Rory is absolute class

Rory is absolute class!
I’ll get straight to the point and say that I’ve been training for years yet in my first month with Rory I saw more definition than ever in my body, completely lost the fear of being upside down (handstand skills) and can NEARLY do a pull up. These are some goals that I’ve had for a long time and with his structured plans and his ongoing support I was able to make insane progress in such a short time frame.
He is super engaging and is always looking for the absolute best ways to help you reach your goals. He’s willing to review your programme any time to ensure it is the best fit for you, gives advice on nutrition, form and the science behind these things as well as being a real good egg and a joy to hang out with in the gym!

Could not recommend him more!!!

Before I started training with Rory

Before I started training with Rory , I struggled with severe back pain that affected my daily life and limited what I could do in the gym, I also lacked confidence in my training, worried about getting injured, and just wasn’t making the progress I wanted. Working with my trainer has completely transformed my fitness journey from day one he took the time to understand my goals, limitations, and past injuries, planned every workout carefully, and always put my technique, recovery, and overall wellbeing first. What really stood out was how regularly he checked in, monitored my progress, and adjusted my routine whenever needed, I never felt like just another client because he genuinely cared about my success. The results have been incredible. I went from dealing with constant back pain to hitting strength levels I never thought possible, now leg pressing 300kg, shoulder pressing 46kg dumbbells, and bench pressing 170kg for a clean 6 reps, while also gaining so much more confidence, mobility, and a better quality of life overall. He is professional, knowledgeable, motivating, and supportive, always paying close attention to detail, prioritising proper form and injury prevention, and knowing exactly how to push you further than you think you can go. I cannot recommend him highly enough his expertise, dedication, and support are second to none, and thanks to him I’ve achieved milestones I once thought were out of reach. If you’re looking for a trainer who truly cares, keeps you accountable, and delivers real results, look no further, this has been a life changing experience, and I’m so grateful for everything he’s done for me. 10/10 service from start to finish.

Best fitness decision I've made

As a man in my early 30s that used to do a lot of sports and activity when I was younger, but had let myself get really out of shape (99.6kg as someone 5 foot 10, not muscular), finding it very difficult to manage my own habits, I decided to engage with Rory’s personal training programme.

I had never thought that a person trainer would be suitable for me, but speaking with Rory and seeing how passionate he was, and hearing about his personalised, holistic approach, made me think he would be a good match – and I was right!

Rory always put so much care into my individual needs, making sure that I was well supported and understood what was needed from me to make things work – his guidance very quickly addressed manageable dietary changes such that the fuel I put into my body was healthy, but not boring, which was vital for me to succeed. He also was available whenever to talk about my training, even out of sessions, which meant a lot.

If you want a trainer that caters to your body, your lifestyle, and your goals, then I strongly recommend Rory. I lost 12kg over the four months that I trained with him, and I only stopped due to my own financial reasons. The habits that he taught me have helped me continue with being a fitter, healthier person, and I am looking forward to coming back to more personal training with Rory in the future.

Side effects may include becoming hench

Hands down recommend Rory as a PT. Whether physically or mentally I always know he’s got my back and always down to have a laugh.

For years I’ve been on and off with fitness, trying to do it all myself, getting injuries, second guessing every step and getting nowhere. Now, in just a couple of months, I’ve seen more progress than I’ve seen in years.

From day one Rory has given me clear guidance in every aspect of fitness and a personalised training plan that evolves with me. I’ve never had a question go unanswered and I’ve never felt so confident in my life.

Coolest kid in town and one of the nicest guys you’ll meet. Thanks for being a great pal.

Rory is a fantastic personal trainer

Rory is a fantastic personal trainer! He was incredibly supportive to myself and my wife to achieve our weight loss and fitness goals in the lead up to our wedding.
He tailored our exercise programs by accommodating for existing injuries while still targeting the areas that we wanted to improve. He is also very knowledgeable of nutrition and was able to give us some very tasty and quick to make recipe ideas for meals and snacks to hit our protein targets.
Couldn’t recommend highly enough,

Rory helped transform my life

Rory is an excellent coach, his knowledge and energy were a perfect match to what I needed. He helped guide me from day 1 with a comprehensive plan tailored specifically to me and my goals.

Incredibly supportive but knows how to push you to get the best out of you. On top of that he's a great guy to chat to and always has both your physical and mental health in mind.

