Unreliable service and extremely disappointing customer care
We booked a transfer with Fiji Tour Transfers, but they were an hour late. Unfortunately, two of our friends had a flight to catch and couldn't afford to wait any longer, so they were forced to arrange their own taxi at an additional cost of $260.
Initially, the company apologised and said they would discuss the matter with management. However, rather than taking responsibility or offering a reasonable resolution, their subsequent responses have been rude and dismissive, and they have refused to provide any compensation.
Delays can happen, but when you're providing transport for people with flights to catch, reliability is essential. What has been particularly disappointing is the way the company has handled our complaint.
We weren't expecting anything unreasonable, just some accountability and reimbursement for the additional expense caused by their failure to arrive on time.
Based on our experience, I would not recommend Fiji Tour Transfers, particularly for airport transfers where timing is critical.
