I was contacted by phone with them…

I was contacted by phone with them claiming I had a crypto wallet valued at 56000. It all seemed legitimate until the requested a verification fee in excess of £4000 to release the funds. I told them I had reported them to Report Fraud and surprise surprise received no further communication.

I have been receiving multiple calls…

I have been receiving multiple calls from fin tracer. They call from 020 numbers which amazingly change every time I tell them I do not want to speak to them and block their number . I did on one call while stuck in a traffic jam let the guy waffle on a bit and it was about a trading company who may have been doing some kind of fraud but they would not tell me the name of the company or when this was. I did ask was hy they repeatedly change there number and got a long evasive ramble amounting to no answer at all. So completely not legit in my opinion. Had the cheek to be upset when I said effoff and stop calling

Was contacted cold regarding some lost…

Was contacted cold regarding some lost crypto. The value of the lost crypto was approx £40K. Engaged in conversation and was asked for £900 for insurance.Following this I got a e-mail from AML requesting £3900. Paid this and got another e-mail from AML requesting a further £15000. Informed Fintracer I do not have the funds and advised me to take a loan out. Tried a couple of times in getting a loan but decided not to go ahead on this. I then asked for a refund of my £3900 and was told I need to speak to AML for which I did and was told they would be sending the funds to Fintracer. Following this got another e-mail from AML advising me to p[ay £2000 to initiate my £3900 refund. I have asked why and get the story thats AML procedures. I have spoken to my bank and they informed me that this is incorrect and refund should be made with no strings. I advise anybody who receives a call to think carefully before forwarding any payment.

Very nice people who conned me into…

Very nice people who conned me into buying crypto currency and then on crypto recovery keep asking for more money. This is a scam company. Warning! Only get involved if you want to lose money on false promises. Fintracer have replied denying my review. I would like to point out it is support@ fintracer.org who I have been dealing with.
There denial is classic recovery scam. Be warned. I have all the evidence.
They pressured me to pay £1,000 via Revolut bank to buy crypto to recover my fund. Then suddenly tell me they want a further £6,700 for insurance to pay my money into Revolut.
The Fintracer website gives 03300271665 Nina Moretti. That is who I was dealing with. This is the Fintracer number. I also had correspondence with there website contact

Dear David,

We are very sorry to hear about the distress you’ve experienced with cryptocurrency fraud. However, we believe there may be a misunderstanding regarding who we are and how we operate.

At Fintracer, we pride ourselves on transparency. It is common for scammers to "re-target" victims by pretending to be recovery agents. We want to clarify a few points to set the record straight:

Official Channels: We only communicate through our verified website and official email addresses. If you have been contacted via Telegram, or a random social media profile claiming to be us, it is likely an impostor.

Upfront Costs: We are committed to clear fee structures. We never "demand" additional, unexpected payments to "release" funds—a tactic commonly used by the scammers you are describing.

Verification: We have no record of a client case matching your description.

We take these allegations seriously as they do not align with our business ethics. We would like to investigate this immediately to see if someone is indeed impersonating our brand. Please contact us directly at our email with your case number so we can clear this up and assist you in identifying the party that actually contacted you.

Best regards,

The Fintracer Team

If you have been targeted by impersonators, we also recommend reporting the incident to your bank and local authorities.

Kind regards.
