I did this all wrong. Found the item I wanted (at a good price), made my purchase, .... then read the reviews!
Beat myself up for a couple of hours for having been such an idiot - poor reviews!
HOWEVER - I should have gone easy on myself. My order was totally trouble free, placed 4pm Monday, receieved before 10am Wednesday - less than 48 hours - super service!

Thank you for the review. We don't actually use trust pikot in the business but I was interested in what you said. So I shall read what others have said.
Deserve a second chance...
Ordered two fairly expensive external lights on the 9th July at a much lower cost than other sites (which always makes me slightly nervous). Delivery should have been within 3 working days. Two weeks later (23rd July) the goods had not arrived and I was unable to track from the reference I had been emailed (now I was very nervous).
Messaged the company on their website and, although there was no automatic acknowledgment (always a little disconcerting), I received a telephone call the following day. Customer service agent very apologetic and told me the order had been mislaid. Dispatched the items that day and they arrived the following. Products as ordered and completely as expected (made in China, but reasonable quality) - as stated above, can be found on many other sites.
First Light Direct have lost one star for mislaying the order (and inconveniencing my electrician), but I would certainly give them a second chance - if ever I need more lights at a discount!

Beware
Just received an e-mail from First Light Direct saying an order is on the way.
Funnily enough, I have not placed an order with them.
What is very suspicious is that when you 'hover' over the links in the message, especially the 'unsubscribe' link it shows completely unrelated, scam-like links.

We have explained to you that our new SMS and Email System was the issue as we were setting it up for the first time and unfortunately clicked your name. This was a genuine error. The links are from pushdaddy which is our SMS and Email Service.
They are certainly not scam links as you suggest as Push Daddy is one of the biggest SMS and Email Ecommerce providers world wide.
Cheap and Fast Service
Really pleased with products and service. Although charged VAT and delivery still cheaper than rest. Arrived next day.
