Had two separate transactions
Had two separate transactions. One was fully paid on due date. Missed a payment (just once) on the second one with monthly equal payments and they charged interest on both transactions like nothing was ever paid. Now they adjusted the RIDICULOUS and no basis interest --- still not justified!
BAD SCAMMERS!!!!!
Got a loan from them
Got a loan from them, set up the payments for the year, for some reason the payments stopped with 2 payments left on the account, no one contacted me, they didn't receive payments for 3 months, no one contacted me; I thought it was paid off. Got slapped with a 23% interest charge for the FULL AMOUNT (not remaining balance). I called and said "hey, I'm sorry this happened, this should have been paid off, I have a history of good payments, and the interest was only charged a week ago, can we waive the interest and i will pay in full right here on the phone and they said "we can help you, but we won't because you failed to honour your contract."
Well they can go to hell honestly if they are going to be like that. Their customer service is garbage and I'll never use them again.
WE HAVE BEEN SHOPPING AT THE "BRICK"…
WE HAVE BEEN SHOPPING AT THE "BRICK" FOR 20 YEARS. MY ROOMMATE, "SHEILA," HAD AN ACCOUNT THERE FOR DECADES. BANQUE DESJARDIN WAS THE FINANCIAL INSTITUTION WE USED. IT WAS I WHO PAID EVERY BILL, AND THE TOTAL WAS ALMOST $10KI PAID OFF THE TOTAL AS SHEILA MOVED TO ANOTHER APARTMENT AND TOOK ALL THOSE FURNISHINGS WE NEEDED 4 APPLIANCES. ALTHOUGH I WAS THE ONE TO PAY OFF THOSE BILLS, MY CREDIT SCORE WAS LESS THAN PERFECT. FLEXIT FROM T.O. TOOK OVER AND DECLINED MY APPLICATION. WE WENT RIGHT TO "TANGUAY," AND IT TOOK LESS THAN 30 MINUTES FOR THOSE SAME PIECES TO BE PURCHASED. BECAUSE SHEILA DIDN'T HAVE 2 SEPARATE PHOTO ID'S, SHE GOT TURNED DOWN FROM FLEXIT. THE TOTAL WAS $5K AT TANGUAY. WE'LL NEVER GO BACK TO THE "BRICK" DUE TO THIS VILE FINANCIAL INSTITUTION!!
Misleading promises from the Leon's…
Misleading promises from the Leon's store on zero interest when Flexiti start charging extra interest out of nowhere even when paying the prorated amount in 12 months or 24 months.
What a mess
What a mess. If you live rurally dont bother applying. Their system doesnt accept anything but residential addresses. No PO boxes, no land locations or when you put in any other address- even a family members address it wont accept it. Then they'll have you verify your ID 3 times woth selfies and confirm you have mail sent to that address alternative address. Then they'll want you to verify your actual address since the residential address is its different than your ID. But your ID has to have your land location not your PO box and mail goes to a Po box. See the problem? You can't actually verify your address. Wasted hours dealing with them. Finally gave up and cancelled.
Harassing phone calls
Harassing phone calls. Called me 5 times in a single day and 17 times in one week just because of one slightly overdue payment. There is no way this is legal.
WARNING!
WARNING!! Do NOT ever ever use this company. Its a trap and they scam people who do the right thing and pay. Aggressive interest rates that can balloon over 200% above the original loan after the loan amount is paid in full. These guys are huge scammers and use lenient credit grey areas to get away with scamming people out of their hard earned cash. The government should do better to not allow for this type of business to have any place in society. I know one day they will get their time in front of a class action lawsuit from the credit they damage and people they "legally" extort. I would never ever reccommend using this company. Completely unhinged and predatory to the max.
If I could give them 0/5 I would
If I could give them 0/5 I would. They are a very deceiving company and the statements DO NOT align with when your payment is due. Don't fall in that trap. You need to scroll down to the fine print on page 3 to pay on a certain date not follow the billing statements like you do for every other bill that you receive. It's a cash cow and wish we never signed up with them. I paid my balance showing on my statement before my payment time and was still charged the interest on the deferred payment because their payment dates do not align with the statement date which is very misleading. Who would know that it wouldn't be on the next statement but by the time you get the next statement it is already too late. Very poor business practises and will be reporting them along with many others who have experienced this same issue. It's all great until they deceive you with the statements…
It's all great until they misguide you with their statements stating minimum payment of $0 due until after the due date, then they send you statements with interest added. Their payment due date DOES NOT reflect the actual payment due date. Word of caution to those who use Flexiti: make sure you pay the money within the time period mentioned when the agreement is signed. and do not rely on their statements. It's purposely deceiving, just so they can rip you off with their interest. I will be filing a case with BBB and Consumer Protection Act against them.
DECREASED MY CREDIT LIMIT WITHOUT…
DECREASED MY CREDIT LIMIT WITHOUT NOTICE, asking me to reapply for a hard credit check. Worker was rude as ever! Want me to ruin my credit and reapply for initial credit limit I was already approved for. Scam artists!

Warning Do not use these guys they will nickle and dime you to death .
Rude customer service and staff!
Rude customer service and staff!! Will never recommend to anyone 😡
They will ruin your credit without notice
I have been a loyal Flexiti customer for over 2 years. I was given a $7000 credit limit. I have enjoyed the 0% Interest on selected purchases and have ALWAYS fulfilled my obligations, never missed a payment, paid off my balances and consistently used my card.