He makes himself available outside of the gym sessions for any worries or concerns, which really helped boost my confidence in getting back to the gym.

If there were more 6/5 stars for sure.

Very motivating!

When I moved back to Bristol I was set on finding a PT who could help me lose weight and get me stronger. I have certainly found that with Rory! I would highly recommend him. Really lovely guy, and pushes you when he knows you can do more

Awesome PT

Before working with Rory, I had only ever gone to the gym on my own, kind of just figuring things out as I went. Training with Rory has been a game-changer. He’s super knowledgeable, really knows his stuff, and what stood out the most is how encouraging and supportive he is.

Since starting, I’ve put on more weight and muscle, but more importantly, I’ve learned how to train properly and safely. Rory’s great at understanding what your body needs and will adjust exercises on the fly if something isn’t working for you. That kind of attention really helped me progress without getting injured or overwhelmed.

If you’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about helping you improve and actually knows how to get you there, I’d definitely recommend training with Rory.

My personal training experience with Rory

I exercised a lot in my early 20s but let it slide in recent years. I rejoined the gym in mid-2024 and started training with Rory a few months before the end of the year.

After 2 months of training with Rory, 4 sessions a week, with tailored exercise and diet plans, I lost 6 kilos, gained strength and muscle, and improved my confidence and knowledge. Rory is always quick to respond and goes above and beyond to support his clients.

Rory is upbeat, motivated, and knowledgeable, making training enjoyable and effective. I highly recommend Rory’s personal training for anyone looking to improve their fitness and overall well-being.

Great experience

I used to give up on the gym quickly and struggled with consistency, but working with Rory changed that completely. Training with him feels like working out with a knowledgeable friend who knows how to push you and keep you on track.

I now feel stronger, fitter, and way more motivated and I finally know what I’m doing to get results. Rory is super encouraging, makes you feel comfortable from day one, and knows how to get the best out of you. I highly recommend him if you’re ready to make real progress!

Fields Fitness is your guy!

I’ve struggled with consistency in fitness due to a lack of structured training, which limited my progress. Training with Rory changed everything. His personalised training programmes, expertise in fitness and nutrition, and positive attitude gave me an instant boost.

Rory's contagious energy makes training feel easy and effective. I've gained muscle, lost weight, and feel more confident in and out of the gym. Incredible PT

I’ve been training with Rory since March and he’s helped so much not just with my fitness but also my outlook on life. I feel stronger, healthier and more confident in myself. If you’ve ever thought about getting a PT I could not recommend this guy enough! My lifts are so much stronger, I have a routine and I genuinely enjoy the gym again.

Smash it with a smile!

I’ve always maintained a good fitness base through various sports, but with no strict goals. Rory has been an excellent, adaptable trainer who tailored my program around my lifestyle while keeping things fun and motivating. We tracked progress, and he knew exactly when to push me to get results.

Rory also gave great nutrition advice and promoted a balanced, healthy lifestyle. Through regular, enjoyable sessions, I’ve built full-body strength, added muscle, and feel stronger and more energetic day to day. His knowledge, positivity, and endless motivation make him stand out. I highly recommend Rory whether you’re new to training or chasing a specific goal — he’ll help you smash it with a smile!

Friendly, real, and knowledgeable PT

I was so nervous about going back to the gym after a long time off, and have never really fully known what I was doing. Being a woman in the gym can also be hard as it is often male dominated and can be daunting. Rory made me feel comfortable, looked after, and like no question was stupid. He also makes sure the workouts we do are the things that I actually enjoy, cutting out any exercises I don't like as he hugely recognises how it has to be enjoyable and not a chore. Now I am not only in the best shape I have ever been, but I am confident in my body and also in how I train. He's always there for the random questions I have with his extensive knowledge, and our sessions are always relaxed and we have a laugh alongside getting things done. Would though roughly recommend Rory to anyone at any level and any gender that is looking to up their gym game. Cheers Rory!

Rory was absolutely amazing

As someone with a severe mental illness and no proper exercise experience at all, I was worried that getting a personal trainer was going to end up a disaster for both of us.

Rory was absolutely amazing and has a natural talent for tailoring sessions to the needs of the client's body and mind. I got so much stronger and feel like I have a much better understanding of my own body, what it needs and how it works. What I learned at our sessions are skills that will serve me a lifetime.
