Subscription trap - don’t join!!

Like everyone else I fell into the Fiit subscription trap too. They refused to offer me a refund from the automatic renewal for the year ahead, even though I’d followed the guidelines on the gov.uk website in relation to refunds.

The staff have been given very clear instructions on what to say to people contacting them in regards to refunds as there was zero sympathy and any effort to talk them was immediately shot down with replies such as ‘you’ve exhausted all avenues and we won’t discuss the matter any further’.

Extremely dismissive and probably the worst way to run customer services.

Long story short - don’t sign up because it’s a sub par product and they will withdraw £120 annually (despite cancelling the subscription) and refuse you a refund. They must rely on this business model to keep the wheels turning.

Do not use!

As others have highlighted, they refused to refund a £120 annual subscription that I didn't want despite being contacted as soon as I became aware payment had been taken. They had given me only 2 days notice that my free trial was ending in which to cancel my subscription, before charging me a large amount of money! Now it seems there is no redress beyond complaining.

DO NOT USE

DO NOT USE. They have refused to cancel an auto renew even though I contacted them less than 24 hours after the auto renewal payment was made. Their ‘reminder emails’ were delivered to my junk box and they are refusing to give a refund. Even though the Government are bringing in new legislation to tackle this kind of activity which aims to target consumers, this company still see it as an acceptable practice.

Be careful of their auto renew feature…

Be careful of their auto renew feature in their reminder email that is often flagged as junk email which happened in my case. They auto renewed my subscription and refused to refund me and just essentially told me to contact my bank if I’m not happy. Also wasted my time by asking me to wait 21 business days for them to just tell me the same thing and read terms and conditions next time. Extremely disappointed.

Charged me following a free trial

Charged me following a free trial, and refused to refund me even though i never used the app. They have the excuse that I was notified in advance (to a spam email I never use), but I can't understand why a company would want to make money that way leaving me feel robbed!

Great customer service

Really quick customer service via email, I’ve always been able to negotiate the price of the subscription and cancel when I’ve needed to with no problems. I think FIIT is really good and I’m sure I will use it again in the future.

Love the programme

Love the programme. Have completed loads of classes. Filter system to find appropriate classes good. I use an original Fiit sensor. I did upgrade to the new sensor but it didn’t work with my phone even though it was supposed to be compatible. Fiit handled the issue v swiftly and gave me a refund. Special mention to Charlotte who has always been v responsive

Worth it!

The app is amazing - it has such a great range of workouts. I have also had a couple of interactions with the support team over updating payment information and applying student discount and they have always been very helpful and very prompt in their responses! Can’t recommend FIIT enough!

Very happy

I joined Fiit on a 14 day free trial and had trouble with the app recognising my fitness tracker. I contacted customer service on 10th and from then till today they have worked to resolve my issue and even extended my trial to 30 days. The app itself is good as are the classes.

Annual subscription scam…

Annual subscription automatically renewed without me realising. I contacted them 2 weeks later to request a refund and was told I would need to pay for a whole year. Appalling that any company would want to operate like this. No moral standards. I’m sad to have supported this company as I see others have also been scammed out of their money with no cancellation options. I will be reporting this company via citizens advice as I don’t believe this is a fair business practice for consumers. I encourage others to do the same to prevent greedy business practices like this.

Affordable in these tough times

With cost of living rising, FIIT have been absolutely brilliant in making the app affordable for everyone with the introduction of free group classes and the chance to win reduced subscriptions and extended free trials with daily spinning wheel. Charlotte has been incredibly helpful to make FIIT more affordable for me in the current times and has gone above & beyond to help.

My Mistake: Sorry and thank you!

I had the greatest customer service experience…EVER! Kudos and admiration to those who got involved in my query. In the process of tracking down two charges on my credit card I mistakenly began my probe with the wrong company (Fiit).
After five emails over the course of four days, the Fiit staff tried to find my charges.Emma tried every way possible. Then Stuart got involved and graciously suggested I check to see if it was the Fiit website. It was not. My terrible error!!
All this to say the amount of time and effort this company expended to help a non-customer is to be applauded. In the culmination of this erroneous experience I was awfully embarrassed, but delighted to have interacted with such caring, professional and patient staff.

Great app and customer service

Great app and customer service. I have been a member for nearly 3 years after an initial free trial. The classes and coaches are fantastic and really motivating. The only downside I found was they didn’t have classes for pregnancy, so I didn’t get use out of it for several months. However I contacted customer service about this. And they gave me 6months free back, as I could have had a pregnancy pause, and discount of my next renewal. Always quick responses. And so many classes, to cover every fitness level. Previously I had been on the Centr app by Chris Hemsworth, but their warm ups where far too short, and I started getting sore knees. And I found the instructors really annoying, they talk constantly throughout. And when they made mistakes, they weren’t corrected. Even though they’re pre-recorded. Fiit is the best fitness app I’ve ever used.

LOVE FIIT

Been a member for 2.5 years now. FIIT is a life changer for me. Getting to the gym for me was always a struggle but now being able to do savage cardio and strength classes complimented with the rebalance studio is fantastic. I love all the tracking features and even seeing how all the classes you do are saved so you can see your progress and trends. It's super. Thanks FIIT!!
