I appreciate your having got it done. The one thing that could have been better was that it was shipped to a wrong address. The FedEx driver called me from an address about 7 miles away. It may have... See more

Awesome customer service! Quick, efficient turnaround with the recovered data.
Definitely a lifesaver, as well as sanity.........
y'all are awesome!
Fields Data Recovery was amazingly fast -- they offered immediate and respectful customer service and provided a solution within the week I submitted my concerns. Best of all, they retrieved all my files when I thought I had no way of getting them back; and their service was at an affordable price!!! Can't thank them enough!
The service was great
They did recover my files from a non-spinning failed HD. Yes, it was nerve racking waiting a full week with expedited service, but was worth it.
Although at first I was concerned about being asked to pay before the data was recovered, Adam worked around that and showed me the file names, at which point I GLADLY paid! I understand the complex nature of what you do, and I am amazed that you were able to recover the data. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! -Fred
They recovered way more than another company I took my device to. They gave me back so many baby videos and all the sentimental stuff I almost lost. Thank you!!!!
They were able to retrieve my hard drive information at a decent price compared to their competitors.
It's an uncomfortable experience feeling you may have lost important data. What I liked about Fields Data Recovery is that they made me feel comfortable from the start. They didn't make any promises but they certainly gave me confidence we might get it back.
Business model is good and altruistic. We didn't have any risk we had to take on during the evaluation of the failed device. Basically, they are doing a lot of the hard work for "free". I place a lot of trust in this company from now on.
Very expensive. Seemed to want to push until payment then took more time than they quoted and made excuses such as they did not have a replacement drive on hand. In fairness I should have looked around for alternatives.

Excellent service and customer care
The followup with the customer, the speed for solving the problem, the technical support. Everything went smooth and fast.
Fields-Data-Recovery has helped me a few times now to recover data from client's failed hard drives that I've been unable to recover with normal software tools.
Fields provided free shipping to get the drive to them for analysis which was a huge help in selling the idea of the service to my clients so there was no obligation if the drive was deemed too expensive to recover or all-together unrecoverable.
Fields provided very quick turn-around on their analysis of the drive(s) and gave me very accurate ideas on what data I could expect to recover along with time frames and a general cost window.
I highly recommend using Fields Data Recovery for failed drive recovery!
The whole process was very smooth and they kept me posted every step of the way.
My experience was overall positive. Communication with Julian was great and easy, he's a really good person and helped me through the process well. Obviously getting my data back was huge but he really made the experience very pleasant for such a stressful situation.
I take a star away because their online payment system wouldn't process my card after multiple attempts, even after preauthorizing my bank to run the transaction. Then after being out of cell service for a few days I returned to a message that if I didn't pay they were going to charge $500 extra as a storage fee (yikes). I was able to provide my information over the phone eventually but they need to update/change their online payment platform.
Professional, honest, customer centric
Successfully recovered a precious video that we thought was lost forever.
The advertisement was somewhat misleading and the up front communication seemed a bit tricky. Like they were trying to scare me into feeling fortunate when they were able to recover the data for $2000.
Eventually we came to an agreement and the recovery was flawless. I have the use of all of my data and they were very quick about it. Overall a good experience.
It was a great experience and pleasure. The reps were so kind to keep me informed and I had their contacts if I had questions. And I was so grateful that they saved most of my data which were years of Family Pictures.
Thank you!!
So, I sent an old 1.5TB Western Digital external hard drive from about 10yrs ago to see how much it would be to recover the information. Older attempts were way outside my price range, but was told the information was recoverable. I learned quite a bit about hard dives in an attempt to possibly recover it my self. I knew it would take some new basic parts and a clean room. Access to a clean room is what I did not have. I did purchase a working hard drive that was same model, and with in a month or so of manufacturing date and lot number for good working parts. I had already written the hard drive off due to age but there was some sentimental stuff I would have liked to retrieve. The hard drive died due to a power surge from 220v lines in Iraq after an attack on our base. Apparently telling the company that the information is important gives it a good story and therefor to them makes it more valuable. At first great communication with Adam and he was really, confident about the outcome. Of course, always with the caveat they can't guarantee. Of course after they received both Hard drives, the original and the parts drive the immediately performed a base diagnostic and said they would need to order parts because the extra drive I sent was bad too. Should have been my red flag. Well, the non-refundable/non-guarantee price for parts and labor at $1384.35 was cheaper than the 2,500 quoted 10 years ago for a guaranteed recovery, still more than the $400 they base on their site and over the initial on the phone. I reluctantly paid cause I was hopefully for a good outcome and get back photos/video from wedding, deployment and basically anything from before I was 25. Thats when it all went down hill. I waiting through the week with no word, looking forward to an email or phone call with some kind of update or progress as they had done to quickly get me a quote. After a week or so I decided to call Adam and left a message. He called back relatively quickly with bad news. He claimed to be reading notes from engineers, and that after replacing pretty much the entire hard drive they were unable to get any information from it and it was unrecoverable. At first, I was kind of surprised due to the positive attitude toward a success before but then immediately shocked when there was a rush to destroy the hard drive instead of sending it back to me. As he has highlighted specifically the value to me. So here I am with no data, loss of $1300+ and waiting to receive my hard drives. I will perform an inspection when I get them back as I recorded the serial numbers of the internal components to see of anything was actually replaced, as I paid for the parts I should receive the parts. If they were not, I will be notifying the FBI for fraud and filling fraud against my credit card and the BBB. The reason I have gone down this route are the quickness to get quote and payment, no contact once payment received, touting success with little caveat, suddenly parts that were good are now damaged beyond repair, and the quickness to destroy instead of returning the drive. Thank you for listening. No company should take payment before service performed, always ends in fraud.
The recovery was fine - very expensive. Only after I paid did I see a number of people from online reviews say that their price was significantly cheaper when they griped about the sticker price. Live and learn.
The first thing that was great is that they immediately reached out via call when I was still looking for options on where to go for the situation. They did not charge me to send my device to them. They constantly kept me update on the status via call. The process was a lot quicker and I got back data I did not expect to get back based on what I told them was important to me. So, I am grateful for their service.
