This was my second hair transplant after being left very disappointed following my first at Harley Street 5 years ago (for 3 times the price). I could not praise or recommend FKS more in terms of the pre-procedure comms, the day itself and the after care over the 10 days post op. I entered the clinic at 2.30pm and was home by 7pm and felt barely any pain whatsoever and was well looked after. I am now on day 12 and have spent two days out shopping for Xmas and not a single person has noticed I've had a hair transplant as it now looks like I just have a buzz cut. If the final results are anything like the experience so far I will be delighted.

Staff were so friendly and made to feel at ease the whole day

I am in the process of transitioning from male to female and as part of that process I have been researching potential options in regards to my hair. I have always had a high hair line, but at the age of 69 I have also lost hair. Although the semi-permanent wig option is tempting, its cost is huge over the rest of my life and this is why I considered having a hair transplant. If it works then I have saved myself a fortune, however if it does not do what I would like it to do then at least I tried.

I had contacted a few hair transplant companies, but FKS was the only one that I felt comfortable working with. Their professionalism was evident right from the start and I decided that if I was going to do this then FKS would be my chosen solution. I booked my appointment for 1st December 2025 and made the appropriate arrangements for an overnight stay in London the night before and then a taxi home after the procedure. I should point out that FKS is London based and I live in Cornwall....... that was not a cheap taxi, but it was essential for the 'aftercare' procedure.

The procedure is amazing and the 6+ hour process was totally painless, other than the first few numbing injections which were no worse than going to the dentist. The care and attention to detail was evident throughout the procedure, which confirmed my belief that FKS was the right company for me.

Obeying the aftercare procedure is essential to the speed of recovery and the success of the transplant. I 'slept' upright in a chair for nine of the first ten days of recovery, which I think helped enormously. Not the most comfortable thing to do and not great for sleep, but the recovery results were amazing. I had to go to Mexico on business 14 days after the procedure and I am now writing this review 21 days after the procedure on my return from Mexico. The doner area shows no signs of having had anything done to it, which is amazing and the transplant area has healed completely and my new hair line is fascinating. It is now going to take at least 6 months for the true effects of the procedure to take effect from a visual perspective and I am looking forward to the year to come.

Was this the right procedure for me to have....... only time will tell, but FKS are continuing to track my recovery and hair development with genuine interest. I unquestioningly recommend FKS for the hair transplant procedure.

I arrived on time and was greeted by the friendly team who took me through the steps and made me feel at ease. It was no time before the procedure started and it was really quick and relatively painfree - it really is just the anaesthetic injections that are uncomfortable and then you feel nothing. I actually felt really relaxed and sleepy!

(I'd had one before in 2016 that took two entire days, and was more than double the cost - to transfer less hairs!)

Genuinely, the clinic for professional hair transplant and after care service. All positive throughout the course of treatment. Direct consultation with doctor of your choice. All technicians and staff take care of you with straight forward advice. Just let them crack on with their skills whilst you relax and look forward to your new hair.

Had my hair transplant done just over 3 weeks ago. Friendly clean environment. Everything was explained to me about the procedure and aftercare is good. I like the WhatsApp group where you can ask any questions or concerns which promptly get answered. Looking forward to the results. No pain at all like to mention the only painful bit it the anaesthesia which lasts a few minutes. Thanks guys and keep up the singing in the theatre room.

Great service so far. I had my hair transplant about 2 weeks ago. Aftercare is also great. Will look forward to how hair progresses in 6 months time.

Professional, clean, the whole experience from start to finish was exceptional. Friendly staff who where very informative. I would highly recommend FKS clinic.

Very honest review. Following the surgery I was quickly rushed out of the room and back into the waiting area after being under local anaesthetic all day. 15 mins after surgery I asked to visit the toilet in which no one escorted me to the toilet. Once I arrived in the toilet I hit my head on a very low placed ceiling in the only toilet in the building. Which damaged some of the grafts. I still have no idea the extent of how many grafts and the extent of what happened. I have emailed but no real response. Having a low ceiling in a hair transplant clinic, still baffles me. Wouldn’t recommend.

