Easily accessible venue with plenty of parking spaces. Our trainer, Nikki Neesam has a relaxed and fun way of instructing. The 3 day course was light hearted but extremely informative.

We all found the training to be extremely useful for our organisation, in particular, the legislation and HSE requirements. It was paced very well and the group interaction was very engaging. We have taken many important points from this and we are now able to confidently assess and implement a plan of action that will be specific to our needs within our organisation. Kenny was a brilliant trainer, made things very clear and encouraged us all to contribute on the day. We were particularly impressed with the inclusiveness of his approach that truly reflects on our organisation and the values that we hold. We will definitely have him back! Thank you St Andrews for a great course.

Enjoyed it and found it helpful in planning our fire strategies for opening our clinic and what the main requirements are as a fire marshal. Good value for money also.

I think it would have been good to do more of the group exercises. The trainer asked us to do a couple but then just read the rest out and didn't ask us to do them. I know it takes effort but I think we might have been more engaged if we had chatted in small groups more.
The course was interesting and informative and has definitely made me think more about safety in general and the risk of fire in particular.
I wonder if it would have been good to spend a bit more time on the usual responsibilities of fire marshals as this was only covered in the last half an hour of the course. But is perhaps the most important part of the course?
Also this is just a tiny thing, but it would have been nice to have non-dairy milk for tea/coffee if possible.
