Unreliable and frustrating to deal with

We bought a bed with an underbed storage drawer from flanagansfurniture.ie however when the drawer arrived it did not fit under the bed. I had rang before ordering and the lady I spoke to told me this specific drawer would definitely fit under that particular bed. On that basis I bought both over the phone with her that day. I have lost count of the number of times I have had to call the company since (emails remain unanswered)
1. First they wanted to charge for the return even through it was 100% their fault as I was given the incorrect information - that took a few phones calls to sort out.
2 I was then given a pickup date and waited around for the day but nobody arrived or called to explain why the courier didn't turn up. I had to ring to arrange another pick up
3. I am still waiting for the refund. I rang over 2 x weeks after the repacked drawer was picked up and was told they didn't know why I wasn't refunded and would be in the next few days. I am still waiting...
I found the staff very unhelpful and on occasion rude. I found the company overall unreliable and very frustrating to deal with.
I would most definitely not recommend.

Appalling company

Appalling company, still dealing with an ongoing issue two months on. Ordered a bedroom set online in August consisting of a wardrobe, 3+2 chest of drawers and 2 lockers. I only placed the order after confirming with the owner Chris that an assembly service was available, he confirmed the price with me on this and I enquired what the delivery time would be. He confirmed delivery was 7 days as the items were in stock and ready to be delivered. This was done via chat/ email and I have written proof of this. 3 weeks after I placed the order, the items had not arrived. Flanagans didn’t bother to contact me about the delay nor to offer an explanation, I had to contact them. I tried to email Chris using the email address he had contacted me through originally but kept getting bounce backs with “your email has been blocked”. I was worried this was a scam as I also tried to ring using the two numbers from the website and wasn’t getting through. I’m still not convinced it wasn’t a scam as it turned out the items were not in stock nor ready for delivery. I finally managed to find an email address and phone number that worked. Numerous calls and emails later, I got various excuses why i still didn’t have the items- problem with the supplier, delay with shipping etc etc. It finally looked as if I was getting a delivery date for the end of September when I was informed on a call that assembly was not available nor was it ever available for the wardrobe. I actually managed to speak to Chris on the phone who in a roundabout way called me a liar when I informed him he was the one who told me to begin with an assembly service was available. He repeated numerous times he “will have to check our correspondence” At this point all I wanted to do was cancel the order and I told them so. I was then informed it was too late to cancel. I am very aware of my consumer rights and was quick to remind them online orders should be delivered within 30 days and a refund issued within 14 days once the order was cancelled. The order was cancelled but I have yet to receive a refund. My last call to them was this past Friday. I was told I am getting a refund, they just haven’t bothered to process it yet. I also asked for Chris to call me back- that never happened. The 14 day window to process a refund has passed and I will be filing an official complaint with CCPC.

Save yourself the hassle and shop with a more professional and reputable company!

Absolutely shocking WARNING ⚠️ DO NOT…

Absolutely shocking WARNING ⚠️ DO NOT PURCHASE from this company. If I could have given it minus stars I would have. We purchased a bed from them in December 2020 and one of the side panels snapped in half in August 2021. We were told it was a manufacturer fault in bed due to knots in the wood and provided with a new side pannel. In February the other side panel snapped and again we were told fault with the bed. We were promised a whole new bed due to manufacturer fault. We were told 15th February that we would receive the new bed by 11th March. The manufacturer provided the company with a complete new bed due to the fault and on todays date we were told we would not be provided with the bed manufacturer provided only side panels even though we were promised over a month ago that we would be provided with replacement. Absolutely shocking product and even worse customer care.
