It is easy to understand what to play, and it helps you learn to read sheet music.

One of the most important aspect of learning a musical piece is when to prepare for the next finger positionning for the next notes on both hands. This makes learning essential. This should be included in the intermediate and advanced sections.

Ideal piano course for adults - I appreciate features such as separate hand practice, wait mode and video above sheet music, indicating notes to be played. The range of songs is fab. As an adult who’s been learning for just over a year, I find the Beginner and Intermediate levels just right. I found a previous, other app a tad childish and appreciate the adult look and feel of the Flowkey app.

I am relearning the piano after a 50 year absence. It is easy for me to go at my own pace and replay as often as I need. It is fun and I hope good for my brain to try and coordinate both hands.

I find flowkey so easy to use and navigate. I enjoy the lessons and they are easy to follow.

I had a simply piano subscription for a year and that provided a really good base. But flowkey has much more to offer for intermediate learners. I found sp very bossy in telling you which finger to use for which note! Flowkey just leaves you to it, but the watch along video of a grown up means you can copy them if you keep getting tangled.

Any chance of getting some Lewis Capaldi tunes?

My only criticism is that the payment in the past had more songs now I cannot access all the songs without paying more.. apart from that amazing app!

I love the features of practicing sections at a time and one hand or both, and also the slow or wait features!😁👍🏻 Sometimes the app doesn’t hear the sound or hear it correctly. That’s the only drawback.

There is a question I have: Do you have Flowkey for harmonica or flute or violin? It would help since I am learning harmonica now as well!😁👍🏻

I am a returning beginner at age 74. The Beginner and Intermediate lessons have boosted my confidence and refreshed my skills. The guided songs and exercises are very helpful as they provide immediate feedback and reinforcement, and break the song down into component parts. I feel a sense of mastery when I complete
a song. Thank you for these thoughtfully constructed lessons. Flowkey is much more patient than my long-ago IRL teacher!

Very limited number of songs. I would rather to have more and more popular songs with easy level.

I installed flowkey in July to begin my journey on how to play the piano. I had no experience and I am 45 years old. As of today, two months later, I'm working through module four and have learned so much from flowkey application. I have installed on my ipad and just yesterday, I installed on my android phone so when I travel, I can still practice piano. This is a lot of fun!

Very motivating tool. Nice songs. Unfortunately not all pieces show the fingering and the articulation of the songs. The key recognition works quite well, but in case of accords the system does not always recognize the played keys. I hope the developers continue to develop the app.

A good, well covered learning method.

Easy to understand and fun. However very expensive

I love this app. I basically learned piano from scratch with it and after only two years I play most intermediate or even some expert songs.
I need to connect the tablet to the audio output of the ePiano though.
Without, e.g. with a real piano, it doesnt always get the notes, especially accords.
It could have some more contemporary, modern songs, thats why I only rate it with 4 stars.

Not enough songs/music. The program quite often does not gecognize the sound, though the sound played properly.

Great product, practice makes perfect and with flowkey thats all youll be doing, practice practice practice.

This app is perfect for learning keyboard and learning new songs. Works perfectly with my Yamaha PSR ERW 425

Great way to learn the piano. My only gripe is that for the subscription money I would expect a much bigger catalogue of songs. There are some really good ones, but not as big a choice as I'd like to see. And some of the songs I would really like to learn are just snippets of the song, such as 'imagine'. Why isn't the full song on there? And 'forever young', why is there only a basic version?