I was initially anxious about the surgery and the prospective outcome of the hair transplant but I found the hair transplant technicians to be resilient and thorough as they spent 5 hours+ on the transporting of my hair follicles.

I was given the opportunity to ask any questions prior to the treatment but most of all the aftercare has been first class as I would have the freedom to ask any questions and ask for support about anything I was unsure about. Being autistic I need clear instructions and I have found the aftercare team to be understanding of my need for concise communication.

Having a hair transplant is not a decision that should be taken lightly as the first 10 days after the procedure did cause me some discomfort and sleep deprivation but I was able to get on with my life as normal and even attended a friends funeral 1 day after the work received so with care I could leave the house when I wanted to attend meetings. But of course no exercise which is standard post operative advice.

Overall, I would highly recommend the FKS clinic as they will be with you to support you on those first crucial 10 days and the professionalism of the staff is very good.

I had a hair transplant at FKS Clinic two weeks ago, and the experience has been outstanding. Their aftercare is exceptional, and the team’s attention to detail and genuine care made the whole process smooth and reassuring. I couldn’t be happier with the service and highly recommend them

After speaking to around five clinics, I chose FKS for a few reasons and I’m really glad I did. They were the most affordable option, I never felt pressured into a sale like with some others, and the mix of Turkish-trained surgeons working to UK standards felt like the right balance. Being only a 40-minute cab from my home in South London was also a big plus as I didn’t want to travel abroad.

The whole process was efficient and professional. I was excited but nervous on the day, and the team put me at ease straight away. I met the surgeon, had the markings done, sorted payment, had blood taken for PRP, and was taken straight through to the surgery room (mine was “Besiktas”, which made me smile). The only painful part was the anaesthetic injections – tolerable and nowhere near as bad as I imagined.

The extraction took around 90 minutes and was a bit uncomfortable but completely painless. After that, the surgeon made the incisions for my 4500 grafts, then I had a short break before the implantation stage, which took just under 3 hours. The nurses spoke in Turkish between themselves, which I’d seen others complain about, but it honestly didn’t bother me at all. Their English was limited but they were clearly very skilled, and their normal conversations actually made the atmosphere feel relaxed and routine.

Afterwards I felt fine, met my partner in reception, and headed home. The aftercare has been excellent. The WhatsApp group made everything very clear, and following the instructions meant my recovery was smooth – minimal scabbing, minor swelling, no pain and no complications. By day 7 I felt pretty much back to normal, and by days 8–10 all the scabs had flaked cleanly with no redness. Sleeping upright was the hardest part, but that eased quickly.

I’m now on day 18. Shedding hasn’t begun yet but my head looks clean, the soreness is minimal and I’m back to my normal routine (giving tennis another couple of weeks). The biggest surprise has been how quickly I’ve recovered and how good everything looked early on.

Overall I’m really impressed with FKS – the operation, the communication and the standard of care. Assuming my results come through as expected over the next few months, I would 100% recommend them.

I was very nervous before the procedure, but the FKS clinic calmed my nerves down straight away with their reassurance and kindness and being very professional overall. Can not fault this clinic at all. If you're thinking of get this done definitely book with this clinic!!

Really happy with my experience at FKS. It’s been 2.5 weeks since my hair transplant and I’m surprised how smooth the recovery has been. The team have been great checking in and ensuring your recovering properly.
I also think they’ve done a really good job at making the hair line look natural compared to some you see online.

I had my surgery on the 25th of April 2025, so it is gone 6 months now. All I can say is if you are considering this surgery and don't want to travel overseas, FKS Clinic in Fulham is the place to go. For the whole day I felt very cared for. The staff were very polite and helpful, giving me good advice for the future and making me feel very comfortable throughout the day. The clinic itself is clean and sterile from what I saw and felt, and it is very modern and inviting. They say that the best result is between 12 and 18 months, but even now I can see my hair getting thicker and fuller. Thank you to all of the FKS team for providing an excellent 10/10 service! :)
