy" prevents these future travel credits from applying on any flight routes that have current promotions on them. This again is ridiculous, because why should you be prevented from being eligible for the current promotional route fares just because you have a credit with them from past changes. Is this not essentially a gift card since this money is yours that you paid previously and what is remaining from the fees you had to incurr from cancellation? If you already pay the penalties to cancel, you should be allowed to use the remaining for whatever purprose you want with that airline. You shouldn't be excluded from current promotions simply because you have a previous credit. I am done flying with Flair Airlines, and will be sure to warn everyone I know of their policies that prevent people from what they are entitled too.
