Worst experience of human history.

Came in with diamond earrings to the scenic highway location in lawrenceville georgia & alex got mad & called the cops on me 👎 unprofessional af… he offered $10 then called the cops on me, i also filed a BBB & CFPB & FTC complaint against the business for the lack of respect & total disregard as me as a person & as a customer. Everyone in the store that were customers were confused. He wasted everyone’s time at the store and made a big deal over diamond earrings when he should of quoted me a fair price to pawn the earrings instead of pocket change and kicking me out. Ladies & gentleman, this is a prime example of what a “pawnboker” should never do. Becareful walking into this place & pawning something because it’s pretty much nothing but scams & hostility and they will waste your time. If you were to ask me… this place already has 2 stars on Google reviews… it might as well just go out of business👎
Oh yeah by the way…. all other reviewers… file a complaint with consumer financial bureau
Someone take this company out of business!!!!
They filed a tresspass against me for trying to sell legit diamond earrings!?!?!
What a joke!!! A whole bunch of clowns!! 🤡🤡🤡

Never going to this place again

Never going to this place again. I am a Computer Support Specialist and I am certified. When I got both the laptops that I needed to pursue my cybersecurity schooling and to do some bug bounties and play some games; both the laptops have broken fans, the computers were already taken apart and they overheat.

These people don't do full diagnosis on the laptop. They would rather pay cheap for these laptops and then sell them broken. They don't do diagnosis on these laptops or put it to the full test. They don't care about customer satisfaction at all. Yes, they gave me a small "deal", but that deal wasn't worth all the pain and hassle that these laptop put me through. These people are negligent about how the laptop are maintained. It seems like they accept stolen and/or uncertified repaired laptops and then re-put them on the floor. When I tried to return the last laptop that I had they never told me "sold as-is" and they only gave me half my money back and wouldn't go down on the price of the one that I want to compensate. I desperately needed a laptop for schooling and to start doing bug bounties and sharpen up on my cybersecurity skills, but this was a major disappointment. NEVER BUY LAPTOPS HERE THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THE FACT THEY COULD BE BROKEN OR NOT AND IT DOESN'T SEEM LIKE ANYONE THERE KNEW HOW TO LOOK FOR SOMETHING WRONG WITH THEM.

Nope-not this place again

Harlingen store-Great when you want to buy but if you pawn something and don’t understand why when paying more than the interest rate, should be going down. If they don’t know how to do a ‘paydown/redemption, then just say it and get someone that does know. Then she says to me ‘I don’t know what the interest rate was when that was written’. I say, explain it till I understand, I’m a customer, I DO NOT WORK HERE. She just walked away. 2nd time this has happened at 2 different stores. I can pawn anywhere and I will after this fiasco and I get my stuff out. Last month I paid 85.00 for nothing. Learn your job people.

This is a fraud company

This is a fraud company. Says you are approved but they ask for your account number and then send a bad check. They want you to send the money amount that they send to you. When I'm reality the check is bad and when you send the money the check is bad and you are stuck with a bad check and out the money you sent you.

Manager ‘John’ at Cash America, 3900 N Broadway

This is for the location at 3900 North Broadway in Chicago:

This place has become an absolute sh** show since the new manager, John, took over about six months ago. I will not be back and would not recommend doing so either.

Communication is horrible, their employees don’t care about a thing, and they are literally trying to scam people. Last time I went in, 3 consecutive people brought up pricing errors to him, and he laughed it off.

Today, after calling ahead and being told “Yes, we’ll take that” yesterday they decide today, after walking a mile+ there, that they don’t!

In addition, they sold me a bike for $105 one year ago, I bought it & put a new $30 seat on it, riding it < 5 times in 3 months.

I sold it back to them for only $85 and they now have it back on sale for $229.

If you are looking for the neighborhood shady flea market, head here. If you want anything or to deal with anybody trustworthy, go elsewhere.

Don't use one of 2500 of their pawn shops!!!!

This company owns over 2500 pawn shops all over US. When my husband died I found where he had pawned his wedding ring to buy me an anniversary gift. When I went to the location, they were kind at the local level. They had tried calling his phone to tell him his ring was due to be picked up but I was not monitoring his phone. As his death was sudden I had much more to deal with. When I found out that the local store sent the overdue ring to their corporate office in Ft Worth TX, the person (Rocio) was not empathetic and was horrible. She actually said,'if that ring meant so much to you, why did you pawn it?"!!!! My husband was a proud man and did it in his mind out of necessity. They did NOTHING to try to help me find my husbands ring. It is very unique and should not be hard to find; it was hand made from my own gold and had an insignia and was extremely large in size. I have the LOAN# and the description used. They could have at least been courteous and sympathetic and tried to find the ring. Not only am I upset, my 24 year old daughter is devastated because she wanted to give to her husband to be. What a shame that a large co. taking advantage of people affected by COVID and other maladies be taken advantage of. It isn't enough that they charge 226% on their loans!!!! SHAME ON First Cash. Look up your Pawn shops and don't use any affiliated with this one!
