Our experience has been great! Used Fiji vacations for our incredible honeymoon 17 years ago and used them again for our family trip to Fiji. We had a great trip. You guys helped us plan the perfect trip. It was so nice having all the details squared away. We loved the resort you recommended. Everything went smoothly and we didn't have to worry about a thing once we arrived.

Everything was well documented and all accommodations met or exceeded my expectations.

Fiji Vacations guided us to an amazing boutique resort we would never have found on our own. They catered to us from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Fiji Vacations handled our flights, itinerary, transfers, and were available for questions if needed. I usually book our own travel, but would highly recommend using Fiji Vacations for their wealth of knowledge in the South Pacific region.

Cheryl was so responsive during the planning stage and was so easy to work with. Give us the perfect options to choose from. The app was very helpful during the trip. No hitches at all other than the car service being late once when our flight came in earlier. Wish the app would have given contact info and times for the car transport. Other than that, which was minor, the trip was flawless and we were very happy.

This is over the 40th time Melissa Pomeroy at Fiji Vacations has handled my travel to Fiji and Tahiti. She is hands on and extremely experienced. Highly recommend.

The travel experience was great. Let's discuss the good. Outstanding resort and guest experience in Fiji.
Bad experience. Dealing with Melissa our travel agent. Very slow to respond or non responsive. She has good suggestions, but once your trip is booked to expect to get questions answered in a timely manner. Don't expect to get your full itinerary until a few days before departure. Her communication skills are maddening! She has great suggestions for a trip, but follow though is not good.

Fiji Vacations organized an amazing trip for me to Fiji. They recommended the perfect resort and coordinated our transfers from the main island to the smaller island of Tavewa. Everyone they connected us with was professional and friendly and the resort was amazing. I had never used a travel agent before so I was a little scared to let someone I had never met have full control of the trip but Melissa and her staff did not let me down. She got us great prices on everything and gave wonderful advice... especially concerning the helicopter ride in which was so worth it.

Both resorts were excellent: great service, location, food, amenities, etc. Family consensus was that it was our best vacation ever. Travel agent was very knowledgeable & helpful. Everything went according to plan. Trip was expensive because we stayed at 5-star resorts, but definitely feel like I got more than my money's worth. Would absolutely recommend Fiji Vacations for anybody planning a trip to Fiji

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Fiji. We were impressed by the resort choices, the efficiency with which all of the transfers took place the the beautiful places we stayed and visited.

I did not have any prior knowledge of Fiji or the islands. I would recommend Fiji Vacations for a first time traveller because there are so many choices.

Trip of a lifetime! We started planning 4 months before our vacation and found Cheryl to be extremely helpful. She answered all questions in a timely manner, even on the weekends! Our travel went smoothly because of the information from Cheryl and Fiji Vacations. Once we arrived in Fiji, we enjoyed a lovely stay at Koro Sun Resort. Thank you, it was everything we wanted and more.

We went to Savusavu with our two kids and we couldn’t be happier. The place was really nice, the locals super friendly and the resort staff always with a smile on their faces. We got some rainy days but there was still plenty of things to do outside the resort. Resort had a kids club so the kids had so much fun and it was hard for them to leave Fiji.
Fiji vacations was super helpful with their suggestions on which place would be better for our needs and the trip was super smooth. We didn’t have any problems at all with the flights and the resort.
I would recommend Fiji vacations and Cheryl to my friends in a heart bit.

The resort was awesome, the staff were awesome. I would absolutely come back here. The food. Wow the food. With the exception of breakfast, not one meal was the same.

The area around the resort is gorgeous. The wooded walks, snorkeling to the south of the resort is almost as good as the diving. The colors are amazing. A lot of what you eat comes from the area around the resort.

The only hiccup was getting through customs and making the connecting flight. We missed it, but it only held us up for an additional 30 minutes for the next flight.

My only critique is the that images of the room we had were NOTHING like what where we stayed. I understand it is website pic-- but I can tell this website pic was completely different than any of the rooms at Funky Fish. I would say the image is misleading. Rec you obtain a more contemporary pic.

The facilities were a lot more bare bone- but it is a surf trip and it didn't bother me. But had I brought my wife, she would have been extremely upset that the images didn't match reality. Just sayn.

Overall I LOVED Funky Fish and would do it again and think the locals went above and beyond to make the experience incredible. They obviously really care about their visitors and I already miss them. Please let them know that they are THE BEST part of the surf trip (Cloudbreak was amazzzzzingggg...)

The vacation itself was amazing. However our experience with Fiji Travel was frustrating with poor communication. There was a problem with baggage being included in the flights (we were told in writing it was, then changed to it wasn't- apparently Fiji airways changed their pricing and whoever booked our tickets didn't realize it). Fiji vacations did eventually cover our baggage costs though the staff we dealt with were quite rude about it. While in Fiji I heard from many other people that that is a common experience with the owner of this company

From start to finish we felt taken care of. I took my whole family on a special vacation after my husband and daughters dad passed away. Fiji vacations had everything planned for us. Above and beyond anything I could have imagined. The most special moments ever. Memories to last forever. We are homesick for Fiji and the beautiful culture Melissa introduced us to. We are already planning our next trip back with Fiji vacations.

Unfortunately we did not have an excellent experience with Melissa Pomeroy at Fiji Vacations. Her demeanor both on the phone and in written email communication bordered on rude. Her lack of attention to detail was a problem for us in the planning process as well as during our vacation. There was very limited follow-up and information flow from her during the planning process. Once we did receive all of our documentation (just days before the trip began) some of it was incorrect. Problem solving was not what we wanted to do the last few days prior to vacation and during our vacation. We were traveling with a sizable group for a beautiful wedding and unfortunately many of the guests had a similar experience with Melissa. I will not be recommending Fiji Vacations to future travelers.