I recently paid off my couch purchase and took advantage of a special deal Staples had on a lower end laptop. The next day, I recieved a notification from my credit monitoring system telling me my credit factors have changed. I logged in only to find that my credit utilization has jumped to 80% and that the my available credit for Flexiti is now $200. I contacted Flexiti right away thinking my card had been compromised. I was informed that I was randomly audited and based on their audit, my credit has been reduced from $7000 to $1000 causing a huge increase to my credit utilization.
Keep in mind, I have never missed a payment. I have never had a balance higher than $1800 with them and without notice, the available credit i had was reduced. No call, no email. No letter in the mail. No warning.
Flexiti has damaged my credit and punished me for being in good standing and fulfilling my credit obligations. Because of this, they have now caused my credit score to drop drastically just as I was about to get a mortgage on a home. Now, I am looking at THOUSANDS of dollars in interest because of the higher cost of borrowing.
Be warned of this company
Flexiti card is terrible,THEY ARE SCAM AND FRAUD
Flexiti card is terrible, please run away from them. The first problem you will encounter is terrible customer service; the customer service are rude, and authoritative.
A lot of hidden things with the card that you won't be told at the beginning, imagining you paying extra amount to cover your regular standard purchase after paying your statementpromotional balance, Flexiti will still charge you interest on standard purchase.
when I called them, they mentioned that they did not force me to pay more
They have nothing close to honesty, they lie and lie
PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!!!!!!!!
SCAMMERS
Nothing but a bunch of scammers. Advisors have no idea what they are doing on the phone and are no help at all. Drag you in with promotions and then take them away without any phone call, email or letter in the mail explaining why. They do not care about their customers. All they want is money and they'll commit fraud to get it
Scam company that uses cheap tactics
I started a plan with 2 years no interest, with the intent on paying it monthly with a calculated amount to pay it off before deadline.
My first payment was 3 days after starting purchase. I scheduled 23 monthly payments and let it ride. For 17 months, no issues, but then I noticed my email saying I owed double the amount. I looked on their page, and i was charged interest twice. I called them, and the agent was super rude and insisted it was my fault, as I've been late on payments for 17 months...
Trying to ask her how, as I've paid immediately and consistently, she argued I want paying attention and couldn't read.
I asked continued to ask how I'm late, despite paying early and consistently. The whole company seems like a scam, that moves the deadline of each bill, until your payment is late... which gives them an excuse to break the agreement and charge interest.
Scammers
Scammers. They will do everything possible to charge you for absolute nonsense. The staff are rude, and when you call just to ask for basic information, they deliberately misguide you. Stay away at all costs—I promise you will regret dealing with them. If there were an option to give 0 stars, even that would be too generous.
the black mafia
well i applied for a credit card with flexiti.and instantly got 4500. i bought a laundry centre for my mom for 2100.. within a day or two..i got a call from flexiti that i could not be identified despite my in person contact with the Brick in north bay...drivers licence..passport available..phone . codes and requested photos from my own phone..snap shots they took..i am a sole home owner who paid cash for it years ago..pay all my bills early with an excellent credit score. and flexity identified me as a risk and revoked my 6 months interest free status. i was routed into communicating with their security people who seemed like a reroute to Jamaica. it was very scary and i cancelled the order
and cancelled my credit card as well.. something is wrong with the corruption level of Flexiti. There seems to be no level of North American ethical business. standards. You might as well be dealing with the mafia.
BIG SCAM
BIG SCAM. They send no notifications to pay & when you miss the initial $2000 payment the remove the 0% promotion without you knowing and charge you 39% interest without your knowledge. Then finally when it's too late to do anything THEN they call & reach out to threaten collection. We have stellar 850+ credit, never missed any payments and flexiti just scammed us. Reporting to BBB and getting a lawyer involved, the managers are no help, very dismissive.
The worst interest rates I have ever…
The worst interest rates I have ever seen. It keeps you on the same level of repayment forever so they can continue sapping your money. In my opinion it’s like a scam in an attractive package.
About Flexiti
[UPDATED]
Following my initial review, Flexiti reached out to better understand the issue. After reviewing the details, we discovered that the mix-up likely occurred when Wayfair reprocessed my order for a price adjustment — at that point, the financing option was mistakenly changed from the 24-month no-interest plan to a “3% store credit” plan.
Flexiti eventually offered a $200 goodwill credit, which I’ve now received, and I appreciate that gesture. Their customer service and final resolution effort were solid, though the overall process could have been clearer and more coordinated between Flexiti and Wayfair.
[ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW]
Earlier this year I bought a hot tub on Wayfair and chose the advertised option to pay in 24 installments with no interest. To use it, I had to open their branded credit card account with Flexiti.
That’s where the problems started. I was told that if I paid every statement on time, no interest would be added. After paying over $1,000, I noticed my balance had barely gone down (only about $400). When I called, Flexiti said that’s “what they received from Wayfair,” while Wayfair kept sending me back to Flexiti. Neither took responsibility.
In the end, the “0% interest installment plan” I signed up for never actually existed. I had to pay off the entire balance just to get rid of this predatory setup.
I only applied for this card because of the financing option, and it turned out to be a scam. Save yourself the stress — avoid Flexiti financing at all costs.
