Avoid like plague. Added £79.96 in 'service charges' to my bill for flights using KLM *after* I'd entered all my credit card details. There was no way to reverse this booking. I called my credit card company immediately, and they won't stop the payment. I have to raise a dispute after FLY24 have taken the money!! I will also be contacting the fraud office to try to get them shut down. Appalling website. Perhaps there's something in the miniscule small print about this, but right up to the point when you put your credit card details in, you only see the flight price and charges they DO make you aware of. Shockingly bad experience!
I have booked 2 tickets from Manchester to Dalaman using Turkish Airlines via Istanbul. The process was fairly straightforward with good flight times and prices. However, the sting comes AFTER all payment has gone through. No where was I informed that I would get charges of £79.96 added onto my flight cost. Absolutely disgraceful of the company to deal in this underhanded way. I will definitely never use them again and urge others to think twice.
Please be very careful when using this web site i got stung £40.00 for booking a flight. the statement says we'll find the cheapest flight for you they don't its the same price as the main flight operator, then when you have paid they charge you for using the web site in my case £40.00 i will never use them again my advice stay away save your self £40.00
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!
No where during the process of booking did it say we would be charged such a ridiculous amount. What a rip off, you should be ashamed of yourselves. How about being transparent about your " service charge", £40 is extortionate to book one flight, that is a 50% surcharge.
Tried to pay for 2 flights to Norway (cost £95 each) with my (MasterCard) debit card so as not to incur credit card charges. Their website automatically redirected my card to a credit card payment, presumably because the only debit card they accept was VISA. Upshot was an additional £30 each (why 2 charges???!!!) for using my debit card. Even if I did err in using my MasterCard debit card, how can they justify £60 for paying for the flights via their website? That's a 35% increase in our flight costs. What an absolute rip-off.
Terrible website, do not use, we were charged £80 more than the total price displayed when entering the credit card details. Our lawyer is going to sort this out for us.
I was charged 90 GBP for the pleasure of using the website. There was no indication of this when I was booking the three flights to Malaga. Had I booked on the Easyjet website - I would have paid nearly 100 GBP less.
Phoned Customer Service at 51p a minute - spoke to a completely non responsive man who told me that the service charge was for using their website.
Absolutely disgusting - do not use!!!
Another rip off travel company, got to the checkout and besides the crazy credit card charges there was an additional £50 'service charge'. What is that for? I went to a different company.
I have tried book a flight 2 weeks ago.The reason I could't book my flight through the company is that my bank stopped the payment going through as a fraud prevention measure. Then I checked the company website through some safety checking websites. They showed it's very risky to use the website. After 3 weeks they took 100 pounds from my bank account without my agreement!
It is totally unacceptable for them to impose a cancellation charge when I was unable to even complete the transaction. I have booked many plane tickets from many companies and have never seen such an unfair and ridiculous rule. No reputable company would behave like this.
Their website had a good overview over flight possibilities which made it easier to pick the one that best suited me. The booking system was very easy and fast, I had no trouble at all with anything. Even later one I received follow- up e- mails giving me again the details of my flight. I am very pleased and will definitely keep checking FLY for my future flights.
