After a crash back in January my insurance company arranged for my car to be sent to Fix Auto in Crediton.

I was given a curtesy car for the entire duration of the fixing of my car and the team communicated all the way, keeping me in the know .
Everyone I spoke with were so friendly, helpful and professional right from the start. Total 5 star service and I am very grateful to all after quite an emotional shake up due to the crash.
I know that my car's damage was a bit of a mechanical challenge but they persevered and got it home to me and she is running beautifully.

We recently used Fix Auto Mid Devon to repair a small dent in the passenger door of our car. They collected it from our home in North Devon, and left us with a good standard of courtesy car. Seven days later they returned our car, which was repaired to a high standard. As well as that, it was beautifully clean both on the outside and the interior. We felt the latter was above and beyond what we expected from them. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company. A big thank you to them.

Our insurance provider directed us to Fix Auto for repair work. Initially there was a frustrating delay of several days before a courtesy vehicle was provided -a much smaller car than our X-Trail. Repairs took a month because of problems in obtaining parts. The X-Trail was returned in good functional order and had been cleaned. All the staff were always very helpful and courteous. Overall an excellent service but one star deducted because we had to repeatedly telephone for updates about the repairs and the return date. An unexpected bonus was realizing that we could manage with a smaller vehicle and will sell the X-Trail when circumstances allow.

Having been involved in an accident where I was not at fault I needed a quote to pass onto the insurance company. Auto fix mid devon did this for me the same day I approached them. They then liaised with the insurance company directly, who felt they offered a competitive and comprehensive quote. When the work was scheduled they predicted it would take 3 working days. But upon hearing there was an issue with the hire car organised by the insurance company, they managed to get my car back to me the same day. And they even cleaned my car top to bottom. I am really pleased with the quality of the work and the overall customer service.

The service was over and above what i expected. The courtesy car was supplied and I was not inconvenienced in any way. I was given regular updates as to the progress of the repair to my car. As we were to go on holiday I asked for a target date to return the car the target date was met a day earlier than we expected and this put our minds at rest. I would certainly recommend you to friends and family.

Long wait to get car into workshop, but from then on until completion of work everything was done efficiently and staff are all very helpful. Loan car was a new model and was much appreciated over the Christmas period.

My car had a few paint issues and needed an overhaul to make it perfect again, Fix Auto set my mind at ease with their professional staff. The processes were explained and the work carried out. I couldn't have been more pleased with the work, the staff and communications.

Collected my wife's MX5 from home and delivered a courtesy car. Took about a week to respray the bumper and came back looking even better. Very clean inside and out. The driver who collected the car was amazing, took great care of the vehicle. This is the first time we have had to use our car insurance to ensure the work was carried out as many insurers prefer to write cars off. If it was not for Fix Auto, then this may well have been the case. We need more garages like this.

This company were hired by my insurance company to fix my vehicle. It’s been just over a year and the vehicle is finally fixed!
They initially said they couldn’t source the part for my vehicle. They said it was on back order. I only ever received updates when I chased them. They then contacted me in August (11 months after promising to complete the work) to say they had the part after finally sourcing it from eBay (I’m unsure why they didn’t do this months before). They said they would be in contact to book the vehicle in for repair shortly. They didn’t make contact. I had to chase them and only when I chased them & expressed disappointment did they finally book it in for repair. What should have been a simple repair took over a year. I only ever received updates when I chased them and even then there’s been no apology due to the service I received.
I would never use this company again

Customer service is also easy to get hold of to get updates of vehicle status.
