Avoid this company at all costs
Avoid this company at all costs. They make the rules up as they go along. I have been on the phone for an hour this morning (most of that time on hold) and have been told completely different stories (lies) by different members of staff. If I want to cancel, I will only get £25.43 for the 7 months remaining. I am considering cancelling to make a point although it will cost me. I will definitely not be renewing with such dishonest unscrupulous people.

I've been with this company, with two cars, for a couple of years. The one frustrating thing that really annoys me, is that every time I try to log on to my account it fails. This has nothing to do with my password (I have a password manager) but it fails and I have to call them.
Today they did not answer my call so I put the phone down.
I'm not renewing with them next time.
I want to look at my insurance documents, online, and without having to dig the paperwork out first in order to login.

Blackbox is very annoying, and cancelled my insurance
Blackbox is very annoying, it is attached to the windscreen and you have to charge it every few weeks, meaning a wire is coming across the car, also drains battery. Also means you’ll frequently get texts stating it needs charging. Also I had my insurance cancelled by this company even tho my auntie is insured on my car and she was using it, it was just parked at her house, I now live there and they use that against me and say it’s because I didn’t change my address?! I now have to pay a lot more for my insurance and I’ve cancelled it with this company.
Quotation request
Requested a quote from a general classic car website to be told Adrian Flux would be the ones to call me back, fine I thought.
Missed a couple of phone calls and a message was left, was going to phone them back when I had a bit of time.
From then, I received 10 calls in 15 hours and a further 3 voicemails, plus a text. Talk about aggressive selling.
I answered this morning and advised the woman on the end of the phone that 10 calls since yesterday afternoon was ridiculous and she hung up.
Good job Adrian Flux, won't even be considering you next time, disgraceful.
Be careful they get you to change…
Be careful they get you to change things from the original quote then charge you extra. They also charge you an admin fee for changing it. Only go with these if you have to.
Very disappointed with this company
Very disappointed with this company. I used them when I was a learner driver and it was great, no hassle switching over when I passed my test. However, when I got new insurance with them I got it with a blackbox. I have had problems with my blackbox for the last 6 months with it going dead everyday even when I charge it the day before and I am now struggling charging it all together. I have connected it to the mains and my computer and it still won’t charge. The red light is on and says it is charging but it is not. Customer service were no help after I rang them repeatedly about it and now I am stuck with a dead black box and the possibility of my insurgence getting cancelled. DONT USE!
Ridiculous
Ridiculous, at normal insurance provider you don't pay for canceling your insurance as they have made money on you and you didn't used their service so free money for them, but at Adrian flux you need to pay cancellation fee based on how much you have left (£160 in case of £800 left). Customer service is completely useless as well.

Absolutely awful avoid by any means I had car insurance with this company back in 2017 I had a hit an run incident and was told I was liable because there’s not another party involved as they fled the scene, I then had the wait almost 2 months before I was sent to a garage to fix the damage I was given a courtesy car and then was accused of damage I didn’t do they then made a claim off my insurance and flux direct paid out £2,600 for a scratch that was there before due to this I can now get no insurance at 20 and also I have a little one and it’s affecting my day to day schedule as I have a vehicle I cannot drive

Absolutely shocking excuse for a company. Aggressive and rude customer service people working the phones. Then charge you and excessive amount of money to cancel the policy they are trying their hardest not to give you.

If you need insurance for someone who has just passed their test AVOID
If you need insurance for someone who has just passed their test, don't use this company, especially if you need to have a black box fitted. They will cancel your policy at a whim and it will cost you more than £400 for the pleasure. There is no option to challenge the data being collated by the black box, even though there are numerous reports of black boxes transmitting the wrong data. Wish I'd done more research for my son.

Yet this insurance company have put a suspension on his insurance. He has told them several times the black bow is inaccurate yes he us young but he has become so responsible yet insurance company will not send another black box instead just suspended him.he doesn't argue or shouts and just days ok because he is a respectful boy.So sad when they bully young lads.like my son

The worst customer experience I’ve ever had. Took my money! Then I was contacted by a rude staff member a load of questions. I asked for my documents to be sent they advised me they was validating the insurance I was fine with that, and then advised me I wasn’t passing their checks and they suggested I was lying. One example was she said I was associated with more than one address. I said I live at ..... (where I was taking out the van insurance) and I rent out another property. (Nothing to do with the insurance for my van.) She said ‘that’s unusual’ ...where on the website was that specific question? And how is being a landlord breaking the law? Then I get told I have to pay a cancellation fee! Ridiculous unprofessional company, can tell they are thieves and time wasters!

Very quick, very clean and the cost is not excessive. Let's face it, insurers are mostly a legal mafia these days. They find every way they can to wriggle out of paying, but we are legally required to have it. I've never had any problem with Flux Direct. I'm not accident prone (thank goodness) so rarely need to talk to them, but when I do they're very efficient, polite and thorough. They email me in plenty of time to renew, they don't overcharge (certainly not as much as others I've checked out) and you don't seem to suffer a penalty for staying with them (which makes a change!).
